RACE ONE

A winner last start from the inside second line after stalking the speed and then taking the snipers shot up the passing lane, COPY WRITER (8) looks set to enjoy the same trip here. Setting a new career PB with that win, she will be ready for the lane again here to rinse and repeat.

FAST TRACKER (9) was buried three back from gate 1 last start and was searching for gaps when finding a half opening to dart through along the passing lane for the silver when 4m from HES PERFECTLY IDEAL. With a smart trial to get back to the races prior to that outing, he can challenge.

VINDICATE (6) was a winner over the mile here two starts back when firing out to take control and take them all the way. Releasing over the 2138m last start when beaten a half-head, the gate stings.

HARRY KANE (3) sat rearward from gate 10 last start and watched the action unfold before charging home up the stretch to arrive for a smart win. Snaring his best gate in recent starts, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: COPY WRITER (8), FAST TRACKER (9), VINDICATE (6), CHAL BE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: COPY WRITER (8) to win

RACE TWO

Missing a placing for the first time after 9 starts here at headquarters last start, CLASSIE WASHINGTON (2) looked set to be in the money until locking wheels and dislodging the driver. Best of the chasers two starts back when 2md to LEAP TO FAME, he can settle handy enough for redemption.

RONALDO (4) eased from gate 5 last time out to settle rearward before closing out in smart fashion to be under 3m from the winner AUNT BELLA. Looming into it strongly before encountering the scrimmage from CLASSIE WASHINGTON two runs back, he can dart across here to challenge.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (7) has the outside paint to negotiate, but he was able to defy this alley last time when charging home over the top for a stylish B5 victory. Never far away, he can charge home.

SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE (5) resumes from a spell after being given a break following his 4YO Championship victory during the carnival. With 4 wins in 6 starts on this deck, he is in the fight.

SELECTIONS: CLASSIE WASHINGTON (2), RONALDO (4), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (7), SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Showing the benefit of lighting the lamps here two starts back, ARCHILLES (2) found the front and then kept them rolling to claim a 2m margin in a PB rate. Strong to the line last start after retreating from gate 7, he has been in the money at his past 4 on the bounce and gets his chance to dictate.

SHADYS DELIGHT (10) has place at his past two attempts, the latest when eased from gate 7 when the field was released before darting through along the passing lane to be 2m astern of the winner WILLIEWA LIGHTNING in the Marburg to Albion Final. With even luck in transit, he can challenge.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (4) is in search of the hat-trick after wins at Marburg and the here over the mile. Asked to graft it out first over in the win here last time, he might need to roll the sleeves again.

SUGGESTED BET: ARCHILLES (2) to win

RACE FOUR

After tackling a stronger contest last start where he was set alight from gate 5 to lead, NO DOUBT (1) should relish his opportunity from the tighter gate for this contest. Fading in the last strides to be 4m from the winner ROCKS OR DIAMONDS in that battle, he looks to get every chance here.

KANYE CRUSADER (7) was building towards a victory after some sectionally strong efforts and capitalised at Redcliffe three starts back when charging home over the top to an easy 8m margin. On the plain side at his next start, he bounced back with an effortless win at Kilcoy last time but cops the tough gate.

RACY ROXY (5) tackles the older boys here fresh up following her last start 2nd in the 3YO Fillies Triad Final. Claiming the SE Oaks three starts back when darting along the passing lane, she is a podium chance.

SUGGESTED BET: NO DOUBT (1) to win

RACE FIVE

With a pair of 2nd place finishes sandwiching a win all on this deck, HIT THE TRACK (3) look to have found conditions to chase another win. Worried out of it last start when beaten a half-head, he found the trail two starts back and angled into space to score a 5m victory. This is within reach.

OFFICE BAD BOY (1) sat in the pocket trail at Redcliffe two starts back and was trying to make a closing raid when grabbing the silver. It didn’t really work out for him last start over the 2040m trip and with a return to the mile from this gate where he will get an economical run, he can feature.

IM LOKI (10) would be better suited if drawn off the front, but his recent efforts have had enough merit for him to have podium claims, the latest when closing out in good order to be 4m away.

SUBTLE ADVICE (9) has placed at  his past two starts on The Triangle following a down the line effort here three starts back where he was asked to hang tough first over. Pressing through, he can place.

SUGGESTED BET: HIT THE TRACK (3) to win

RACE SIX

Placed at his past two starts, MISTER DIAMOND (6) might have found the conditions to capitalise here despite the wide gate. Sent forward in the early stages from gate 4 last time before opting for cover, he was 4m adrift of the winner HES PERFECTLY IDEAL. His early speed can come into play.

HES PERFECTLY IDEAL (7) has a 2m 2nd three starts back the mark stopping his form card from reading as four successive victories. Working to the front last start from gate 5, he controlled the tempo to take them all the way over the 2138m journey. The gate stings chasing the threepeat.

SAILALONG SINBAD (1) was sent to the post as fav last start in the Marburg to Albion Final but had his chances quashed when striking trouble in the run. This it a tougher contest offset by the good alley.

SUGGESTED BET:  MISTER DIAMOND (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

It was a double shot last start when making it two wins in the week and BOURBONONTHEROCKS (5) can look to make it a triple, bringing some smart figures from the mobile. Stepping safely from the front last start prior to releasing, he had too much closing speed for a 5m margin. The threepeat is on.

RIGONDEAUX (7) was sent forward from the 20m tape last start, finding the front and looking to fight off the challengers. With no answer to the closing speed of BOURBONONTHEROCKS, he had to settle for the silver. Charging home to score here three starts back, he can throw it down here.

MILLY AN EYRE (4) has not been too far away in recent outings as she chases her first Qld victory, the latest when 3rd to BOURBONONTHEROCKS up the passing lane. Just a half-neck away two runs back, she has claims.

SUGGESTED BET: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (5) to win

has been runner-up in both starts since joining the Graham Dwyer stable, the latest when asked to do it the tough way from outside the leader. Finishing 8m adrift of the smart 2YO BRONSKI DELIGHT, it followed a swooping half-neck margin after retreating from gate 7. This looks within reach.

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (1) darted across from gate 4 to take control over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start and once in control was able to see it out on the heavy track. Just a neck in arrears of the winner two runs back, she lands all the options to chase down her first win here at The Creek.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (8) rolled forward from gate 5 last start and content to sit parked was too strong in claiming a career PB victory. In the money at his past seven in succession, he will be probing for openings.

PRESS STATEMENT (5) started from gate 6 last start where he was taken back off the gate to settle in the running line. Caught in traffic and never getting a crack at them, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (2), WONDERWOMAN JUJON (1), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (8), PRESS STATEMENT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HARRIS HAWK (2) to win
