RACE ONE

WATCHING RICKY (5) was on debut last time out when going off stride as the mobile released the field. Back in the pack thereafter, he was strong to the line in an eye-catching effort to be within 7m of the winner. If he can get it right, he will take some stopping.

MISTIQUE (6) is pushing closer to a maiden breaking victory after placing in all three starts since resuming from a spell. Sent to sit parked from this same gate last start, he was giving to the line when holding 2nd behind RHONDA BLUE CHIP. He can be challenging again.

CROSS WALK (9) made a costly error last start and was then left to chase in finishing midfield behind THE WATERBOY. The gate makes it tricky, but he is closing in on the account opener.

SELECTIONS: WATCHING RICKY (5), MISTIQUE (6), KERRIE BE (8), CROSS WALK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WATCHING RICKY (5) to win

RACE TWO

MADRIGAL (3) made an impression at the trials in her first public appearance in Qld and carried that through to her first race start. Sent straight to the front from gate 2, she was never in danger in scoring a 4m win in effortless fashion. She can look for the repeat.

LUCKY JIM (1) was forced to sit parked last start and after the tough trip faded to finish midfield as BORDERLINE took them all the way. Breaking the maiden status four runs back when leading throughout, he has all the options from this alley to issue the challenge.

JAKKI MUN (8) was a debut winner when settled back in the pack before coming with a well-timed challenge to arrive. Taking experience from the outing, he will be right in the fight here.

AS SHE SAYS (5) is knocking on the door after finishing runner-up in three of her past four. Chasing home behind BORDERLINE last start, she was beaten a lip here two back and can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MADRIGAL (3), LUCKY JIM (1), JAKKI MUN (8), AS SHE SAYS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MADRIGAL (3) to win

RACE THREE

HESLUVABLE (3)
was able to burrow through from gate 1 to set the speed at Marburg two starts back and from the front was able to see it out. Unable to warm up when buried away last start, he can be closer to the action and looks well placed to cash in.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) last tasted victory back in July when able to see it out over the AP mile. Striking trouble two starts back when working hard in the run, he faded out last start when pressing forward to the front. An easier lead can see him challenge here.

SONNY ORLANDO (7) was wide off the track trying to make a closing raid last start when midfield behind AWAYOVERNIGHT. With the soft trip on offer, he can be probing for the openings.

OFFICE BAD BOY (4) eased from gate 5 last start at HQ and from back in the pack never had the smoothest passage. Not far away here two back, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: HESLUVABLE (3), WILD ABOUT TOWN (1), SONNY ORLANDO (7), OFFICE BAD BOY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HESLUVABLE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

WHATA REACTOR (3)
eased from gate 6 here last start and from back in the pack was never able to work into the battle. Setting the speed from gate 5 two starts back and leading deep into the stretch when 2nd to MATAI REACTOR, she can look to force the issue early.

CHASIN DREAMZ (6) is afforded no favours from the outside alley but might just appreciate a return to the front line after her past two have been from inside the second line. Pressing ahead to take control from gate 5 here four starts back and seeing it out, she can issue the challenge.

NON PASSARE (7) struck trouble last start with the error proving costly. Trying to make closing metres here two starts back, he will be probing for a way clear.

CAUGHT OUT (4) settled in the 1x1 trail last start but could not go with them when the power went on. Gritty in claiming 2nd from the breeze here two back, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (3), CHASIN DREAMZ (6), NON PASSARE (7), CAUGHT OUT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (3) to win

RACE FIVE

EASTBRO TEX (2)
finally put it together here two starts back and was able to see it out in front in taking a 4m victory. Backing it up with another all the way win from this same gate last start, he has the gate to fire out and go in search of the threepeat.

DARBY BRIGHTS (4) put together successive wins and then when chasing the hat-trick, finished in 3rd position behind MATAI REACTOR. 3rd again at her last start when darting down to the passing lane, a return to the front line is in her favour after her past two have been from outside the second line.

SHEZ GOT BLING (7) was snagged back off the gate last start from outside the front line and was making some closing metres behind AWAYOVERNIGHT. With the cosy trip, she can chime in.

DOLLAR BUCKS (9) was able to breakthrough for a maiden breaking victory last start after working hard in the run when parked. The gate dents the chances of making it successive victories.

