RACE ONE

First up from a spell here last week, RILEY MOMENT (4) was into stride and able to work to the front over the 2647m trip. With her condition fading in the closing stages in holding 3rd, she strikes similar conditions here but with a drop back to the 2138m trip, looks well-placed to capitalise.

KAR MANOR (1) found his race on Friday under mobile conditions when pressing to the front and rolling in the van to claim an easy victory. Strong to the line here two starts back at the 13-furlong trip, his biggest issue remains the starting manners. If close enough early, he is a huge threat.

NORTIE NORTIE (2) was chasing down a hat-trick of wins here two starts back but made an early error that proved costly. Working hard last start when parked, he is right in this from this lane.

SELECTIONS: RILEY MOMENT (4), KAR MANOR (1), NORTIE NORTIE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: RILEY MOMENT (4) to win

RACE TWO

Resuming from a spell last week, there were plenty of positive signs from HOLD MY HAT DOUG (1) at his first appearance as a 3YO. Stepping safely, he released for the trail then was within 2m of the winner up the passing lane, who had the momentum. From the front tape, he can capitalise.

QUERENCIA (6) was chasing down a hat-trick last start when looking to have landed in a perfect position in transit from the 30m tape. Unable to close it out when 8m astern of the winner, he had shown good pace two back when sprinting over the top. Stepping safely, he can challenge.

SHEZA CHANCE (13) closed out in smart fashion two starts back from the 20m impost to grab 4th behind QUERENCIA. Overcoming the 40m here when joining in stylishly to score last start, she has claims once again.

HAMMER SON (11) made an uncharacteristic error last start to end his chances from the 40m. Runner up in three of five to start the season, he can bounce back into the money here.

SELECTIONS: HOLD MY HAT DOUG (1), QUERENCIA (6), SHEZA CHANCE (13), HAMMER SON (11)
SUGGESTED BET: HOLD MY HAT DOUG (1) to win

RACE THREE

She looks the best horse in the race but from inside the second line where she looks set to be buried in the run, BRONSKI DELIGHT (8) will be needing some favours. Almost rolling BOLD MEDLEY JUJON two starts back, she was never bothered in front last start. Her class can get her home.

MARTY THE MARTIAN (2) started from inside the second line on debut when making some nice closing metres to be midfield, 7m from the winner. Starting odds-on last start from gate 2, he was trying to launch a closing raid when 3rd to IM BELIEBER. Still a maiden, the gate helps his hopes.

BEE GEES BEST (4) will be better suited from the front line after facing the inside second line at his past two. A runner-up here three back when chasing a hat-trick, he has podium claims.

LAST TIME JOE (10) was making his Qld debut last time out when chasing home from the pegs for 2nd to BRONSKI DELIGHT. The gate makes the task a little tricky.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI DELIGHT (8), MARTY THE MARTIAN (2), BEE GEES BEST (4), LAST TIME JOE (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

Returning from a freshen following a last start 3rd, EXCITING TIMES (2) finds the right conditions to secure the first win of his 3YO term. Taking the trail last start from gate 1, he was 3m from the winner MALINJANG. Not beaten far in his three previous starts, this looks well withing reach.

TORQUE LIKE MOTION (1) has been to the trials twice in readiness for her first start since August. The second of those was a smart hit out and has been franked with a winner to emerge. Beaten a head by the smart WISPER A SECRET at her last 2YO appearance, she can challenge fresh up.

FRAYA (3) started deep into the red last start at Redcliffe and justified the quote when pressing to the front and extending to claim an 18m margin. From the gate she can be handy enough to join in.

SOHO CASABLANCA (8) will strip fitter from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell from gate 10. With the economical fence trip, he can look to fill the exotics.

SELECTIONS: EXCITING TIMES (2), TORQUE LIKE MOTION (1), FRAYA (3), SOHO CASABLANCA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-8

RACE FIVE

a tricky race to dissect here with the main player all looking to have drawn wide or off the second line. Runner-up in five of six this season, MISTER WOODPORT (9) might just shake off the bridesmaid tag in this battle. Making late metres when 3m away last start, he can be finishing hard.

