Connections advised that the horse would be ridden in a more forward position than at its most recent start. The horse was ridden in a position three wide outside the lead without cover, then weakened in the home straight. M. Hellyer, when asked to comment on the horse’s performance, indicated that from the 700m the filly did not travel comfortably and was very disappointing over the concluding stages. Trainer D. Vandyke confirmed his disappointment in the performance and indicated that he would be likely to add blinkers again to the horse’s gear prior to its next start and also gave an undert
