Rider explained after being wide early obtained trailing position passing 900m. Stated only travelled fairly from that point on and passing 650m commenced to weaken and in his opinion was making an upper respiratory noise and elected not to pressure over concluding stages. Vetted - no abnormalities. Stable reported sustained small laceration to outside of near fore leg. Trainer advised will require endoscope and vet clearance.
