RACE ONE

Bouncing back into winning form last week at Redcliffe JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) showed what a difference her manners can make. Safely away from the tapes and able to trot cleanly throughout, she fought them off to claim a narrow margin. Back to the big oval, she can look to rinse and repeat.

QUERENCIA (7) came from the 40m impost last time out and locked away against the poles over the Redcliffe 2280, could not get into the contest. Powering over the top of them to arrive here two starts back, settling handy from the 20m, he can be issuing the closing challenge.

OONSKADE (5) was sent forward to sit parked from the 30m tape last start but faded in the closing stages to be 15m in arrears of the winner. Luckless the start prior, she can chime in.

MAJESTIC TIME (2) was sent to the post as fav last start but made an error when the tapes released which ended his chances. Runner-up two starts back, form the front, if he starts well he can feature.

SELECTIONS: JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1), QUERENCIA (7), OONSKADE (5), MAJESTIC TIME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) to win

RACE TWO

Making his third appearance since joining the Graham Dwyer stable, OUR ACTION MAN (3) steps out at HQ for the first time since the switch. Asked to hang tough in a 70Heat on The Triangle last start, he was game in defeat when holding on for the silver. From the gate he gets a chance to dictate.

MISTERY ROAD (1) will strip fitter following his latest appearance when resuming from a spell and settled in the running line over the Redcliffe sprint trip. His last appearance before being shut down for a break was when parked and only 5m from TARGARYEN. From the gate he can throw it down.

GIRL FROM OZ (4) resumes from a spell to have make her first appearance for her 5YO term. Chasing home behind SOEXTRA last start, the pipes have been opened with a sound trial effort.

FALCONS (2) was a winner here five runs back when buried in the run and owning superior closing speed to arrive for the prize. Out of the money in all four since, he can be closer to the action here.

SELECTIONS: OUR ACTION MAN (3), MISTERY ROAD (1), GIRL FROM OZ (4), FALCONS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR ACTION MAN (3) to win

RACE THREE

Resuming from a spell over the 2040 two starts back on The Triangle, MISTERFREEZE (7) eased from outside the front line and rounded them up to claim a neck margin. Trying to make the closing raid last start as COMMODORE JUJON out toughed them, a return to the big deck helps his cause.

DESPONDENT (3) led them up from gate 1 over this trip five runs back and tried to fight them off when grabbed in the last strides by LE TISSIER, beaten a neck. A gritty 2nd to HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY two back was followed with an all the way Redcliffe sprint win. From the front he will be gripping on.

BITCOIN (8) has placed at his past two starts and lands the second line options here. Making a late raid to be just a head short of the prize last start, he can be joining in again here.

OHOKA JIMMY (1) was trying to join in up the passing lane last start at Redcliffe and in a blanket finish was out of the money but under 3m from the winner. With the soft trip, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MISTERFREEZE (7), BITCOIN (8), DESPONDENT (3), OHOKA JIMMY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTERFREEZE (7) to win

RACE FOUR

With good speed off the arm and a tidy record at the middle trip, SOLE AMBITION (2) can be sent forward here to light the lamps. Trying to fight them off last start at Redcliffe when worried out of it by COMMODORE JUJON, he fought bravely to score over this trip five back and gets a chance again.

ITS MR CLOONEY (6) will be on the back up from Saturday where he met a strong line up. Placed in all three runs prior to that attempt, he struck trouble when third across the line two starts back but earned a promotion in the steward’s room. The gate stings but he can challenge.

ROLL ONE OVER (1) has placed in 3 of his past 4 starts and started off the ace in each. 3m from DESPONDENT last start and losing 2nd on protest after a scrimmage, he will be probing here.

HIPSTAR (5) will take benefit from his last appearance where he was first up in eight weeks. Settling in the running line, he was strong to the line when just 1m from the winner and can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: SOLE AMBITION (2), ITS MR CLOONEY (6), ROLL ONE OVER (1), HIPSTAR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SOLE AMBITION (2) to win

RACE FIVE

A return to the big deck will be relished by the old boy LANCELOT BROMAC (9) and he finds the set up to chase down another victory. Not suited from gate 1 two starts back when snookered against the poles, he kept chasing when 6m from FRAYA the start prior. The right trail will be a huge plus.

