RACE ONE

A small field of trotters to open the card where the only runner with any experience on this track looks to be facing a stern test. SONETTO (2) can look to capitalise off the front-line tape if she can bring the starting manners. They were on display six starts back when she stepped to the front over the AP 2138m to score. It all comes down to the start.

MILLY AN EYRE (5) has the most consistent form of any of her rivals but does have to overcome the 30m impost. On the back-up from Friday at The Creek where she looked a strong chance under mobile conditions to claim her first victory in Qld, she seems relatively safe off the tapes and if she can make up the deficit easily, this is well within reach.

SET ME FREE (4) turned a massive corner, beaten an average of greater than 50m her previous three starts with a well-supported victory last time  out over the 2138m. The lone runner from the 10m tape for this battle, the small field will be in her favour if she can repeat the last start effort.

SELECTIONS: SONETTO (2), MILLY AN EYRE (5), SET ME FREE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SONETTO (2) to win

RACE TWO

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2)
is a four-time winner here and has early speed to look for the front. His last win was back in late July here where he capitalised from gate 1 to dart through, keep them wide and take them all the way. Buried away last start, he can look to take them all the way.

SUNDOWNER SHANNON (4) has been runner-up in 2 of his 3 visits here to the Little M, the most recent of those three runs back wen sent forward mid-race from the second line to sit parked. Just a half-head from the winner, he can be pressing the issue from this gate to throw down the challenge.

LITTLEDEE (5) has placed at her past two starts at Albion Park, the latest when using the passing lane from the pocket trail to get within a neck of the winner. The gate stings but she is a place player.

TULHURST CUDDLES (3) was a Redcliffe winner two starts back when asked to graft it out and proving too strong in a slogging finish. A beaten fav last start, she will be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2), SUNDOWNER SHANNON (4), LITTLEDEE (5), TULHURST CUDDLES (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2) to win

RACE THREE

THE MACH ARMY (1)
was unable to hold the front from gate 1 at Redcliffe two starts back and from the trail held on for the silver when 2m from the winner. Beaten by a second line gate at headquarters at his next attempt, he can burrow through and look to dictate.

KIMMIK (6) will strip fitter again from her latest outing where she was second up from a spell. Fading after sitting behind the speed at Redcliffe, it followed a smart return to racing here two runs back when 5m from the winner FLY CHEVAL. Will be searching for the gaps to make a play.

ALLY PINK (3) eased from gate 6 on The Triangle last start but was able to slot into the running line when midfield to DOWNTOWN LUCCA. From the gate she can make an early challenge.

DALLAS COWGIRL (7) was angled to the poles from outside the second line at Redcliffe last start and was trying to make some late metres. With the right trip, she is a podium chance in this line up.

SELECTIONS: THE MACH ARMY (1), KIMMIK (6), ALLY PINK (3), DALLAS COWGIRL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE MACH ARMY (1) to win

RACE FOUR

ITSMEGS (7)
was chasing down a hat-trick of victories last start when asked to work hard from outside the front line at Redcliffe and fading after the tough trip. Spearing out to take them all the way two starts back, she is a two-time winner here and can bounce back with the right trip.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (3) started from gate 1 last start and was soon shuffled away before picking up some late metres to grab the bronze. 7m away the start prior when also hitting the minor step of the podium, he has a handy record at this venue and from the gate can be making a play.

BEYONSKI (1) was down the line at Redcliffe on Thursday after being shuffled back in the running line from gate 2. In danger of being buried here, she will be probing for gaps.

WHATA CHALLENGE (2) was a winner three starts back when charging home in the closing stages. Eased from gate 5 last time out, he was strong over the latter stages for the silver and can feature.

SELECTIONS: ITSMEGS (7), DOOLITTLE DANDY (3), BEYONSKI (1), WHATA CHALLENGE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ITSMEGS (7) to win

RACE FIVE

ALTANA BLUE (1)
steps up in grade but this could be the perfect case of map holding sway over class. Chasing down a hat-trick of victories after making it two wins in three days at Redcliffe on Thursday where he did it the tough way sitting parked, he can hustle off the arm to take the threepeat.

JUMPING JOLT (6) has one win in four attempts on this deck and looks set to be snookered away for this battle. Making some nice metres in the closing stages last time when 5m from the smart filly RACY ROXY, the start prior he was just 2m from EH EF EL. Being winless in over two years is concerning, but if a gap opens, he can challenge.

LUXURY LAD (2) has shown some more consistency in recent outings and backs up from an outing at headquarters on Friday. A winner there three starts back, he was runner-up at his next two and has the gate to feature.

GELDOF (5) rolled the sleeves to do the tough stuff on Thursday at Redcliffe when finishing 7m from the dictating winner LANOCH BOY. A starchy effort for the bronze two starts back, he will likely need to do it tough once again.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (1), JUMPING JOLT (6), LUXURY LAD (2), GELDOF (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

RANCHO MAN (7)
was a winner at The Creek three starts back from the pocket trail, taking his shot to land a 3m margin. Put away after his next start after starting from outside the second line at this trip, his return was a tidy effort over the AP mile. Stripping fitter, his record here is smart, and he can arrive.

JAZIAH (3) takes her first look at this surface and will be third up from a break. Darting through to hold the front last start from gate 1 on The Triangle, she faded in the latter stages to be 7m in arrears of the winner. Getting near the action from this alley can see her make a play.

SCHEU CREEK (8) is another that boasts some smart figures on this track with a top-three in 67% of is outings here. Strong to the line for the silver two starts back, he can be chiming in once again.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (4) has placed in 3 of her 5 outings here and line up after a smart effort last time out from outside the front line at Redcliffe. Just a half-head away on that occasion, she is a podium hope in this.

SELECTIONS: RANCHO MAN (7), JAZIAH (3), SCHEU CREEK (8), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  RANCHO MAN (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

STUDLEIGH MARK (3)
darted off the arm at Redcliffe on Thursday from gate 4 before releasing for the trail. Hitting the lane with some stalling momentum behind a tiring leader, he was able to grab the bronze. He can light the fuse here and with solid numbers on this deck look to dictate.

MACH TORQUE (1) secured the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe and was trying to make late metres when finishing midfield behind COURAGEOUS SAM. Not too far from the winner CHARLEVOIX two runs back, she can secure the ideal trip here and be searching for the openings to challenge.

ARTISTIC SAINT (6) is a last start winner after sweeping over the top to claim the prize at Redcliffe. Needing some luck and gaps to open here where he looks in danger of being locked away, place claims look his hope.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (9) was a winner at Redcliffe two starts back where he was able to fire off the arm from gate 4, take control and pull clear for an effortless win. The gate means he will be wide at some point, but he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH MARK (3), MACH TORQUE (1), ARTISTIC SAINT (6), IMA BIRUBI BOY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH MARK (3) to win
