RACE ONE

ONE LAST ROLL (2) has a few duck eggs next to his name in recent starts but should relish in the opportunity to get back to this type of race from the tight gate. Beaten a neck three starts back when leading at Marburg, that his pattern and conditions suit for this assignment.

BONNIES CAM (5) tackled a second division qualifier last start when eased from gate 7 to settle rearward before making some nice metres in the closing stages to be under 10m from THE GENERAL. It’s been a while between drinks, but he finds conditions here to challenge.

FOUR FOR FOUR (3) was an AP winner three starts back when settling in the running line before taking an inside run in the stretch to score. This is easier than her two attempts since that win.

LITTLE CHANGE (6) sat near the tail from outside the second line last time out and ran home in nice order when 4m from the winner. The gate hurts but he can be chiming in here to feature.

SELECTIONS: ONE LAST ROLL (2), BONNIES CAM (5), FOUR FOR FOUR (3), LITTLE CHANGE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE LAST ROLL (2) to win

RACE TWO

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (4) has been campaigning at HQ in recent times and should appreciate a return to this type of race on a track where he has had good success. Too far back last time when trying to reel in the smart filly BRONSKI DELIGHT, some tempo will aid his cause.

PACIFIC COIN (3) will be fresh here after his last appearance back in December when firing out from gate 4 to look for an all the way performance. Collared in the last strides when just a half-neck in arrears, he has the gate to challenge.

UNDERTHEKILT (1) has placed 3rd at his two most recent runs on this deck, one from back in the pack and one when sitting parked. A cosy trip on offer here can see him chime in.

SWEET JASMINE (9) was the runner-up here three starts back from deep in the pack when making ground wide off the track. A similar trip here looks on offer for her to make a closing raid.

SELECTIONS: HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (4), PACIFIC COIN (3), UNDERTHEKILT (1), SWEET JASMINE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (4) to win

RACE THREE

SHAKATIE (2)
will find this more to her liking after her past two at The Creek where she chased hard but found BRONSKI DELIGHT too slippery last time and two back grabbed the bronze behind the big winner BLUE SHARD. A winner from the front here four back, she gets the gate to dictate.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (3) was the runner-up here two starts back after being shuffled back in the run from inside the second line before rattling home to be just a head from the winner. Gate 5 was her undoing last start and from this alley, if landing a spot cheaply she can challenge.

MY SECRET BEACH (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage as he looks in danger of being snookered on the poles. Clear track can see him grab a minor.

AQUA CRUISER (6) has no favours from the wide gate, but he was game in defeat last start from this same alley when sitting parked and grafting out a half-head 2nd. That effort keeps in contention.

SELECTIONS: SHAKATIE (2), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (3), MY SECRET BEACH (7), AQUA CRUISER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SHAKATIE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1)
started fav from this gate three starts back and from the pocket trail was under 4m from the winner in a blanket finish. Wide gates have made it tough his past two starts and with a return to a good gate, finds his opportunity and the options to capitalise.

TRACER BULLET (7) was a gritty 2nd here three starts back when sent forward to sit parked from the second line and was just a half-head from the winner. Unable to replicate it from gate 5 at his next start, his latest effort had merit and with a cosy trip can be searching for the openings.

FORGIVE ME (2) was a winner here tow starts back when darting through from gate 1 to set the speed and take them all the way. Asked to hang tough when parked last start, she can feature here.

ARNOLD STREET (5) was driven hard off the arm at the 2040m start last time out and broke gait when trying to get across. 6m from ALLMIGHTY MAX two starts back, the gate makes it tricky.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1), TRACER BULLET (7), FORGIVE ME (2), ARNOLD STREET (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1) to win

RACE FIVE

TODAYS HERO (3)
went back-to-back late last season to break a long winning drought, but has hit the board just twice in the seven since. Taken back last start from gate 4 and then not in the mix, he finds the race to get forward and with the chance of forcing his way to the front, can see this out.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6) bounced back to winning for here last start when finishing too strongly wide off the track to claim a 2m margin. Given no favours from the outside paint, he can be working home strongly again here to make a closing challenge.

JAYDES TERROR (9) darted through the gaps from inside the second line two starts back for the silver behind NON PASSARE and then took them all the way last start in a career PB. The gate hurts.

AUNTY FRANCES (8) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out but could not go when the power went on in the closing stages. Gates have not been kind in recent starts, but she can trail through to feature.

SELECTIONS: TODAYS HERO (3), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6), JAYDES TERROR (9), AUNTY FRANCES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TODAYS HERO (3) to win

RACE SIX

MUSTANG DUDE (1)
was forced to face the outside of the second line last start which made his task too hard and had followed a wide gate when retreating and then chasing in vain. A tough 3rd here three starts back when parked, he looks to get all the favours from the gate this time to capitalise.

MANY DELIGHTS (3) will take further benefit from his latest outing where he was second up from a break and asked to graft it out first over when 6m in arrears on the wire. He will force the issue here and either parked or waved on bye, he will be in the position to challenge.

BELLA GODIVA (5) has seen her form taper off somewhat yet she was sent out as fav last start from this same gate. Midfield when 8m form the winner, she can be thereabouts again here.

BETTERTHAN TORQUE (7) was a winner three starts back and sent for a spell immediately after the win. Fitter from two runs back from the break, a cosy trip here can see him chase the minor money.

SELECTIONS: MUSTANG DUDE (1), MANY DELIGHTS (3), BELLA GODIVA (5), BETTERTHAN TORQUE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  MUSTANG DUDE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7)
faced the outside front line last start so should appreciate the return to an economical trip that this alley will offer. Runner-up over the AP mile four starts back from inside the second line, he follows a good beginner here and stalking the speed can make the closing shot a winner.

WEDDING NIGHT (1) had the speed to lead last time out from this same gate and after a steady time of it in front, was unable to finish them off. Fading over the AP mile two back when setting the speed, there again looks a lack of pressure and she gets her chance to throw it down in front.

CANNAN (5) held the 1x1 trail last time over the AP mile but could not get going in the closing stages when 11m from the subsequent winner JUST ONE GOOD ONE. Limiting the early work will help.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (9) was trying to find a forward position last start when settling 1x1 in the run. Holding on for the bronze when 4m from the winner, the gate makes his task more difficult.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7), WEDDING NIGHT (1), CANNAN (5), FORTYFIVE ROCK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7) to win
