RACE ONE

Resuming from a spell against the older horses, YOU NO ILL BE LATE (1) started deep into the red but made an error that ended his chances. Bouncing back with victory here last week in the Springboard Series where he shattered the age record for the trip, he looks hard to stop.

PARIS KAY (2) made an error last time out and her chances ended in the process as she finished near the tail of the field. Shooting for a hat-trick of victories in that contest, she claimed the age record for the 1660 mobile three back before scoring off 40m two back. She looms as the only real threat.

CONFISCATED (4) made an error at his first run back in Qld and then chimed in last time for the silver behind PARIS KAY. He can grab one of the minor prizes.

SHEZA CHANCE (3) has made errors in both runs since resuming from a spell. This looks tough.

SELECTIONS: YOU NO ILL BE LATE (1), PARIS KAY (2), CONFISCATED (4), SHEZA CHANCE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Trifecta 1-2-4

RACE TWO

After two runs to his name and showing good improvement along the way, QUEENSLANDER (1) can be the call here. Starting from inside the second line on debut, he was back in the pack and then last start was asked to work hard when parked. Still with a bit to learn, the gate is a big help.

LUCKY JIM (5) returns from a spell after two starts earlier in the season where he was at the tail of the field on both occasions. Starting from gate 6 in both of those appearances, the spell might have been beneficial as he looked sharper in a recent trial, and he stays under notice fresh.

WANDARY DELIGHT (2) has placed in 3 of her 6 career starts as she chases the maiden breaker. Working hard in the run at Redcliffe last start, she can settle close enough to feature.

GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (3) is a Hurrikane Kingcole filly on debut for Ryan Veivers. Showing good speed off the arm in her qualifying trial, she has the gate to be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: QUEENSLANDER (1), LUCKY JIM (5), WANDARY DELIGHT (2), GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: QUEENSLANDER (1) to win

RACE THREE

Starting wide out in last week’s Springboard Final, RAZZLEME DAZZLME (4) was again slowly away as he has been each time this season. Once stoked up and sent forward, he showed his power, took control at the 1000m and went on to claim an 11m margin with another 30m back to 3rd. Its hard to see any real difference to the top numbers from the Springboard Series for this QBRED contest.

WEWILLSEEHOWWEGO (1) started fav in the Springboard Final last week and after stepping cleanly to the front, released with 1000m to travel. Looking a threat to eventual winner RAZZLEME DAZZLEME, he jumped it off right as he was about to offer. Maintaining gait, he looms large.

KENETURIO (2) looked all set to hold on for 3rd here last week but took advantage of WEWILLSEEHOWWEGO breaking gait and grabbed the silver. She will be thereabouts once again.

YSMIR (6) has been a model of consistency, placing in all three runs since breaking her maiden tag four runs back. A long way from the winner in holding 3rd last week, she can be chasing hard.

SELECTIONS: RAZZLEME DAZZLME (4), WEWILLSEEHOWWEGO (1), KENETURIO (2), YSMIR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RAZZLEME DAZZLME (4) to win

RACE FOUR

First up since crossing the Tasman to join the Narissa McMullen stable, MONARO MAKO (4) finds a winnable contest fresh up from a spell. Coming into this battle with a trial from behind the tapes on this deck, it was a tidy hit out, stepping cleanly and then kept on a helmet up the stretch.

KENNY KEKO (9) was sent to the post as the favourite here last time out where she was asked to sit parked over the long trip and faded in the closing stages. 2m from astern when 3rd two starts back from the mobile, she was strong to the line when beaten a neck three back and can challenge here.

MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2) was having her first start in Qld here last week and made an error that put her out of play. The winner of just one race, she is giving away experience here, but can feature.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) was clean off the tapes last start and tried to lead throughout but was collared in the closing strides. AS the only runner off the front, she can give cheek again.

SELECTIONS: MONARO MAKO (4), KENNY KEKO (9), MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Really starting to put it all together and find good rhythm in recent attempts, KAR MANOR (6) should appreciate this after a narrow 2nd here on Saturday night. Looming up to hit the front, it was only RED CASTLETON that was able to get past him up the stretch and he can go one better here.

THE REAPER (1) does his best work when he is up near the front and from this alley should secure the set up to match his pattern with good starting manners. Finding the line smartly to grab 3rd two starts back, he faded after sitting parked on Friday from the mobile. He has the chance to challenge.

SUGARINSPICE (9) is chasing down a hat-trick of victories after going back-to-back since returning from a lengthy spell. Taking cover after a safe getaway last time, the threepeat is within reach.

RIGONDEAUX (4) capitalised from the mobile here on Friday, settling in the running line before moving wider and charging home over the top. Consistency is his Achilles heel at present.

