RACE ONE

Claiming his first victory since crossing the Tasman here two starts back, YEA YOU (3) should appreciate the conditions of this contest. Safely away from the 40m in working to the front to take control two runs back, he went on with it to take a 7m margin. This is well within reach.

BOURBONONTHEROCKS (2) has been freshened since her last appearance when midfield but only 7m from the winner KENNY KEKO. Stepping to the front and then releasing the start prior when not too far from the winner LEESA CASTLETON, a similar pattern can see her throw it down here fresh.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (6) is a hard follow and has done plenty wrong in recent times and despite another gait break last start regathered to chase gamely and be just 4m away. Manners are vital.

EYRE I GO (7) worked forward to press the issue early two starts back in similar conditions and from the front held on to take a 2m margin. Off the 10m he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: YEA YOU (3), BOURBONONTHEROCKS (2), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (6), EYRE I GO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: YEA YOU (3) to win

RACE TWO

Resuming from a spell two starts back when making some nice metres in the closing stages to grab 3rd, SARASUN (5) was able to frank that effort with a second up victory. Showing early hustle before releasing for the trail, she can settle handy enough to look for the repeat.

ALTA MAGICIAN (1) is a Hes Watching gelding making his race debut for Chantal Turpin. He earned the race ticket with a tidy hit out against experienced older horses where the tempo was strong. With the options from the good alley, he can challenge first up.

ENGLISH DANCE (2) dropped into the trail last start and when asked to make his challenge, quickly put up a margin to claim a 15m advantage. 5m from SARASUN two back, he can make a play.

MIKI MAGIC (3) returns from a break after her first campaign returned four minors and a win from her eight starts. Just 3m from CHEER LEADER before her break, she can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: SARASUN (5), ALTA MAGICIAN (1), ENGLISH DANCE (2), MIKI MAGIC (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SARASUN (5) to win

RACE THREE

After tackling experienced rivals at his first run in Qld last week, LORD OF MISRULE (2) should relish the chance to get back and tackle maiden company. Still with a bit to learn, his effort when attacking the line strongly last start behind QUARTZITE was the run of an imminent winner.

THE WATERBOY (9) started his Aus career with two starts in successive days last week where he was sent out deep into the red on each occasion. Unable to get up behind the start car on either occasion, he nearly pulled it off on Thursday. If he can get away with them, he looms large.

MISTIQUE (6) was returning from a spell last time out when pressing forward from gate 6 to do some early work before receiving cover and finishing best of the chasers. He can join in again.

CANDY STRIPER (8) will be snookered in the run here but if able to get some space can close out to chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: LORD OF MISRULE (2), THE WATERBOY (9), MISTIQUE (6), CANDY STRIPER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LORD OF MISRULE (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Gates have not really helped DOWNTOWN LUCCA (10) in recent outings where he has drawn wide off the front or second line in five of his past six. Still able to claim a pair of wins in that stretch, he can look to follow through early in this. Holding a handy spot, he can try to launch in a tricky affair.

ISNTTHATRIGHT (7) was runner-up in his first two outings here at The Creek from second line gates. A winner at his next two where he has defied the second line and then this same gate last start, he looks to have found the ideal conditions to ease back and come with the closing challenge again.

RISKY BUZINESS (4) is fast off the arm when asked and might just have the hustle to get across them here. A Marburg winner when leading throughout five back, he can be thereabouts here.

HANDSOME HARRY (9) was trying to take them all the way at Redcliffe three starts back and came up a neck short of victory. The gate hurts but he can press through to feature.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (10), ISNTTHATRIGHT (7), RISKY BUZINESS (4), HANDSOME HARRY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (10) to win

RACE FOUR

Requiring some factors in her favour and even some luck from this gate, DELTA THREE (8) just needs clear track in time to look for her second Qld victory. Taking them all the way at her first Qld appearance two starts back, she was asked to work hard last start in defeat.

LOOKAT MEE (6) made the most of conditions to find the front and take them all the way last start at Redcliffe from gate 4. Working hard outside the leader when returning from a spell two starts back and holding on for the silver, the winning experience with added fitness is a plus.

HURRICANE DREAM (2) struck trouble last start which ended her chances. That made it successive starts where interference has been costly. A clean race can see her right in the fight.

SHESHERZ (3) has been doing her racing at Redcliffe in recent appearances and should appreciate the wider expanses on offer here. Settling handy, she can chime into the minors.

SELECTIONS: DELTA THREE (8), LOOKAT MEE (6), HURRICANE DREAM (2), SHESHERZ (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DELTA THREE (8) to win

RACE SIX

This third heat of the Young Drivers Series and the first here at The Creek where Chloe Butler can look to cash in aboard OUR FRIEND (3). Set a task last start made no easier by a flat tyre, he was first up over two months in that contest. He has the early speed to get across and make them chase.

