When asked to comment on the performance, jockey J. Byrne indicated that whilst he was travelling well on the home turn, he was somewhat held up passing the 400m, however when afforded clear running in the home straight, the horse failed to respond and weakened over the final 200m. He indicated that, in his view, the filly did not run out a strong 1600m.
