Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Jenna Stephens as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.

Jenna joins the QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer network, bringing over 18 years of professional experience in starting, training, and riding horses across a wide range of disciplines. Beginning her riding journey at a young age through Pony Club in Victoria, Jenna developed a lifelong passion for horsemanship. She competed in numerous disciplines, including hacking, dressage, eventing, and showjumping, which helped her build a well-rounded and versatile skill set. Her passion later shifted to western riding, where she has achieved significant success in the show ring.

In 2009, Jenna moved to the Sunshine Coast and secured a transformative role with the late Brian McMahon – affectionately known as the Coolum Beach Horse Whisperer. For 18 months, she worked full-time alongside Brian, gaining invaluable knowledge in natural horsemanship and horse training.

Jenna takes great pride in her training approach. Drawing on her diverse experience, she focuses on retraining methods that help each horse become a well-rounded, safe, and educated partner for their new riders.

“I am deeply passionate about riding and training horses, and I find great fulfillment in helping both horses and riders reach their full potential. I believe that OTT horses deserve thoughtful, skilled retraining tailored to their individual needs and strengths.”

Jenna operates her equine business, Equine Intelligence, from her 112-acre property in Coondoo, QLD. She offers a full range of services, including starting and breaking, training and re-education, as well as horse riding lessons. Her purpose-built equine training facility provides a calm, spacious, and professional environment, ideal for the retraining and development of OTT Thoroughbreds.

Jenna is an Equestrian Australia Accredited Coach (Introductory) and a PCAQ Level C Instructor.
