Race 1: - BOOTH RURAL QTIS Maiden Plate 1100 Metres:
1st STAR ODYSSEY 2nd JUST PRETENDS 3rd PURFLEET PRINCESS 4th AKHEILOS

JUST PRETENDS - Sprung the barrier gate and was immediately restrained and reloaded.

PURFLEET PRINCESS - Bumped another runner on jumping.

TOOGOOLAWAH TRUMP - Bumped by another runner on jumping.

COCOA POPS - Slow into stride.

LACH’S POCKET - Raced wide throughout.

AKHEILOS - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

STAR OF ODYSSEY - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

Race 2: - JULIA CREEK TURF CLUB BenchMark 45 Handicap 1100 Metres:
1st SPLASH OUT 2nd MORE DUST 3rd MOUNTAIN PROMISE 4th MOJAVE ROYALE.

MORE DUST - Bumped another runner on jumping.

SHOW US THE WAY - Bumped by another runner on jumping.

WULFWIN - Jumped awkwardly. Slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any irregularities.

SUBOSAMI - Approaching the 800 metre turn was marginally tightened for room when another runner shifted in.

MOUNTAIN PROMISE - Shifted in approaching the 800 metre turn marginally tightening another runner. Jockey S. McGovern was advised to exercise more care. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

DIURNAL TIGER - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

COWARDOFTHECOUNTY – Was inclined to hang out throughout.

Race 3: - SOUTH 32 ARTESIAN EXPRESS Class 2 Handicap 1200 Metres:
1st WANTABETHEONE 2nd MURRUMBIDGEE 3rd AZUSA 4th BORN TO FIRE

MY MICHELLE - Was reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Jumped awkwardly after being fractious in the barrier losing considerable ground. Jockey K Ballard made application to have the mare declared a non starter. After hearing evidence this application was denied.

SILVER BOWS - Slowly away losing ground.

MURRUMBIDGEE - Bumped another runner on jumping.

FIRST PAIGE - Bumped by another runner on jumping.

KELCHEZ - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

AZUSA - Raced wide throughout.

Race 4: - JULIA CREEK TURF CLUB Class 3 Plate 1350 Metres:
1st MAHONGA 2nd TIRYNS 3rd MR PEPPERS 4th SWEENEY

MAN OF MELODY - Was a late withdrawal at 4:05pm after rearing in the barriers and sustaining an injury to is near foreleg. Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all bets placed on MAN OF MELODY were to be refunded in full and all winning bets be subject to the deductions of 31 cents win and 21 cents place on the face value of the ticket. Trainer Mr. J Morris was advised that a veterinary certificate of fitness is required before the gelding can again start in a race.

SWEENEY - Slowly away.

SNAZZY SOX - Slow into stride.

MR PEPPERS - Jockey D Ballard lost his iron soon after the start and then raced wide all the way.

Race 5: - JULIA CREEK TURF CLUB OPEN Handicap 1350 Metres:
1st ALL FIVES 2nd THE GALLOWS 3rd WHAT THE HECK 4th REVEL IN THE CHAOS

K. Ballard replaced T. Chambers who could not make the weight, as the rider of MORE TO IT.

THE PANTZ - Slowly away and raced wide all the way.

SMOOTH GENERAL - Slowly away.

SHOW US A SMILE - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre and home turns.

GUN AND POWER - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
