Townsville Turf Club - Additional Stabling
CompletedCLUDEN PARK STABLING COMPLETE
Cluden Park’s reputation as North Queensland’s premier racing and training hub has been further enhanced with the delivery of close to 100 on-course stables.
Situated on the back straight of the racecourse, the $10 million development also delivered ancillary services including feed rooms, wash down bays, horse walkers, as well as road access and sealed parking.
These upgrades ensure Townsville remains equipped to host major events and continues as a vital hub for Queensland racing.
This stabling project follows a string of recent enhancements at Cluden Park, including the delivery of 100 new raceday stalls, upgraded jockey facilities, and a fibre sand training track.
Funded in part by a $7.8 million contribution from the Racing Infrastructure Fund, the works were delivered by local contractor A. Gabrielli Constructions.
The new facilities further strengthen Cluden Park’s reputation as one of the state’s leading racing and training precincts.
