Shifted its off hind plate in the parade yard. When attempting to re-plate the mare, it cast its near hind plate. As the mare could not be re-plated, Stewards permitted it to race with no hind plates. The mare underwent a veterinary examination prior to being loaded and was cleared to start.

When questioned as to the performance, Jockey A Allen stated that the mare raced keenly in the early and middle stages as a result of TIME TO PLAY which was inclined to lay in and in doing so bumped MY DELILAH on a number of occasions. Nonetheless, Jockey Allen was disappointed with the mare’s failure to finish off the race over the final 400m and in his opinion was disappointing. Trainer B Lockwood indicated that he would step the mare up in distance and attempt to have it ridden with cover.
