RACE ONE

THEMOSTESS (1)
was not suited here two starts back when asked to work in the run after being sent to sit parked from the second line. From this gate she can burrow through to keep them wide and with limited pressure, gets her chance to pinch a maiden breaking victory.

RIGHTYO (9) was sent out as fav last start from outside the front line and eased off the arm sat rearward in transit. Making a wide move around them over the closing stages, he found the line in smart order to be under 5m from the winner. He can be issuing the closing challenge in this.

BLACK GEMSTONE (3) returns from a spell after a last start 3rd to JAKKI MUN back in December. Settling handy to the action from this alley can see him in the mix.

TORQUE TO THE KING (7) had the outside front line gate over the AP mile last start when easing and unable to make a real dent on the leader and winner VALERIE VERDE. He will be probing.

SELECTIONS: THEMOSTESS (1), RIGHTYO (9), BLACK GEMSTONE (3), TORQUE TO THE KING (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THEMOSTESS (1) to win

RACE TWO

THREE ONE FOUR (8) has now had four runs back from a spell, placing just once and also missing a place when sent to the post in red figures. Chasing home behind JILLIBY CHAMBERS last start, she looks to have found the right opposition to get her 2nd win on the board.

SURFER JOE (4) broke the maiden status here three starts back when allowed to settle in the early stages from gate 2 before powering home over the top of them to take the prize. Making late metres for the bronze at his next appearance, he finds conditions to challenge once again here.

ROCKON ALLIE (2) returns from a spell to start her 3YO term after claiming one win in seven appearances in her first season on the track. Up near the action from this gate gives her a podium hope.

OUR LITTLE SKIPPER (5) finally landed the breakthrough win here two starts back after having looked to have thrown it away soon after the start. Despite the tough gate, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: THREE ONE FOUR (8), SURFER JOE (4), ROCKON ALLIE (2), OUR LITTLE SKIPPER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THREE ONE FOUR (8) to win

RACE THREE

BOUNTYHUNTER (3)
was working towards an account opening victory and franked that when breaking the maiden here last time out. A gritty 3rd when 1m from BAHAMAS MISS after sitting parked three back, he can take the confidence to go back-to-back.

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (6) worked home strongly here two starts back to grab the bronze when 3m from SHE DAZZLES. Darting through here last start from gate 1 to sit in the trail and take the winning shot up the passing lane. The wider gate makes it a tougher ask to make it a repeat.

BAHAMAS MISS (8) claimed her maiden breaking success here three starts back when easing from gate 4 before finishing over the top of them. Trailing through early she can chime in here.

GOTTALUVASUNDAYSESH (1) will appreciate the improved gate after his past four have all been from gates 5 or 6. Settling closer to the action will aid his chances of making a play for the prize.

SELECTIONS: BOUNTYHUNTER (3), ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (6), BAHAMAS MISS (8), GOTTALUVASUNDAYSESH (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BOUNTYHUNTER (3) to win

RACE FOUR

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (9) eased to find position from gate 3 last start over the AP mile on Monday, he was making some ground over the closing stages to finish just outside the money. Runner-up to RANCHO MAN here two starts back, he can swoop om them here.

MUSTANG DUDE (7) found the back of the leader from gate 2 last start and trying to make a closing raid to be withing 5m of the winner LA PISTOLA. Midfield the start prior, he will be sweating on being leaders back and if that scenario evolves and he can get the lane with momentum, he can challenge.

OFFICE BAD BOY (6) can have a line struck through his last start after making an error. Meeting tougher opposition over the AP mile the start prior, he can fill the podium from the wide gate.

ESSETNIAL THREE (1) is approaching two years since her last victory which came when leading throughout over this trip. Hustling through in this wide-open event, she can be clinging on.

