RACE ONE

BETTOR JIGGLE (6) was first up in Qld last start from the second line when pressing on through before receiving cover. Wide off the track in the closing stages, he found the line in smart fashion in a strong last half to take the prize. With the benefit of that experience, he can overcome the gate.

YANKEE C J (2) is yet to find a win in 9 attempts here at The Triangle but lands an improved alley here after facing some wide and second line alleys of late. Sent out fav last week from gate 9, he was trying to make late metres when 6m in arrears. Winless in over 3 years is a big concern.

MISTY CREEK (9) was game in defeat last start when pressing on to sit parked and grafting out a determined 2nd when 1m from the winner JUST JOSHIN. The gate makes it tougher this time.

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (4) was hemmed away from inside the second line here last week and when the gap arrived, he darted through to make it 4 from his last 6. Up in class, he can still feature.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR JIGGLE (6), YANKEE C J (2), MISTY CREEK (9), MY ULTIMATE BONDI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTOR JIGGLE (6) to win

RACE TWO

DOLLARBILL (3) was a winner from gate 5 two starts back when easing early before charging home in the closing stages to grab the prize. Sent forward from the second line to sit parked last time out, it was a game effort to be 7m in arrears of the winner and the improved gate is a big plus.

CANDYKANE (2) has been freshened since her last appearance when tackling the Redcliffe Oaks and she found them a little out of reach. Beaten by the second line the start prior when wide off the track trying to make ground, the improved gate here looks a better option.

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (4) was a winner from the second line three starts back when swooping on them in the closing stages for a narrow victory. Not far away in two runs since, he has claims again.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (5) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon locked away and searching for gaps as THE IRISH EAGLE arrived. He is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: DOLLARBILL (3), CANDYKANE (2), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (4), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLARBILL (3) to win

RACE THREE

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (9)
made full use of gate 3 last start when sent to the front and once in control was never in danger with a 2m margin. Angled to the poles form the second line last start, he needed space sooner when getting within a neck of the winner and can be powering home here.

UNDERTHEKILT (1) angled to the passing lane last start and was trying to issue a closing raid when finishing under 3m from the winner but just missed the money. Too far back the start prior when easing from gate 4, the inside alley is a big plus for his challenging chances.

ILLBEWATCHING (6) has the wide gate to contend with but with even luck looks a podium player. Trying to make closing metres from back in the pack last start, settling closer will aid his hopes.

ROCKINDOWNUNDER (5) fired out to take control last start and fighting them off early, wilted in the closing stages to be the caboose. The gate makes it tough, but she can be sharper in this line up.

SELECTIONS: CHEDDAR MADE BETA (9), UNDERTHEKILT (1), ILLBEWATCHING (6), ROCKINDOWNUNDER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEDDAR MADE BETA (9) to win

RACE FOUR

FEELGOOD EXPRESS (8)
has a handy record on this deck and is knocking on the door after finishing as the runner-up at her past three in succession. Sent forward to sit parked from gate 4 last time, she has been beaten 1m and a head behind VERMONT at her past two. This is within reach.

DEVELSTIX (4) fired out from gate 3 to take control last start and from the front was trying to take them all the way when finishing 1m in arrears. Taken to the front from this same gate two starts back, he fought them off emphatically with an 18m margin and will be throwing it down again.

TULHURST CUDDLES (3) has placed in 2 of her 3 starts on this deck and last start was 2m from the winner yet still missed the minor money. Settling handy from this alley can see her in the mix.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (9) was sent to the post as fav from gate 7 last start over the AP mile but was never in the mix. Tough in defeat when parked two starts back, he can make a closing play.

SELECTIONS: FEELGOOD EXPRESS (8), DEVELSTIX (4), TULHURST CUDDLES (3), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELGOOD EXPRESS (8) to win

RACE FIVE

COURAGEOUS SAM (4) was a winner here four runs back when sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked and grafting it out proved too tough in claiming a narrow margin. Runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when sent out as the fav, he can get forward to take control of proceedings.

DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (5) has hit the board in 3 of her past 4 starts, the latest when firing out early from gate 5 to find the trail and finishing with the bronze, 3m from the winner. Runner-up from this alley two runs back, she can again be pressing on to make a challenge.

BETTOR MEMORIES (2) eased to the poles here two starts back and using the passing lane was able to grab the silver. Tackling a mare’s qualifier last start, she can be making a play in this line up.

GINATIANO (7) will take benefit from her last start where she was resuming from a spell. Doing some work in the run to finish midfield, she will be probing for the gaps from this alley.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS SAM (4), DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (5), BETTOR MEMORIES (2), GINATIANO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS SAM (4) to win

RACE SIX

JILLIBY GIZMO (5)
faced gate 10 over the AP mile last start and was trying to make ground wide off the track. Working hard the start prior from this alley when leading the three-wide train, this race looks a wide-open affair and with even luck, he can be the one to capitalise.