SELECTIONS: EASTBRO TEX (2), DARBY BRIGHTS (4), SHEZ GOT BLING (7), DOLLAR BUCKS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

MAJOR TRALEE (3)
was stamped urgent when the start car pulled away last start and he was able to spear across from gate 5 to take control. Collared in the last strides by HEAR THE CALL, it followed a 2nd when working home from the second line. He finds conditions to capitalise.

SHAKATIE (1) was chasing from the 1x1 trail last start when grabbing 3rd behind VERMONT. Beaten by gate 6 here two starts back, she was 3rd to AWAYOVERNIGHT three back. With all the options from the gate, she can issue the challenge.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (7) was angled to the poles last start from the second line and was chasing along the passing lane to finish midfield. From this alley she will again be searching for openings.

GETALOADATHISBRO (8) eased from gate 6 last start and was unable to get warm over the closing stages. Buried in the run the start prior, he can follow through to feature.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR TRALEE (3), SHAKATIE (1), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (7), GETALOADATHISBRO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR TRALEE (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

ROCKSLIDE (2)
tackled a second division qualifier last start when setting the speed from gate 2 but unable to ss it out over the 2138m trip, finishing 5m in arrears of the winner. A five-time winner here on The Triangle, he can look to take control and dictate.

IDEAL TIGER (8) has faced wide gates off the front line at his past two starts where he has been retreating and then trying to make a closing raid. From this alley he can press through early and with the likelihood of some tempo, be close enough to issue a closing challenge.

THE WEEKEND (5) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when tracking into the contest to be a half-neck from the winner. The gate hurts but he can be joining in.

RAANI (7) eased to the inside over the 2138m two starts back and was able to grab the bronze, albeit 22m from the winner. Buried last start over the AP mile, she will be searching for the openings.

SELECTIONS: ROCKSLIDE (2), IDEAL TIGER (8), THE WEEKEND (5), RAANI (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKSLIDE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

VERMONT (8)
eased across from gate 4 to find the running line last start and with a pedestrian opening half set from the front was still able to power over the top of them, pulling clear to claim a 9m margin. With the right trail through, she can look to go back-to-back.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (2) has been a victim of some tough draws in recent times and should relish the chance to get back tight on the front line. Forget her last start where she made a mess of the standing start, she was sound when buried the start prior and can challenge here.

AFTER DARN (9) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest a tough effort when sitting parked as VERMONT cruised by. The gate makes the task tricky.
HEAVENLY WISDOM (5) was 3rd here five runs back when working home wide off the track from outside the back line. Her past four have all been at HQ and despite a tricky gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS:  VERMONT (8), GETALOADATHISGIRL (2), AFTER DARN (9), HEAVENLY WISDOM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: VERMONT (8) to win

RACE NINE

WHATA TERROR (8)
has placed at his past three starts, the latest when pressing on to find the front and then setting a genuine tempo over the 1780m trip. Fighting hard to be just 3m from the winner, he can follow through to lob a handy spot here and be ready to cash in.

JAZIAH (1) had an early look from gate 3 last start but unable to cross was then content to sit parked. Able to graft out a determined victory with a neck to spare, she will appreciate the inside alley here where she can burrow through and be presented with the options to challenge.

PURPLE SHADES (5) has no favours from the wide gate but was strong to the line last start after retreating early and grabbing 3rd behind JAZIAH. Runner-up from this alley two back, he has claims.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (2) was buried away from inside the second line last start and was looking for openings as FOUR FOR FOUR claimed the win over the AP mile. He can be handy enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: WHATA TERROR (8), JAZIAH (1), PURPLE SHADES (5), THE CASUAL GOOSE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA TERROR (8) to win

RACE TEN

PRECIOUS CULLEN (4)

ARTFUL JACK (1) makes his local debut for the Jonah Hutchinson stable, arriving a three-time winner in NSW, albeit over two years since last tasting victory. With the benefit of the good gate, he can look to challenge first up.

ASHLEE NITRO (7) should secure an economical trip from this alley and will be searching for the openings to chime in. 3rd here two starts back, she was buried last start which ended her hopes.

VANITY BAY (9) was able to be tucked away with a cosy trip last start and when finding the space had the speed to arrive for the prize. The gate hurts but he can be looking to join in.

SELECTIONS: PRECIOUS CULLEN (4), ARTFUL JACK (1), ASHLEE NITRO (7), VANITY BAY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PRECIOUS CULLEN (4) to win
