Summer Scorcher Series

Summer Scorcher Series

Eight nights. Two tracks. One unforgettable summer.

South-East Queensland is turning on the lights for a new exciting chapter of night racing this summer, with the launch of the new Summer Scorcher Series for the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

From November 13 to January 22, the eight-meeting series will light up Corbould Park and Aquis Park, combining racing under lights with increased prizemoney and performance bonuses. The series is set to showcase South-East Queensland racing throughout the summer months.

Each Summer Scorcher meeting will feature enhanced prizemoney, with standard races carrying $33,000 to $35,000. Selected short-course races will also offer bonus incentives for horses that eclipse prescribed benchmark times at either the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast tracks.
