Racing Queensland advises greyhound race calendar changes for December 2022 and January 2023.
Ipswich will continue to fill the Bundaberg Monday timeslot throughout December and January.
Rockhampton will have additional race meetings on the following dates:
- Friday, December 9
- Saturday, January 14
- Saturday, January 28
Capalaba will race on Wednesday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 18 to balance the schedule.
Furthermore, the Townsville Showgrounds will be closed after Christmas for two weeks. The Townsville timeslots have been transferred to alternative venues as follows:
- Albion Park Tuesday, December 27 (day meeting)
- Rockhampton Saturday, December 31
- Rockhampton Tuesday, January 3
- Rockhampton Friday, January 6
Townsville will resume racing on Tuesday, January 10.
Townsville trainers will be offered a $100 travel subsidy per meeting to race at Rockhampton from December 27 to January 6.
