RACE ONE

IMA BIRUBI BOY (4) was beaten by a wide gate over the 2138m last start at The Creek when down the line as THE MAHARANI capitalised. Grabbing the silver behind the MOLLIESMARYELLE three starts back, he faces a sticky gate but can roll forward to make his play.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (6) is hunting his first win of the season and drops into the Monday ranks trying to reel one in. Asked to hang tough first over last start, he faded in the closing stages as OYSTER STRIDE charged over the top to score. 3rd to BRIDGE COIN at headquarters three runs back, he can defy the gate to throw it down.

MYSTICAL JAZZ (8) is a 3YO filly having her first Qld appearance for the Graham Dwyer stable. A Tamworth winner two starts back, she stays under notice from this alley.

MALINJANG (5) was second up from a spell at Kilcoy last start when trying to dictate but grabbed in the closing stages to finish with the silver behind GOLDEN LACE. The gate hurts for this.

SELECTIONS: IMA BIRUBI BOY (4), IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (6), MYSTICAL JAZZ (8), MALINJANG (5)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA BIRUBI BOY (4) to win

RACE TWO

HANDSOME HARRY (2) was a winner here three starts back when making a sustained run over the closing stages after retreating early from gate 6. Strong to the line at his next outing for the silver, he wilted last start but forgiven for that can be looking to turn it all around in this.

JANG PEL (1) has started from this gate at his past two starts, the latest when eased out into the running line and chasing for a midfield finish behind MOTU AMETHYST. This looks easier than his past couple and with the right trip in behind the speed can issue the challenge.

CHUMP CHOP (5) did it the tough way here three starts back when sitting parked and hanging in for the bronze. Campaigning at the Show following that run, he has been off the second line at his past two.

ROLLONX (3) tackled the grass at Kilcoy last start and after setting rearward as the race favourite, made some nice metres to finish 8m from the winner. Settling handy, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: HANDSOME HARRY (2), JANG PEL (1), CHUMP CHOP (5), ROLLONX (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HANDSOME HARRY (2) to win

RACE THREE

CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7)
cops no favours from this gate and might be looking to ease back soon after the start to avoid a pole pocket. Charging off the arm to find the front over the AP mile from gate 7 two starts back, he scored in good style and grabbed a bronze last start. Will need some factors in his favour.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (5) was chasing down four successive wins last time out in the Marburg to Albion Final when angled to the poles from a second line gate to chase the shortcuts. Making good metres in the closing stages to grab the bronze when 2m from the winner, she can challenge here.

TRACER BULLET (3) might be required to do some work in the run here from this gate with some speed to his inside. He can do it tough to chime in and has placed in four of his past five.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (8) is on the back-up from Friday night at The Creek where he looked a podium player in the hope of extending his strong form card that had shown 4 wins and 3 minors in his previous 7. He is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7), SHEZALUCKYLADY (5), TRACER BULLET (3), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7) to win

RACE FOUR

MI FURIOSO TORO (1)
has the 1 win and 3 minors from his 8 starts at this track but comes up with the ideal gate to utilise his early speed and free-wheeling pattern. Tightened from his latest outing when resuming from a spell and midfield from gate 7 over the AP mile, this looks ideal.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (8) returned from a spell here last time out when starting from gate 9 and making a late charge wide off the track to finish midfield but a long way from the winner. Runner-up at her last run before the break, the tempo should be strong here for her to be closing out.

ONLYSBEST (2) was having his third run back from a spell here on Thursday when finishing powerfully in the closing stages to claim a narrow victory in a blanket finish. His second up run had merit and with good early speed he might be able to squeeze in behind the leader.

THE IRISH EAGLE (4) was a winner here six starts back when settling in the running line and powering over the top. All five since have been at headquarters and back to The Triangle he can feature.

