Raced greenly when attempting to secure clear running in early stages home straight. Rider's comment re performance - indicated horse would appreciate a step up in distance as in today’s event it showed gait speed and he would have been able to hold and secure a forward position however, due to wide barrier obliged to steady to obtain cover at rear of field and was doing its best work over concluding stages.
