QTIS ELIGIBILITY
To become a QTIS-registered horse, a horse must meet the requirements for either Eligibility A - Queensland Sired or Eligibility B - Breedback.
Eligibility is subject to the QTIS and QTISx terms and conditions.
Eligibility A - Queensland Sired
A horse may be eligible under Eligibility A if it is the progeny of a stallion standing in Queensland at the time of conception.
A nomination is not required for Eligibility A. However, the applicable registration payments must be made for the horse to be fully paid up and eligible to win QTIS bonuses.
All Australian Studbook obligations must also be met and registration cannot be processed until parentage has been verified.
Eligibility B - Breedback
A horse may be eligible under Eligibility B if it is the progeny of a non-Queensland based stallion, provided the dam was covered by a Queensland-domiciled stallion in the year the foal being registered was born.
