Jumped away awkwardly. When questioned, J. Lloyd stated that his instructions were to have the filly positioned in the first three, however after beginning awkwardly he was further back in the field than intended. He added that he was then forced to race three wide without cover, however the filly was under pressure from the 600m and did not respond to his riding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings and a swab sample was taken.
