When questioned regarding the horse’s performance, apprentice stated that the gelding failed to show any early speed and in her opinion raced flat. Trainer stated that he felt the drop back in distance today had an effect on the horse’s performance and in view of this it is now the intention to step the horse back up in distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
