Jockey L Morrison advised that after the tardy beginning she considered her best option would be to cross to the inside and attempt to get the mare to settle, whilst not covering excessive ground, however Starfilly refused to settle, racing ungenerously for the major part of the race. Jockey Morrison was also of the opinion that the mare is better suited to races over a shorter distance than that of today’s event.