NEVAEVABEND (9) angled to the poles last start from the second line and with the economical trip, was making a closing play to be 6m from the winner in 3rd position. Trying to make ground wide off the track the start prior, she can be looking for a cart into the contest to issue a challenge.

BERTILS FIREFOX (2) has good speed off the arm when let slide and from this alley can be first to the poles and have the options thereafter. 3rd here 3 starts back when releasing, he is in the mix.

LORD DENZEL (3) sat parked last start at Marburg and in for the fight, was under 3m from the winner RISKY BUZINESS. From this alley, he can be up near the action once again to feature.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY GIZMO (5), NEVAEVABEND (9), BERTILS FIREFOX (2), LORD DENZEL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY GIZMO (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

HARRY KANE (7)
found the conditions to suit last start and justified the prohibitive quote, winning like you want a $1.15 fav to by pulling away to take a 39m margin and run a tidy last half unpressured. The gate is a little tricky but avoiding the pocket, he should be too classy again.

THE WEAPON (1) put it all together last start to open his account after being sent to the post as the punters elect from gate 4. Working forward and then receiving cover, he had the closing power to take the prize. He might not have the hustle to hold up, but if a gap presents, he can take his shot.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (3) sat in the pocket trail from gate 1 here last week and via the passing lane was able to grab the silver when 2m adrift of the winner. With the right trip he can be thereabouts.

GOTTA DREAM (8) might find this a shade easier than recent outings, his latest when down the line behind LUXURY LAD. With the option of darting down to the markers, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: HARRY KANE (7), THE WEAPON (1), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (3), GOTTA DREAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HARRY KANE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (4) has placed at his past 4 in succession, the latest when a beaten fav from gate 1 after being crossed and finishing 7m from the winner DIEGO DELGADO. His numbers at the distance are tidy enough and pressing forward can see him arrive.

GETALOADATHISBRO (8) is yet to hit the board in 4 attempts beyond 2000m but comes into this race with the right gate to secure the trip. A winner over the 1780m four starts back, it was followed with a 3rd over the AP mile. With the right trip he can be making a challenge.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7) has the best figures at the trip in the field but has struggled to find the wire in front this season. Gunned down in front last start after a steady opening half, he will be probing.
FEEL THE THRILL (1) has the gate to aid his chances but his record at the middle trip is a concern. Down the line last start, an economical trip behind the speed will aid his chances.

SELECTIONS: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (4), GETALOADATHISBRO (8), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7), FEEL THE THRILL (1),
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (4) to win

RACE NINE

OUTER CHANGE (4)
has been runner-up in 2 of the past 3 starts as she chases the maiden breaking victory. Settled in the running line last start, she was making a closing raid to get within a head of the winner, THE WEAPON. The wider gate makes it tricky, but she might just have found her chance.

HEAVENLY SEA (1) will be third up in Qld for this contest and finds conditions to issue a challenge. A wheel issue proved costly first up and then second up she had the speed to lead and was collared in the last stride when just a neck from the winner. With the good alley, she is in the thick of this.

DESTINY BLUES (6) has placed in 4 of her past 5 attempts as she searches for the elusive account opener. Best of the rest behind HARRY KANE last start, the wide gate makes it tough in this.

BOKHARI (7) is a Cammibest filly on debut for Karly Mason out of the former handy race mare Im El Magic. With a sound preparatory trial, she can be probing the poles for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: OUTER CHANGE (4), HEAVENLY SEA (1), DESTINY BLUES (6), BOKHARI (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

ARKIN WICKED (2)
is on debut for Grant Dixon, the colt by the champion sire Art Major out of Ark De Jeanne, makes him a half to the former handy type Ark Patrol. With a smart trial in readiness for his first outing, he looks smart enough to start his career in style.

SIR BOSTON (3) has been runner-up in 3 of his 4 career starts, the latest when making a closing dive to be just a head adrift of the winner CHIEF JUJON. Best of the chasing bunch as JILLIBY TYPHOON claimed a big win two starts back, he gets his chance to issue a challenge.

CRADOCK (7) added another placing to the tally last week to make it 4 of his past 5 as he chases a first win that is proving mighty elusive. With the second line options he can be joining in.

TRUE ORIGINS (5) has no favours from the wide gate but her effort here two starts back was a sound return behind YOGI. With even luck she can look to fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: ARKIN WICKED (2), SIR BOSTON (3), CRADOCK (7), TRUE ORIGINS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ARKIN WICKED (2) to win
