RACE ONE

PAYOUT (3)
started from the second line at Redcliffe on Thursday and was angled to the poles to look for a shorter way home. Chasing hard as RAINBOW CLASSIC secured an unlikely victory, he has been to the track on 22 occasions in search of the maiden breaker and pressing forward here might just get the chance.

BEE GEES BEST (8) has been a work in progress in searching for the key to unlock his ability. An improve effort last time when chasing NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE, a trip to the grass might just go one of two ways. Pressing through can secure him the right position to issue a challenge.

EAGLES RESPONSE (6) cops the wide gate but is the only runner that can bring a win in their past 5 on the form card. Grabbing 3rd behind the in-form CLARES FOOL on Thursday at Redcliffe, she is right in this.

MONTANA ONE (2) will take added benefit from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Placed once in ten career starts, he was buried away last start and is a podium chance here.

SELECTIONS: PAYOUT (3), BEE GEES BEST (8), EAGLES RESPONSE (6), MONTANA ONE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

WEASEL (2) will be taking his first look at the track and comes up with the right set up to chase down another chapter in his career. Just 1m from the winner four runs back when burrowing through to take control, it followed a similar margin the start prior. He can look to keep them wide and rolling in front can see it out.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (5) will take further benefit from her latest appearance where she was second up from a brief let up. Asked to work hard when returning over the 1780m at Redcliffe, she was then buried last time from inside the second line. Limiting the work aids her challenging chances.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (7) held the pocket trail from inside the second line at Redcliffe three starts back and held on for the bronze. Not suited last start when parked, an inside trip gives her podium hopes.

PAGEANTRY (6) is 1 from 1 here on the Kilcoy kikuyu, which was also the last time he tasted success. Hanging tough for the bronze two runs back, he was 5m from the winner last time and can feature despite the wide gate.

SELECTIONS: WEASEL (2), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (5), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (7), PAGEANTRY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WEASEL (2) to win

RACE THREE

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8)
was sent forward to sit parked last time out and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages to be in the second half of the pack. A wide gate dented his hopes at Marburg two runs back where he was strong to the line in the closing stages, with the right trail through early aiding his chances here.

FLY CHEVAL (6) tackled tougher opposition on Thursday at Redcliffe where she was taken to the rear and rom back in the pack never warmed up as PUPPLE SHADES took the prize. A Marburg winner two starts back when overcoming the outside second line, she can look to make a challenge here.

MANOFLISA (7) was a winner on The Triangle four starts back when easing back early before making a wide and sustained run in claiming a 3m margin. A tough effort followed when parked out and with an economical trip here can be probing for the openings.

OUR DOLLY (4) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when sent forward to get outside the leader. Fighting hard in the run, she was just 3m from the winner BERTILS FIREFOX who haas since cashed-in again.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8), FLY CHEVAL (6), MANOFLISA (7), OUR DOLLY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8) to win

RACE FOUR

HARRY CROFT (1)
had been racing in good order with placings in 4 of his previous 5 starts, including a tough second at The Creek when sitting parked. Stepping out at Redcliffe on Thursday, he was far from his best when finishing down the line behind the passing lane winner BELLA GODIVA. Forgiving that run, from gate 1 he can gain redemption.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (5) eased away from the poles last time out to find the 1x1 trail when finishing midfield after chasing the flying CLARES FOOL. A Marburg winner two starts back when overcoming the second line and finishing best down the centre of the track, he can throw it down here.

MAN OF ACTION (4) eased across from gate 4 to find the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe and with the good trip had the speed to drop on them and take a drought breaking victory. Winning confidence can help his chances here.

TELL ME THIS (8) was required to step up into a tougher contest last start at Redcliffe off the back of a maiden breaking win just two runs back. The second line does not help but he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: HARRY CROFT (1), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (5), MAN OF ACTION (4), TELL ME THIS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HARRY CROFT (1) to win

RACE FIVE

MALINJANG (1)
should tighten from his run on Wednesday night where he was second up from a spell. Resuming from outside the second line, he never got warm over the closing stages behind subsequent winner OYSTER STRIDE. Second up he set the tempo from gate 1, just fading in the closing stages. He lands the gate to dictate.

WHAT A JOLT (5) tackled a tough contest last start at Redcliffe where he did his share of work in the early stages before fading late. Tackling a qualifier two starts back when down the line in quick time as GOOD AS IT GETS took the prize, his effort three back appeals for this type of contest.

GOLDEN LACE (4) is on the back-up from Friday night at headquarters where she looked a solid chance from a handy gate. Two starts back she was eased from gate 5 and tried to make ground late when 11m from HES PERFECTLY IDEAL. Settling handy, she looks in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MALINJANG (1), WHAT A JOLT (5), GOLDEN LACE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MALINJANG (1) to win

RACE SIX

TEAGAN BANNER (6)
settled in the 1x1 trail last start and trying to launch a closing raid was just a half-neck from the winner. A beaten fav the start prior in a qualifier when subsequent winner WHATA ROLLER got past him, three back he was just a neck in arrears of the airborne ONE BIG SHEW. Despite the gate he can throw it down here.

KANYE CRUSADER (4) started from the second line at Redcliffe on Thursday and never warmed up over the closing stages when finishing over 20m from the winner BE MY ROCK. Two starts back he was sent to the post as the favourite when finding the 1x1 trail and pulling clear to claim an 8m margin. Sectionally strong leading into that win, he can throw it down here.

ONE LAST ROLL (2) laid out a career PB two starts back when sent to the front over the AP mile and stopping the clock in a 1.52.8 rate. Sent to the front last start, he could not see it out when holding 4th as the smart FUTURE ASSURED charged on by. First to the poles here opens the options.

MAJORDOIT (5) takes his first look at Kilcoy but has raced on the grass at Warwick previously. Just 6m away from KEY LARGO last start despite carrying a flat tyre, his run two back behind JUMPING JACK JIMMY had merit and he can make a play in this.

SELECTIONS: TEAGAN BANNER (6), KANYE CRUSADER (4), ONE LAST ROLL (2), MAJORDOIT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TEAGAN BANNER (6) to win