SELECTIONS: MI FURIOSO TORO (1), DELIGHTFUL REASON (8), ONLYSBEST (2), THE IRISH EAGLE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MI FURIOSO TORO (1) to win

RACE FIVE

ELPINE SALLY (3)
has been in consistent touch of late, hitting the board at her past five in succession. Wide off the track last start, she loomed strongly only for ITSMEGS to rally and defy the challenge. With good speed off the arm, she can find position and gets her chance to capitalise.

LORD DENZEL (4) scored here last start when firing out from gate 2 to take them all the way. Building to that victory after finishing as the runner-up at his previous three in succession, he can press forward again to issue the challenge.

TOOLITTLETOOLATE (2) will appreciate the options on offer by moving into gate 1 after finishing midfield last start from gate 5 over the AP mile. Leading them up at Marburg two back, he has claims.

ABBEY DIADEMA (5) drops back to Monday night company after finding the line in nice order last time out when 5m astern of the winner BE ON THE SLY to claim 2nd. She can chime in again here.

SELECTIONS: ELPINE SALLY (3), LORD DENZEL (4), TOOLITTLETOOLATE (2), ABBEY DIADEMA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ELPINE SALLY (3) to win

RACE SIX

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1)
burrowed through from this same gate on Thursday to hold the front before releasing after 600m when the pressure built. Fading out from the trail, to be near the rear, that had followed a handy effort at headquarters. With less pressure, she can see this out.

JUKEBOX JET (7) was beaten by the wide gate last start when eased to secure position and then finding himself too far back to mount a play. Runner-up in both starts prior, including a half-neck margin behind FEEL THE THRILL. If he finds a gap with momentum, he can issue the challenge.

RISKY BUZINESS (8) was luckless last start when buried in the run and no gaps appeared in time. Runner-up two back when doing it tough first over, he can be making a play in this line up.

MAN OF ACTION (4) was a winner here two starts back when easing from this same gate to find the running line before sweeping home over the top to score. With the right trip he is right in this.

SELECTIONS: NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1), JUKEBOX JET (7), RISKY BUZINESS (8), MAN OF ACTION (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

IMA CHICK MAGNET (1)
has the lone win to his name which came on this deck over 12 months ago. Not suited last start at the 2040m trip when eased early before trying to make a play, he has the gate to burrow through and should appreciate this grade to end the drought.

GULMARG (3) is still chasing a 3YO victory after his lone win came last season. Yet to hit the board in 9 attempts for the term, this is the easiest battle he has found, chasing home behind better performed horses in recent starts. Conditions are right for him to issue the challenge.

FLASH FREDDIE (2) eased from a wide gate before making a wide run over the closing stages as BERTILS FIREFOX cashed in. Midfield two starts back, he can be close enough to feature.

MY GIRL BLAZE (7) secured the ideal trip behind the leader two starts back and was able to breakthrough to open the win account. Outclassed on Thursday, the gate and conditions are better.

SELECTIONS: IMA CHICK MAGNET (1), GULMARG (3), FLASH FREDDIE (2), MY GIRL BLAZE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA CHICK MAGNET (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

WILD ABOUT TOWN (2)
took the trail from gate 1 over the AP mile last time out and was down the line as ITSMEGS flashed down the centre of the track to score. Fading after trying to take them all the way two starts back, a return to The Triangle from this gate looks firmly in his favour.

MANY DELIGHTS (3) struck trouble last start to make it tough and he trailed the field home. Asked to roll the sleeves and do the tough stuff two starts back, he didn’t shirk the task and only faded in the latter stages. He may need to do it tough again here but will be ready to throw it down.

BEIDERBECKE (8) is chasing his first cheque here at Redcliffe after finishing down the line in both appearances. A smart 2nd when working home wide out at Marburg three back, he can chime in here.

JILLIBY GIZMO (7) will be needing a slice of luck to see some open space at some stage as he appears in danger of being buried in the run. A beaten fav in a tougher race last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (2), MANY DELIGHTS (3), BEIDERBECKE (8), JILLIBY GIZMO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WILD ABOUT TOWN (2) to win