SELECTIONS: KAR MANOR (6), THE REAPER (1), SUGARINSPICE (9), RIGONDEAUX (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KAR MANOR (6) to win

RACE SIX

Yet to miss the top-two in five attempts here at The Creek, BETTORS HOPE (9) looks to enjoy the right trip to add another victory to the form card. Looking at taking them all the way last start, he was collared after starting deep into the red. Charging home to a big 14m win the start prior, he looks the one.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (2) has placed at his past four in succession, the latest when some metres from the winner in holding 3rd after being sent forward from gate 6 to set the tempo. Releasing when 3rd to ITZ CHEROKEE JACK two runs back, he can fire across to the pegs early to issue the challenge.

FAST TRACKER (5) has been runner-up at his past three in succession the past two where the margin has been a nose and then a half-head. Doing it tough last start first over, he is in the mix again.

CHAINLINC (7) has the wide gate owing to her own starting manners and was able to defy the impediment here last week. Eased back, she motored home for a narrow win and can repeat.

SELECTIONS: BETTORS HOPE (9), LITTLELIONELJAMES (2), FAST TRACKER (5), CHAINLINC (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  BETTORS HOPE (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

Yet to taste defeat this campaign in four attempts, TARGARYEN (6) faces a tricky gate but comes into this battle full of confidence. Content to sit parked last time over the 2138m, he pulled clear in the closing stages to take a 7m margin. With plenty of front-line speed, he might be kept for one shot, but either way is in the zone.

HY VOLTAGE (4) was running them along out in front here last time out when starting a red figure fav. Leading every step bar, the one that counted as SO MUCH MORE sailed down the outside to land the prize, he has the speed to dart across and throw down the challenge.

PARKED IN HEAVEN (2) secured a mare’s qualifier last start when sent to the front and able to lead throughout to a 1m margin. Runner-up in that same grade the start prior, she is a podium player.

COPPERFIELD (8) swept home from back in the pack to land the prize last start after finishing runner-up to SAGINAW in a qualifier the start prior. Likely to be buried, he will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: TARGARYEN (6), HY VOLTAGE (4), PARKED IN HEAVEN (2), COPPERFIELD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TARGARYEN (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

Starting from inside the second line at her past two starts, a move to the front in this set up looks to favour SHEREACTS (1) bouncing back into winning form. Buried in the run last start, she never got a crack at them, which followed a 3rd to THE MAHARANI. She can burrow through and look to dictate.

EUGENIEN (2) was just 3m from the winner last start after starting from the second line when chasing hard as THE HARRIS HAWK clawed his way to victory. Down the line the start prior, it followed placings in her two runs back from a spell and from this gate she can challenge.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (8) has been kept fresh since her last appearance where she grabbed the bronze in the Triad Final behind MAGICAL MAYA. Placed in all three this prep, she will be probing.

BETTING ORIGIN (10) was sent around them from the second line last time out to sit parked and despite the tough trip was still fighting when 2m from the winner. He can make a play again here.

SELECTIONS: SHEREACTS (1), EUGENIEN (2), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (8), BETTING ORIGIN (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEREACTS (1) to win

RACE NINE

Making his first race outing since arriving in Qld, LYRICAL GENIUS (6) was last sighted at the races when resuming from a spell at Menangle back in August. Sent North to Shane Graham, he has had two local trials, where he has been kept quiet in each. A G1 winner four starts back, he stays under watch.

MUCH BETTOR (1) eased from gate 4 to secure position last start but then was chasing in vain as LOVE YOUR WORK carved out a big mile in front. Using the passing lane to grab 3rd to GLENLEDI BOY the start prior, he lands all the options from this alley to put in his claim for victory.

LE TISSIER (4) resumes from a spell after making an error at his last appearance back in April in a 90Final. Runner-up in both starts prior, he will improve off his efforts here.

KEAYANG MARVEN (7) faces another tough gate but has been copping some hard draws in recent outings. Not much was in his favour last start and with an even slice of luck, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: LYRICAL GENIUS (6), MUCH BETTOR (1), LE TISSIER (4), KEAYANG MARVEN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LYRICAL GENIUS (6) to win

RACE TEN

After two runs back from a spell MARETTI (1) looks ready and secures the gate to end a wining drought that has reached 18 months. Tackling this trip in both return runs, he was collared by KEY LARGO when first up and then was a neck away last time. He can look to light every lamp here.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (7) is the class runner, getting back to the old timers grade but facing the outside front line in the trade-off. At the rear behind NORTHVIEW HUSTLER and BLACKSADANCE in his past two appearances, he was an open grade winner five runs back and can throw it down here.

OUR MAJOR DAY (9) resumes from a spell without a public trial but has performed well fresh previously. A tough effort when 3m astern in this grade three runs back, he is a podium hope.

JUMPIMG JACK JIMMY (2) is on the back-up from Saturday night where he capitalised in front to take them all the way over the mile. Hitting nice areas recently, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MARETTI (1), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (7), OUR MAJOR DAY (9), JUMPIMG JACK JIMMY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MARETTI (1) to win
