RACE ONE

ZARAS A TREASURE (2) was on the drop back to Monday company here last week and after finding the front, released for the trail and via the passing lane was under 3m from the winner SHEZ NOTORIOUS. Handing over at the 2040m two starts back, limiting the early burn can see her arrive.

ALTANA BLUE (9) was heavily supported into favouritism last start from gate 4 and after being sent to sit parked, was game in defeat when only a half-neck from the winner. Runner-up at Marburg three back when never spotting a gap to make a challenge, he can be powering up here.

MISSTREPO (8) was due to tackle a mare’s qualifier last start when scratched on track. Runner-up her previous two starts which followed a victory from gate 5, she looms large in this contest.

WHAT A JOLT (1) isn’t too far off putting it back together as he sits in the middle of a win drought that is approaching 5 years. Freshened since his last appearance where he wilted, the gate is a plus.

SELECTIONS: ZARAS A TREASURE (2), ALTANA BLUE (9), MISSTREPO (8), WHAT A JOLT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ZARAS A TREASURE (2) to win

RACE TWO

LUXURY LAD (5) looks to have found conditions for a breakthrough after being eyeballed last start in front. That led to a 1.55.4 rate to the winner, after he faded in the closing stages. A gritty 3rd at The Creek two back when parked, he was a slick winner at Marburg three back and has this in his sights.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (7) will be needing a slice of luck at some stage from this gate, but if the gaps open, he is more than up to the task. Only 3m away last start after sitting parked through a strong last 800m, he will be searching for a way clear to throw down the challenge.

SAILALONG SINBAD (8) was a winner here three starts back when working home wide off the track to take the prize. Against the tempo last start from gate 5 over the 2040m, he can trial through to feature.

COURAGEOUS LEO (1) should appreciate a return to the front line after facing second line barriers in his past two starts. Making some closing ground wide out last time, he can be probing here.

SELECTIONS: LUXURY LAD (5), IMA BIRUBI BOY (7), SAILALONG SINBAD (8), COURAGEOUS LEO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LUXURY LAD (5) to win

RACE THREE

ARTISTIC SAINT (1)
could not get warm in the closing stages last start when midfield behind MYSTICAL JAZZ. Two starts back over the AP mile, he found them a little too slick, but he should appreciate the set up that evolves here. From the gate he gets every chance to land the prize.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (9) should appreciate this grade of contest after his latest effort when finishing 8m from ALLAAMBIE. Under 2m from the winner two starts back, he can be chiming in.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (4) tried to take them all the way last start at the 2040 and was able to pinch a steady opening half. Unable to repel CANT BLUFF YOU in holding silver, he has podium claims again.

SWEET JASMINE (2) eased from gate 4 last time to find position and was able to grab the bronze in the same contest that ARTISTIC SAINT competed in. Placed in 3 of her past 5, she can add another.

SELECTIONS: ARTISTIC SAINT (1), CHANCELESS CENTURY (9), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (4), SWEET JASMINE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ARTISTIC SAINT (1) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCKNHOLME (6)
is given no favours from the outside alley but if he can manage to get the right trip, is up to defying the gate. Grabbing 3rd behind GINGER MICKY last start in a smart last 800m, he was able to close out in nice order for the silver three back. Just needs an even rub of the green.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (7) was taken back from gate 4 over the 2040m last start before making a nice closing raid to be under 5m from the winner. A similar run two starts back over the sprint trip when taken back in the early stages, he can be tucked away to make his challenge when the gaps arrive.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (4) was beaten by gate 6 last start but was not that far from the winner when chasing into a midfield position behind MY ULTMATE CLIPPA. Positioning cheaply will be key.

TELL ME THIS (2) has just the one win next to his name and will be on the back up from Friday at The Creek. With his best gate in some starts secured for this battle, he gets the chance to fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (6), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (7), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (4), TELL ME THIS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNHOLME (6) to win

RACE FIVE

CLARES FOOL (2)
is on the back-up from Friday at headquarters where he looked to have found very favourable conditions. Asked to race tough here last Monday from gate 6 and finishing just 4m from the winner, the improved gate in this line up can see him take full advantage.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3) comes out of the same race on Friday as CLARES FOOL where he faced the inside second line gate. Just 5m away two starts back when making a late raid from outside the second line, he can look to settle handy to the action from this alley to throw down the challenge.

LA PITOLA (1) faced a stand down last start and has been back to the trials to get his race ticket. With the chance of the easy trip in behind the action, he has a rough podium hope.

