LUCKY MACHU – Hung out rounding the first turn hampering another runner
 
MISS SABATINI – Had to be steadied away from the heels of LUCKY MACHU when approaching the 1000m, resented the kickback
 
SECRET SITES – Jumped away awkwardly
 
NEW YORK MISS – Raced wide throughout, resented kickback
 
NAVILLUS DOLLY – Raced 4 wide throughout
 
SOLID ASSET – Slow away and raced wide throughout
 
Race 2: NAB MORE THAN MONEY QTIS Maiden Plate 1030m
 
Start of the race was delayed when the Queensland Ambulance Service had to attend the a patron on course and the race was run after only a short delay.
 
FLAME OF LIBERTY – The start was further delayed when the gelding became fractious in the barriers and became cast, and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 3:32 pm on Vets advise.  The trainer was advised that the gelding will need to obtain another barrier certificate. Subsequent to the event all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

20 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
27 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets

LEICA FIRECRACKER – Jockey K Gates reported the mare had hung throughout
 
PIANO MAN – Rider M Crawford was dislodged when approaching the 400m, stewards have adjourned the inquiry, a date to be fixed to allow jockey M Crawford to give evidence when medically fit and able to do so. M Crawford was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment and observation.
