RACE ONE

The first of six from the Moonee Valley of the North where FAKE CULLECTION (7) can secure the right trip to claim her second win of the season. Tackling a tougher race last start when fading out, her effort three back when closing out smartly was the type of run that gives her the chance here.

JILLIBY TYPHOON (4) pressed the issue from gate 4 last start at Redcliffe and working to the front was able to take control and hold on for a narrow victory. Fading out after setting the tempo two back, she might need to be working at some stage here.

DEECEE ROCKIN (1) found the front two starts back at Redcliffe when sent out as fav but could not finish them off. Striking trouble at Marburg on Thursday, he has the early hustle to feature.

BLUE TITLE (5) rolled forward from gate 5 last start to sit parked and was content to hold that position, ultimately fading to be 13m from the winner. He can fill the minors again here.

SELECTIONS: FAKE CULLECTION (7), JILLIBY TYPHOON (4), DEECEE ROCKIN (1), BLUE TITLE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FAKE CULLECTION (7) to win

RACE TWO

SUBTLE ADVICE (4) has been midfield at his past two appearances, the latest when doing some early work to get forward in the race claimed by JAYDES TERROR. With a 50% win strike rate on this deck, he finds the right set up to get forward and stake a claim.

OUR DOLLY (8) has been in nice touch of late, hitting the board in three of her past five attempts. A Redcliffe winner five runs back when working hard form gate 4 and grafting out a determined win, she was again game in defeat when 1m away two starts back. She can track into this to challenge.

EAGLES RESPONSE (5) is 1 for 1 on the kikuyu and has been hampered by starting from the second line at her past three in succession. Sliding across to settle handy can see her feature.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (6) was sent to sit parked two starts back and was able to cling on for the bronze, racing against his ideal pattern. The wide gate dents the chances here, but he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SUBTLE ADVICE (4), OUR DOLLY (8), EAGLES RESPONSE (5), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SUBTLE ADVICE (4) to win

RACE THREE

WHATA REACTOR (2)
burrowed through to lead at Marburg last start and was trying to take them all the way but was worried out of it as TULHURST CUDDLES prevailed. That had followed two runs where the second line barrier put things out of reach. With the chance to pounce on the poles again here, she can show the hustle to capitalise.

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (8) was in the throes of a win drought that had extended five years when able to claim a breakthrough at Redcliffe two starts back. Franking that with a win at the last meeting here at his next appearance, he resumes here fresh up chasing the hat-trick.

BELLA GODIVA (5) was sent to the post as fav last start when easing from gate 4 before trying to eat into the deficit over the closing stages to be 10m in arrears of the winner MANY DELIGHTS. She has claims at her first grass track appearance.

WEDDING NIGHT (7) secured the perfect trip in behind the speed last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip and when angled to the passing lane had the speed to cash in. She will be probing again here.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (2), NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (8), BELLA GODIVA (5), WEDDING NIGHT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (2) to win

RACE FOUR

TEACHERS PET (6) i
s given no favours from the outside paint, but she might just have enough edge on her rivals to still capitalise. Easing and then unable to make closing metres in a mare’s qualifier two starts back, she hit the board her previous three in succession, including a dictating win. Backing up from an all the way effort at Marburg last time out, this looks well within reach.

UNDERTHEKILT (1) conversely to the six, has all the favours, drawn tight on the rail where he can look to burrow through and make use of the availing options. Runner-up from the trail two starts back, he threw his chances away at Marburg last start when making an error after being driven hard to in trying to protect the poles. Pacing cleanly from this alley, he can throw it down.

ROYAL PRINCESSS (8) fired across to take control last start at Redcliffe over the 1780 and led them deep into the stretch, with PRESS STATEMENT getting off her back to score. Fitter again from that where she was second up, she can feature.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (7) was beaten by the outside front line gate last start over the AP 2138m trip which followed an inside second line trip when snookered. He can use this to chase some confidence and recapture some form.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (6), UNDERTHEKILT (1), ROYAL PRINCESSS (8), IMA BIRUBI BOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

MASTER CHARLES (9)
should appreciate what looks a slightly easier calibre of opposition to his recent appearances. Forced to snag back from gate 6 last start at Redcliffe, he was making some nice metres in the closing stages behind SAN MAREA. Charging home behind WHATA TERROR four back for the silver, he can descend on them here.

RISKY BUZINESS (1) is on the back-up from Friday where he was facing a task from the outside front line gate. A winner from the trail two starts back after starting inside the second line and owning the closing speed to score, he has early hustle and the options on offer to issue a challenge.

BEACH ON FIRE (2) is another on the three-day back-up, having drawn gate 1 at The Triangle on Friday. Chasing home to be midfield from the 1x1 trail two starts back, he can be close enough to feature.

SWEET JASMINE (7) was stalking the speed from inside the second line last time out when grabbing a 3m 3rd behind ARNOLD STREET. Tucked away again here, she will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: MASTER CHARLES (9), RISKY BUZINESS (1), BEACH ON FIRE (2), SWEET JASMINE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MASTER CHARLES (9) to win

RACE SIX

ALTANA BLUE (2)
started from outside the second line at Redcliffe last start and was making good metres in a closing raid that saw him finish under 2m from the winner. Beaten by the closing tempo when chasing two starts back, he has the gate to fire out and take his shot at dictating.

GLENLEDI COMMANDER (6) faces the quick turnaround after stepping out on Saturday night at Redcliffe in the opening event of the night where a place chance looked his best hope. Capitalising three starts back when leading throughout over the 2138m trip at headquarters, he can throw it down here.

WHATABOYJACK (10) is also under the 48-hour back-up routine, having drawn the carpark in a very tough 70Final stacked with speed. He cops the outside second line here which makes it no easier, but with the right tempo he can be entertained.

IMA BEACH BABE (1) led early before releasing over the AP mile two starts back and from the trail was 2m in arrears of the dictating winner MISS DAYTONA. With a similar trip, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (2), GLENLEDI COMMANDER (6), WHATABOYJACK (10), IMA BEACH BABE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:  ALTANA BLUE (2) to win