CROSSED LEGS (7) caught the eye last start when powering up over the latter stages to be just 3m from the winner after retreating from gate 6 to settle rearward. Probing for openings, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: CLARES FOOL (2), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3), LA PITOLA (1), CROSSED LEGS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CLARES FOOL (2) to win

RACE SIX

EASTBRO TEX (2)
was first up in Qld here last Monday and was sent to the post deep into the red from gate 3. Pressing forward off the arm to take control, he was unable to see it out as THE CROM descended to pinch it off him in the last strides. Taking benefit from that outing, this is within reach.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8) started from inside the second line last start and with the cosy trip was trying to make a closing play when grabbing 3rd and finishing under 2m from the winner. A beaten fav here two starts back from gate 5, he can get the right cart into this contest to challenge.

CANNAN (5) will take further benefit from his latest appearance where he was second up from a spell. Facing wide gate sin both return runs, he chimed in for 3rd when resuming and has claims here.

MUSTANG DUDE (1) tried to take them all the way from this gate last start but was out of gas in the stretch as HARRY CROFT took the prize. With a cosy trip behind the action, he is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: EASTBRO TEX (2), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8), CANNAN (5), MUSTANG DUDE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:  EASTBRO TEX (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

WILD ABOUT TOWN (2)
has been unable to put them away, fading out after setting the tempo in 3 of his past 4 starts. Pressing on to take control from gate 4 over this trip last start and then wilting, the improved gate is a big help and in what looks a wide-open contest, might be able to see it out.

MANY DELIGHTS (8) was a winner here three runs back from gate 3 where he was able to graft out the victory after sitting parked. Not much has been in his favour in the two runs since that win, the latest when snookered from inside the second line. He might just be able to press on to challenge.

ALLY PINK (3) did it the tough way at Marburg two runs back when grafting out a 3m deficit from the winner. A beaten fav last start from this same alley, she will be looking to make a play here.

BATMAN BART (9) started from inside the second line last time out and was hemmed away and searching for an opening. The gate is not ideal, but in an open affair, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (2), MANY DELIGHTS (8), ALLY PINK (3), BATMAN BART (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1)
darted across from gate 2 last time out where she was looking to take them all the way but was out of bullets turning for home. Holding on for the bronze as FLY CHEVAL took the win, she has placed in 3 of her past 4 and taking control here, might just pinch it from the front.

FEEL THE THRILL (7) settled in the running line last start from the second line where he was trying to make some late metres. Just out of the money, it followed a pair of placings which both came from the second line. With the chance for the economical trip, he can find the gap to challenge.

DARGOS PET (8) was a winner over the AP mile three runs back after finding a saloon passage from the pocket trail. Closing nicely for 3rd behind the in-form LONDON LADY last time, he has claims.

OFFICE BAD BOY (9) had this same gate last start and was making a late raid to get within a half-head of victory. With the right trip he can again be chiming in down the stretch.

SELECTIONS: NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1), FEEL THE THRILL (7), DARGOS PET (8), OFFICE BAD BOY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1) to win

RACE NINE

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (2)
will take good benefit from her latest start where she returned from a spell. Finding running line cover, she hit the line smartly to claim victory by a neck. With a handy trial in readiness for the return, she can look to show her speed off the arm here with options thereafter.

MISTY CREEK (6) eased across from gate 5 to find the 1x1 trail over the 2040m trip two starts back and then owned superior closing power to claim his 12th victory on this deck. Pressing forward to find the front from the same gate last start before fading late, he can throw it down to defy the gate.

LETTERKENNY BOY (1) was runner-up here last start when making some late metres behind SURF ACE. Wider gates have made it a tough ask in recent starts, with the cosy trail here a huge help.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ NOTORIOUS (2), MISTY CREEK (6), LETTERKENNY BOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ NOTORIOUS (2) to win

RACE TEN

LONDON LADY (2)
looked to be in all sorts of bother las start as a long odds-on fav after being shuffled back behind a tiring runner. Weaving a passage, she was somehow able to reel them in to claim victory by a neck. That maintained a perfect 3 from 3 on this deck, and she can make it 4.

HESLUVABLE (7) is resuming from a long spell here and comes up with the prefect soft trip on the pegs for the return. Unable to get warm last start in finishing at the rear, he made some nice metres two back. Opening the pipes in a recent hit out, he can be making the most of the shortcuts.

PAGO PAGO (1) has found it hard to get suitable conditions recently and should appreciate a peg trip from this gate. Eased from gate 5 last start, he can chug through early to fill a minor.

BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (5) made a costly error last start to trail the field home and was banished to the trials for the error. Earning the return, he can be chiming in from the sticky gate.

SELECTIONS: LONDON LADY (2), HESLUVABLE (7), PAGO PAGO (1), BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LONDON LADY (2) to win
