Jumped awkwardly and made contact with another runner. Finished tailed off. M. McGillivray reported that at no stage did the horse travel comfortably and was under pressure from the 600m onwards. Trainer S. Kendrick indicated that he was at a loss to explain the performance, adding that he expected a forward showing on the horse’s work. He advised that the horse will undergo an endoscopic examination in ensuing days, the finding of which he will report to stewards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
