TOWER HILL PICNIC  AMATEUR CLUB  INC.-  Friday 26th August, 2022.  (Day One).

GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS).  No Bookmakers or Photo Finish operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall. All riders who competed were licensed Approved Riders.  All prizes were in the form of trophies only.

Race 1:  COLEMAN STOCK FEED MAIDEN PLATE.  (Set Weights).  800 Metres.
 
SERIOUS CAPER – Began awkwardly ,and shifted inwards shortly after the start and then raced wide all the way.
 
JUST NICCO -  Shifted inwards shortly after the start.       
 
Race 2:  TOPX RESTRICTED TROPHY 3  (Set Weights).     800 Metres.

 NOBLE THOUGHT – Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
 
AMBER TOPS -  Raced wide for the majority.
 
SIR TRUSTICE -  Rider dropped his whip at the 100 metres. 
 
 
Race 3:  THE LOGAN FAMILY  RESTRICTED TROPHY 4.  (Set Weights) 1200 Metres.

GOT THE RHYTHM- Slow to begin.
 
At about the 800 metres HARVEY STAR which had been slow to begin  bumped with DRAG WAY.
 
HARVEY STAR – layed in under pressure over the concluding stages.   
 
Race 4:  BERYL OPEN TROPHY RACE.   (Set Weights).  800 metres.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW – reluctant to proceed to the start.
 
GOLDSAY – Shifted in at the start.
 
SARENDA – Slow to begin and shifted inwards  and raced wide throughout. 
 
Race 5:  TOWER HILL HILL BRACELET.  OPEN TROPHY RACE,  Set Weights.  1400 Metres.  
 
ARI GOLD – Reared at start losing ground.
 
Race 6:  TONY & JAN  HETHERINGTON  RESTRICTED TROPHY 2.  (Set Weights).  1000 Metres.
 
No racing incidents.    
 
Race 7:  A. E. RICHARDSON OPEN TROPHY RACE (Set Weights).  1000 Metres.
 
No racing incidents.

Veterinary Certificates of fitness to race were presented in respect of GOT THE RHYTHM, ELLE STYLE and SPURSYN under  the terms of AR 78 (2).
