RACE ONE

WOODLEA DIEGO (3) is one for one at this track, that win coming three starts back when leading throughout in the inaugural Western Star. Holding them wide from gate 1 to take them all the way, he then held on for 3rd in the JC McMullen at his next start behind the gun BETTOR ISOLATE. Freshened since his last start, he can fire out to dictate.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (5) is flying at present with two wins and two minors in her past five outings. Sent forward to take control over the AP 2138m last time out, she kept them rolling and held on to claim a 2m margin in a new PB of 55 flat, a slick effort over the middle trip. The wide gate stings but she cannot be underestimated.

LOCHIEL (7) has had no luck in landing a marble with his past five starts showing two attempts from outside the front line and three from the second line. He faces another tricky gate here, but the smaller field and tempo aid his chances.

MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (4) is a three-time winner on this deck and brings a victory at Albion Park two starts back where he was able to lead all the way at the mile. Limiting the early burn will be key to his chances.

SELECTIONS: WOODLEA DIEGO (3), MOLLIESMARYELLE (5), LOCHIEL (7), MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WOODLEA DIEGO (3) to win

RACE TWO

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7) has had plenty of opportunities to open a winning account on this deck but has come up short in his 19 visits. Releasing the front last start after crossing down from gate 3, he was buried the start prior from inside the second line. Trailing through, he finds conditions to arrive.

LIVING FREE (3) hits the board at 50% at this track, landing in the money in 24 of his 45 outings here. A beaten fav last start after setting the tempo and fading in the stretch, he placed at his previous 3 in succession. He can fire some early bullets from this gate and be looking to throw it down.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (2) held the front early from gate 1 last time out before taking the trail and holding on for the bronze behind CLARES FOOL. With a similar trip, she can chime in again.

LITTLEDEE (6) is on the back-up from Friday night where she looked to have found a chance to land in the money. A Redcliffe winner three starts back, she will be searching for a way clear from this gate.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7), LIVING FREE (3), VALKYRIE HANOVER (2), LITTLEDEE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7) to win

RACE THREE

ALTANA BLUE (2)
is a three-time winner here at The Little M and has been racing in nice touch in recent outings. Powering home in the closing stages to score at Redcliffe four runs back after starting from gate 5, his next two were in much tougher company at headquarters. He has the gate to dictate.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1) will need to hustle off the arm to hold the front and if he were to keep them wide, he is a real chance of taking them all the way. Still a big player from the trail, he has placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, the past two from the second line. He will be burrowing early.

ZARAS A TREASURE (5) takes her first look at this track and presents a form card showing a last start victory. Taking them all the way over the Redcliffe 2040m last time, the gate does her no favours.

GELDOF (7) is on the back-up from Thursday where he was sent forward in the early stages from the second line to sit parked. In a gritty performance, he was just a tally-ho short of victory in a strong closing panel.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (2), CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1), ZARAS A TREASURE (5), GELDOF (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE FOUR

SUNDOWNER SHANNON (7)
was sent around the field in the early stages last time out from the second line to sit parked when fighting on for the silver behind subsequent winner DUKE. Showing early hustle two starts back, he has shown steady improvement and strikes a winnable contest here.

TOOLITTLETOOLATE (1) started from this gate at this trip three starts back where he had the hustle to hold them wide. Looking to take them all the way, it was only a sweeping JOY MAKER that got past as he held 2nd. Tackling tougher contests at his past two, these conditions give him a challenging hope.

THE MACH ARMY (3) was first up for the new stable last start at Redcliffe where he was well supported to run favourite from inside the second line. Buried in the run, he should appreciate a return to the front line.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (9) burrowed through from gate 1 last start to set the speed but was unable to last, finishing 5m from the swooping winner. The gate does him no favours, but he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SUNDOWNER SHANNON (7), TOOLITTLETOOLATE (1), THE MACH ARMY (3), DOOLITTLE DANDY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNDOWNER SHANNON (7) to win

RACE FIVE

BELLA GODIVA (6)
has had one previous visit to this track where she was 3rd, beaten 7m from the 1x1 trail. That was five runs back and since that run, he has claimed a pair of wins and a 2nd in three attempts at Redcliffe before gate 7 was her undoing last start at The Creek. The gate is tricky, but a gap can arrive for her to capitalise.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (8) was sent out the punters elect last time out on The Triangle from gate 4. Moving forward to sit parked, he was unable to see it out as he faded to the rear of the pack. Just a half-head away the start prior after setting the tempo, he can look to make a closing challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (9) has been in nice touch of late and brings a Redcliffe win two starts back to his form card when grafting out a determined first over victory. He may be working at some stage but won’t shirk the task.

