SUPPLEMENTARY

From Esk – Saturday 2 July 2016 – amendment to the below report:

SHADOW QUEEN - Clipped the heels of LITTLE MISTER (App. Johnston-Bell) near the 1000m and blundered, dislodging App. B Panya. At a subsequent inquiry, App. Johnston-Bell pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR.137 (a), in that he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of SHADOW QUEEN. App. Johnston-Bell’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 4 weeks, to commence midnight the 6th of July 2016, and to expire midnight the 3rd of August 2016. App B Panya was subsequently cleared to fulfil her remaining engagements.

Stewards subsequently acceded to a request from apprentice Johnston-Bell for permission to alter the suspension period, which will now commence at midnight on Sunday 10 July and expire at midnight on Sunday 7 August 2016. This request was approved due to the length of the suspension period.
