When questioned regarding the performance, jockey S. Bogenhuber stated that the gelding began well, however after obtaining cover the horse did not travel strongly and proved disappointing. Stewards noted the explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer L. Hatch advised Stewards that he would monitor the gelding’s recovery and notify stewards if any abnormalities are detected in the coming days.