ALLY PINK (1) has not been seen since mid-July and features in a stable switch, joining the Ryan Veivers team. With good early speed, she stays under watch first up.

SELECTIONS: BELLA GODIVA (6), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (8), CIRCLE LINE (9), ALLY PINK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BELLA GODIVA (6) to win

RACE SIX

JOY MAKER (4)
started from outside the second line here four starts back and despite the tough gate was able to make a late challenge and pull clear to claim a 10m margin. Placed at her next start, she was again in the money last time at Redcliffe when just 2m away. With the right trip, she can arrive.

LA PISTOLA (1) does his best work when finding the poles and from this alley he can look to burrow through to keep them wide. Approaching full fitness after four runs back from a spell, they were out of reach last start but with the improved gate, he will get his chance to issue a challenge.

MAJOR SLIP UP (7) was making a wide move last time out but could not reel them in as he finished nearer the rear as MY SECRET BEACH took the prize. Doing plenty of work wide off the track two starts back, his record here is solid.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2) is on the back-up from Friday night at headquarters which should not be an issue for the 275-start veteran. Settling handy from this alley can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: JOY MAKER (4), LA PISTOLA (1), MAJOR SLIP UP (7), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  JOY MAKER (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

STUDLEIGH MARK (6)
will be needing some luck to find open space from this alley but if the gap should present, he will be tough to hold out. Collared in the stretch at Redcliffe two starts back when trying to take them all the way, his record here is strong, and he just needs the opening.

SCHOOBY (1) returns from a freshen after fading as the favourite last start at Redcliffe to be near the tail. Beaten an eyelash two starts back, he placed in both starts prior to that and after going on a seven-run winning streak, the freshen and from this gate gives him the chance to challenge.

MISS MIA (2) is a four-time winner here and took victory here four starts back when finding the front and repelling the challengers throughout. A passing lane 3rd last start at Redcliffe, she has claims.

SHADYS DELIGHT (3) has been freshened since his last appearance when down the line at Redcliffe from a second line gate. Just 5m away two starts back, he can be closer to the action to chime in.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH MARK (6), SCHOOBY (1), MISS MIA (2), SHADYS DELIGHT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH MARK (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

BULLDOG BRAWLER (3)
pressed on to sit parked from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last time out and despite the tough trip, was still giving in the stretch to be just 4m in arrears. Runner-up to HES PERFECTLY IDEAL two starts back, his record here at the Little M is solid with 2 wins and 7 minors in 11 attempts.

THE MAHARANI (5) is one from one here on this deck and lines up looking to go back-to-back after a dominant Redcliffe victory last time out. Taking control from gate 2, she was never in danger, pulling clear to take an 11m margin. Runner-up in both prior starts, she will be throwing it down.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (2) is a five-time winner on this deck and should be handy to the action from this alley. Making good ground from the second line two runs back, he is a podium hope.

SAILALONG SINBAD (8) settled back in the running line last start when chasing home the flying MOLLIESMARYELLE. Just 5m away at Redcliffe two starts back despite copping a chequered trip, he can join in.

SELECTIONS: BULLDOG BRAWLER (3), THE MAHARANI (5), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (2), SAILALONG SINBAD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BULLDOG BRAWLER (3) to win

RACE NINE

DOLLARBILL (8)
ha been freshened since his last appearance where he faded over the closing stages after being sent forward and forced to work hard in the run. A winner three starts back when powering home in the closing stages, he can make a mid-race move to get into the battle.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (9) chassed home the in-form mare MOLLIESMARYELLE last time out over the AP 2138m, running her to 2m in holding on for the silver. A winner from the trail two starts back at headquarters, he can get the right cart into the contest to challenge.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1) sat in the trail from gate 1 last start at Redcliffe where she was able to hold 3rd behind SHARP SHOOTER. Tackling a stronger AP mile two starts back, she his right in the fight.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (3) has been hitting good areas in recent outings with 3 wins from her past 4 and lines up here chasing the hat-trick. Taking them all the way on The Triangle last start, she is up to this.

SELECTIONS: DOLLARBILL (8), IMA BIRUBI BOY, WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1), SHEZALUCKYLADY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLARBILL (8) to win