MASTER CHARLES (5) took on a tough 3YO feature last time when he found them just out of reach as AWAYWEGO took the prize. A Marburg winner two back when sent to the front to take them all the way, he has early hustle to find a position to stake his claim.

SHADYS DELIGHT (6) settled deep in the pack last start and was trying to make some metres in the latter stages as ACE LOMBO arrived. Strong to the line here three back, tempo will help.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (1) will benefit from the peg trip here and can be looking to chime into the minor money. Not too far away last start from the trail, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: OUR FRIEND (3), MASTER CHARLES (5), SHADYS DELIGHT (6), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:  OUR FRIEND (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

First up in Qld for Narissa McMullen and arriving with eight previous victories, BURNS BAY (1) lands the gate to go after the perfect start in the Sunshine State. Off the back of some sharp work in a preparatory trial where he scored in a slick 53.2 mile, he will give them the target.

BANGKOK DEEJAY (8) was first up from a spell last time out in the 3YO feature where he held 4th but his closing sectionals were smart in working home out of the 1x1 trail. Tightened from that and likely to stalk the speed here, look for him to issue the closing challenge.

MUCH BETTOR (9) has not been too far away in recent starts, the latest from the running line when chasing SAVING MAJOR PERCY. Effective off a peg trip, which looks a great place for this contest.

KARLOO BRADLEY (10) scored in a 2138m qualifier three starts back when finding the front and seeing it out. Runner-up in both outings since that victory, he can be joining into the minor money.

SELECTIONS: BURNS BAY (1), BANGKOK DEEJAY (8), MUCH BETTOR (9), KARLOO BRADLEY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-8-9-10

RACE EIGHT

A very tricky contest this looks to be made no easier by the figures that a few of these bring at the 2138m middle trip. MELTON BEACH (7) is 1 from 1 here over that journey, scoring here three back when resuming from a spell. Charging home last start after being buried, this is within reach.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (5) will take further benefit from her latest start where she was second up from a spell when settled back in the pack. Making some nice metres to be midfield behind RACY ROXY, she will appreciate a return to the front line after both runs back have been off the second.

ONLY ONE DON (1) took them all the way here from this same gate four runs back when setting a new PB at the mile. Starting from the second line in all four runs since, he gets the gate to join in.

WHATA TERROR (3) is yet to have a win beyond the sprint trip but should relish the improved gate after some tough alleys in recent times. Settling handy to the action can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: MELTON BEACH (7), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (5), ONLY ONE DON (1), WHATA TERROR (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

The fourth heat of the Young Drivers Series where the improved gate for ALLMIGHTY MAX (1) can be the catalyst for him to get back into winning form. Fitter following one run back from a spell where he was luckless from gate 7, he has the early hustle and options to capitalise in this.

QUARTZITE (4) was second up in Qld last time out when able to press on, take control and hold on for a half-neck victory. A Swan Hill winner three starts back, he has the gate to get forward again and up near the speed be positioned to challenge.

STRONG RESPONSE (9) faces the tricky alley but has been meeting stronger opposition than what he faces off against here in recent starts. Defeating the airborne MIDNIGHT CALM four runs back up the passing lane, he looms large.

OCTOBER RACKETEER (2) was sent to the post as fav last time out from gate 1 where he released and was searching for gaps that did not eventuate when needed. He is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: ALLMIGHTY MAX (1), QUARTZITE (4), STRONG RESPONSE (9), OCTOBER RACKETEER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLMIGHTY MAX (1) to win

RACE TEN

The conditions look right for BE ROCK HARD (3) to show some improvement and chase his first cheque in Queensland. Not much has really gone in his favour since arriving with Ron Sallis- two starts back he met a much tougher line up, three back he was forced to sit parked. Finding the front can see a turnaround.

SURF ACE (9) was out of the pack and chasing over this trip two starts back when holding 2nd behind THERESACHANCE. Eased to the poles from the middle of the line when chasing behind MIDNIGHT CALM last time, he can follow through to issue a challenge.

CHAMONIX (8) eased from the wide gate last start and then looked to be looming ominously between turns but ultimately peaked on the run as JUST DESSY arrived. He will be probing here.

BLACKJACK BART (4) faced gate 7 last start and was wide off the track trying to make a closing raid behind LUXURY LAD. Despite some tidy efforts, the 18-month win drought is the nagging concern.

SELECTIONS: BE ROCK HARD (3), SURF ACE (9), CHAMONIX (8), BLACKJACK BART (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BE ROCK HARD (3) to win
