RACE ONE

RAINBOW CLASSIC (6) will need to overcome the outside front line gate but brings the best credentials to this wide-open maiden event. Finishing with the bronze at his past three in succession, he was wide off the track last start chasing SABOTAGE. Despite the wide gate, this might just be his chance to cash in.

FILLY THIRTEEN (7) placed on debut when sent out as favourite but her chances took a critical knock at the start when making an error. Resetting to hold on for the silver, she has been out of the money at each of her next three, the latest from outside the second line. If the gap can open, she is a challenging chance.

WHISKY BANDIT (5) is a 9YO having his first official race since February 2016 which was in his 3YO season where he ran 3rd under a handicapping scale that no longer exists. Competing in the Brisbane Show week where he claimed two wins, he stays under notice.

HURRIKANE MEL (2) should appreciate a return to the maiden ranks after being thrown in the deep end in the 4YO Mares Triad Final. From the gate she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: RAINBOW CLASSIC (6), FILLY THIRTEEN (7), WHISKY BANDIT (5), HURRIKANE MEL (2)
SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW CLASSIC (6) to win

RACE TWO

CALL ME TRISH (3) has been thereabouts in recent attempts, placing in 3 of her past 5 outings. Eased to the running line from gate 4 last start, she was making a closing raid when under 4m from the winner SHEZ GOT BLING to grab the silver. An improved gate and solid record on this deck are a big help.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (5) has been in nice touch with 2 wins in her past 4 starts, the latest when a tough effort from gate 6 after sent forward a the 1200m to sit parked and graft out the victory. Taking them all the way in her win four runs back, she finds conditions to throw down the challenge.

OFFICE BAD BOY (2) had gate 1 last start over the 1780m trip where he took the trail and was best of the chasers when 8m astern of TACTFILLY MIRACLE. Midfield the start prior, he can be handy enough to feature.

TRACER BULLET (6) backs up from Monday where he was required to roll the sleeves and grind it out first over. Hanging on for a gritty 3rd, it followed a peg line 2nd when chasing PRECIOUS CULLEN. The gate dents the hopes.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TRISH (3), HEAVENLY WISDOM (5), OFFICE BAD BOY (2), TRACER BULLET (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TRISH (3) to win

RACE THREE

SHEZ GOT BLING (4)
found the pocket trail last start and with the cosy trip behind the speed, had the closing power to arrive for a 4m margin. Snagged back from gate 5 over the sprint trip two starts back before charging home in the closing stages, she can be looking to descend on them.

SHADYS CULLECT (6) has no favours from the outside paint but might just appreciate this level of opponent. Asked to do it tough when parked last start in the 3YO Fillies Triad Consolation, she was game in defeat when holding 2nd, 4m from the winner. With 1 win and three minors on this deck, she can throw it down.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (2) set the speed last time out from gate 2 but was unable to see it out as HEAVNLY WISDOM worried her out of it last time. She has the early speed to find the pegs, however the middle trip asks some questions she may not have the answers to.

BETTING BARON (8) has started from the second line at his past two in succession, the latest when working home wide off the track as SHEZALUCKYLADY controlled in front. He has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ GOT BLING (4), SHADYS CULLECT (6), IM A CLASSY GIRL (2), BETTING BARON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ GOT BLING (4) to win

RACE FOUR

FLASH FREDDIE (7)
will need some factors in his favour from this gate, but with the right set up that can eventuate. Banished to the trials owing to an error last start, he has been back to earn the return with a smart piece of work. A passing lane 2nd to IM THE BOUNTY HUNTER here three starts back, he can be sniping.

FEELGOOD EXPRESS (8) lands another second line alley after coming from the back line at her previous two. Sent forward early to sit parked from this gate last start, she was grafting it out when finishing 6m from the winner. Wide in the closing stages two starts back when grabbing 2nd and finishing under 3m from the winner, she can issue a challenge in this line up.

DUKE (5) will take further benefit from his outing here last start where he was third up from a spell. Overcoming gate 9 to charge home over the top and take a 6m victory, he is in the mix again here.

CHASIN DREAMZ (6) was returning from a freshen last start when eased to the running line from gate 5. Never finding clear space when under 6m from the winner, her form prior to the let up was career best and she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: FLASH FREDDIE (7), FEELGOOD EXPRESS (8), DUKE (5), CHASIN DREAMZ (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FLASH FREDDIE (7) to win

RACE FIVE

JOEY LINCOLN (7)
is in a rich vein of form after claiming victory at 5 of his past 7 appearances. Shooting for the hat-trick, he toyed with his opponents here last week, pulling clear to take a 24m margin. That followed an effortless victory despite sitting parked the last lap two runs back. The threepeat is on.

ITS SUPER EASY (1) could not go with them in the closing stages last start and trailed the field home over this trip where he was first up in six weeks. Off the second line two starts back and making closing metres when 4m from the winner JILLIIBY JACKPOT, he will strip fitter and with all the options from this alley can throw it down.

HES SWEET (2) has been given a let up since his last appearance when chasing from the second line behind MR IBIZA over the AP mile. Just a neck away the start prior, he can be handy enough to feature fresh.

LANOCH BOY (9) has hit the board at his past six in succession which includes a win three starts back. Charging home wide out last start when getting within a head of victory, he can be swooping late here.

SELECTIONS: JOEY LINCOLN (7), ITS SUPER EASY (1), HES SWEET (2), LANOCH BOY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JOEY LINCOLN (7) to win

RACE SIX

PRECIOUS CULLEN (2)
ended a winning drought last start when capitalising from gate 1. Darting through to hold them wide, he controlled the tempo before pulling clear for an effortless 9m margin. Not too far away the start prior, he has the gate to dictate with some winning confidence to help.

FAIREACHDAINN (7) started from gate 1 three runs back and with the easy trip in behind, had the power to dart up the passing lane to score. Wider gates have hampered at her chances at her past two starts and with the economical trip, will be probing for the openings.

COPY WRITER (1) tackled the 3YO fillies Triad Consolation last start where she was buried away against the poles and made some late metres for 3rd. This will be tougher, but the gate is a big help.

VOODOO FELLA (5) has been runner-up in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest over this trip when buried from inside the second line and the best of the chasers behind the dominant JOEY LINCOLN. He can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: PRECIOUS CULLEN (2), FAIREACHDAINN (7), COPY WRITER (1), VOODOO FELLA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: PRECIOUS CULLEN (2) to win