AWAYOVERNIGHT (8) was a firming fav here last week from gate 9 and was sent through the line soon after the start and asked to grind it out first over. Buried from this alley two starts back before spotting a gap to grab 3rd, he will be needing the space to make the closing challenge.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (7) was a winner here on Friday after doing some early work before receiving cover. Finishing over the top for a narrow victory, the gate makes the task tough here.

SOULWRITER (10) was a Redcliffe winner four starts back and then two starts back had gate 7 on this deck over the mile when charging home for the silver. With the right trail, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: MISTER WOODPORT (9), AWAYOVERNIGHT (8), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (7), SOULWRITER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER WOODPORT (9) to win

RACE SIX

After producing a mixed bag since arriving in Qld, BURNS BAY (7) looks to have it back on track following his last start 3rd from gate 10. Charging home wide off the track to be just 2m from the winner, the gate is tricky here, but with some genuine tempo, he can look to descend upon them.

TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (2) has returned for his 4YO term in nice order and found the conditions to capitalise last start when making full use of the inside gate. Sent to the front, he was able to take them all the way over the middle trip. Settling handy again here can see him throw it down.

LEANDER (4) will take further benefit from her second up win here last start when sent to the front from gate 1 and stepping it out to a 1.54.3 career PB mile. She will be having a good look here.

MOSSDALE MAC (6) was beaten by a wide gate over the Redcliffe 2040 two starts back, yet his closing splits were smart. Franking that last start on The Triangle, he is a podium player here.

SELECTIONS: BURNS BAY (7), TORQUE TOTHE MUSIC (2), LEANDER (4), MOSSDALE MAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BURNS BAY (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

A strong 70Heat where the front line speed and tempo looks genuine which should position B MAC C (8) to be ready to make a closing challenge up the passing lane. At his best with the stalking trip, he was beaten last start from outside the front line at Redcliffe, he just needs the momentum.

HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY (1) was first up off a freshen here last time out where he was able to press to the front from gate 3 and then try to take them all the way. Gunned down by ROLLYARRRZ off his back, he will strip fitter for the run and has the gate to burrow through and be gripping on.

SWEDISH STARLET (7) was looking to make it four on the bounce last start when taken to Redcliffe where a wide gate made it tough. Holding on for 3rd to REGULUS, she cops no favours from the 7.

DELTA THREE (5) has been in super form with three wins in her five appearances this term, the latest an all the way victory over the middle trip. Closing it out in nice order from the front, the gate stings.

SELECTIONS: B MAC C (8), HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY (1), SWEDISH STARLET (7), DELTA THREE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

Taking benefit from her first up run here last week in a race that looked a little deeper than this battle, SISTA BLISS (10) can show her closing power to descend on them. A tough 2nd two starts back before being given a freshen, she closed out in nice order last time and a good tempo here will help.

ISNTTHATRIGHT (7) has been uber consistent since arriving in Qld, missing the money just once in 11 outings. That miss was two starts back when under 7m from the winner LEANDER in sharp time. Bouncing back when pressing to the front to score last week, he can throw it down again.

NAKULA (2) found the conditions to capitalise last start when sent to the front and once in control was able to take them all the way. From the gate he gets the chance to step up again.

KORLOFF NOIR (4) has been thereabouts, finishing in the money at her past three in succession, the latest when chasing home from the second line behind THE WATERBOY. She can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: SISTA BLISS (10), ISNTTHATRIGHT (7), NAKULA (2), KORLOFF NOIR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SISTA BLISS (10) to win

RACE NINE

Despite a potentially sticky barrier set up, ITS MR CLOONEY (6) is going well enough to capitalise on the conditions here. Strong to the line in laying out some sharp fractions last start behind LE TISSIER, a return to the front is a huge plus after his past four have all been from the second row.

MAJORDOIT (4) was sent to the front here two starts back from gate 3 over the 2138m trip and was fighting hard deep into the stretch when just a neck from the winner. Buried from inside the second line last start, he can get forward and even if required to work can be up to the challenge.

COMMODORE JUJON (5) was having his first appearance in this grade last start when eased to the fence looking for the short cuts as LE TISSIER marched on. Positioning cheaply will help his cause.

GLENLEDI BOY (8) will have the second line options here as the lone runner out the back. Making some nice metres in the closing stages last start, he can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: ITS MR CLOONEY (6), MAJORDOIT (4), COMMODORE JUJON (5), GLENLEDI BOY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS MR CLOONEY (6) to win
