When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey L. Tilley stated he was disappointed in the horse’s performance. Adding his mount was under pressure to hold its position throughout the event and weakened over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore leg. Tnr advised vet clearance required prior to resuming racing.