SARASUN (4) claimed her only win in a 2YO maiden event last season and continues to tackle more experienced rivals. Taken back off the arm last start from gate 6 at Redcliffe, she never warmed up over the closing stages. Back in the main draw helps her chances to fire out to issue the challenge.

BEACH ON FIRE (6) settled in the running line last start and had the required closing speed to arrive for the prize on the Kilcoy kikuyu. This is tougher but some winning confidence can help his cause.

TODAYS HERO (1) was locked away on the poles after starting form the second line last time out at Redcliffe and finished down the line. A return to the front line can see him grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: LANCELOT BROMAC (9), SARASUN (4), BEACH ON FIRE (6), TODAYS HERO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LANCELOT BROMAC (9) to win

RACE SIX

First up this season off the back of a freshen, FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (7) was never in danger from gate 1 at Redcliffe when burrowing through to lead and from the front ambled through a steady opening half before dialling it up in a slick close out. Despite the wide gate, he looks far too classy.

MISS FROUFROU (1) will be first up this season, stepping out for her first 3YO appearance. Rounding out her maiden season with a 3rd behind SAVEEON in the G1 NSW Breeders Final, she was a tough winner of that series at Menangle. With a smart preparatory trial, she lands the right alley fresh.

WHERES OUR MONEY (9) was chasing down a hat-trick to remain undefeated in Qld when sent out in red figures from inside the second line last start at Redcliffe. Beaten by a smart drive in front, back to the big oval is a plus.

SOHO CASABLANCA (6) sat in the trail last start on The Triangle and needed the gap sooner than it arrived when grabbing the silver behind DEVOUGED. The wide gate makes it not easier again.

SELECTIONS: FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (7), MISS FROUFROU (1),  WHERES OUR MONEY (9), SOHO CASABLANCA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  Flexi exotics 7 / 1-2-6-9

RACE SEVEN

Tightened from his return to the track last start where he was first up in 10 months, AMAMI (3) finds the right gate to chase down a repeat. Shut down last campaign when 2nd to TIMS A TROOPER, off the back of a smart trial, he powered home fresh in a slippery mile. He has the class to repeat.

O B LEGAL (5) is chasing a threepeat after wins over the 2138m on this deck and the 2040 at Redcliffe. Charging home along the passing lane last start and pulling clear to a 5m margin, it followed an effortless 9m margin here at HQ. Despite a potentially sticky gate, he can challenge.

THE WATERBOY (10) was sent around them in the early stages to sit parked last start when finishing just out of the money behind MOSSDALE MAC. The second line makes it a tough ask.

SOME GIRLS DONT (2) was a winner here three starts back when sent around them to sit parked and able to hold on for a narrow victory. Just a neck away last start, she can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: AMAMI (3), O B LEGAL (5), THE WATERBOY (10), SOME GIRLS DONT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AMAMI (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

All the power in this race looks drawn wider or off the second line, with last start winner ISNTTHATRIGHT (9) looking to have found conditions to chalk up another victory. Backing up from a heady steer on Friday where he landed the prize up the passing lane, he can descend on them again.

MIKI MAGIC (8) forced the issue last start at Redcliffe and from the front was able to control proceedings and hold on for a neck margin over the 2040 trip. A winner at the mile here three starts back, she is a model of consistency with a 75% top 3 strike rate and will be probing to challenge.

DEVOUGED (10) was building to a win and franked that assessment when overcoming gate 6 to score at Redcliffe last start. Claiming a 5m margin, with the right cart into the contest he can feature.

TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (6) worked into the race nicely last start at Redcliffe and looked to have a break until O B LEGAL found the gap and rattled home to score. The bigger deck is a plus, the wider gate a minus.

SELECTIONS: ISNTTHATRIGHT (9), MIKI MAGIC (8), DEVOUGED (10), TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ISNTTHATRIGHT (9) to win