SELECTIONS: MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (9), MUSTAND DUDE (7), OFFICE BAD BOY (6), ESSETNIAL THREE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (9) to win

RACE FIVE

ROCCO VARIETY (4)
has been in consistent form of late with placings in 4 of his past 6 starts. From the second line last time out, he did not have the smoothest passage yet was still under 3m from the winner. With arm hustle when required, he might just be able to pinch an open contest.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (9) faces a tough ask from outside the second line, yet she has been racing well in recent attempts, finishing as the runner-up in 3 of her past 5 attempts. Starting fav from this same alley last time when hitting the line strongly to be under 2m from the winner, she can challenge.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) eased from gate 5 last time out and from back in the pack was trying to make a closing play when 7m from LA PISTOLA. He looks set for a cosy trip here and will be probing.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (5) was a winner from the running line here three starts back after overcoming the outside second line. The wide gate stings but she can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: ROCCO VARIETY (4), HEAVENLY WISDOM (9), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7), GETALOADATHISGIRL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCCO VARIETY (4) to win

RACE SIX

PURPLE SHADES (9)
could not muster the speed to hold the leaders back last time out from inside the second line. Chasing hard over the closing stages to be 4m from the winner, he will be better suited wider and in a race that should generate some up-front tempo, he can descend on them.

MY SECRET BEACH (2) started from inside the second line last start and was shuffled back in the run, finding a late gap to grab 3rd. The outside second line gate over the AP mile the start prior was a hurdle too high but from this gate in this set up, can press the issue to be in a striking position.

PRECIOUS CULLEN (4) turned his form around here last week after sitting parked and holding on for a 5m margin. If he repeats that effort, he can be a player.

SUBTLE ADVICE (1) found conditions to claim a breakthrough last time out after easing from gate 6 and making the closing play a winning one. With a likely soft trip behind the speed, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: PURPLE SHADES (9), MY SECRET BEACH (2), PRECIOUS CULLEN (4), SUBTLE ADVICE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PURPLE SHADES (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAJOR TRALEE (1)
forced the issue from gate 3 two starts back when looking to take them all the way over the 2040 but could not see it out when fading to a 6m 3rd behind DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW. Seeing it out from gate 1 over this trip last start, he will be burrowing through trying to fight them off.

FLY CHEVAL (7) was a winner here two starts back when powering home over the top in the closing stages. Well beaten last start over the AP mile, she can secure the right trip behind the speed and if close enough when the gap arrives, throw down a closing challenge.

IMA BEACH BABE (2) has placed at her past two starts, both when starting from gate 1 from the pocket trail. Settling handy to the action, she can be thereabouts from this alley.

RANCHO MAN (4) landed a breakthrough win last week to overturn 32 previous attempts without a victory at this track. Building into that win after placings in 4 of his previous 5, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR TRALEE (1), FLY CHEVAL (7), IMA BEACH BABE (2), RANCHO MAN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7

RACE EIGHT

HEZ ON THE BUZZER (1)
will take benefit from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell for the new stable. Eased from gate 6 to find the running line, he was making late ground to be midfield. With the improved gate and added fitness, he finds the conditions to capitalise.

COURAGEOUS SAM (9) eased from gate 6 three starts back to settle at the rear of the field. Making a wide run over the closing stages to power home over the top. A beaten fav from gate 6 two starts back in grabbing the bronze, he can look to throw it down in the closing stages.

ROYAL PRINCESS (7) has been a model of consistency this season, hitting the board in 5 of her 6 appearances which includes a pair of wins. Taking them all the way over the sprint trip last start, she can follow the speed and join in.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (2) showed early hustle from gate 3 over the AP mile last start to find the front before releasing. Fighting on to hold 3rd behind NO MOTIVE, he can settle forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: HEZ ON THE BUZZER (1), COURAGEOUS SAM (9), ROYAL PRINCESS (7), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HEZ ON THE BUZZER (1) to win

RACE NINE

CHAINLINC (8)
should appreciate what looks a nice drop in grade from recent assignments where he has been doing a good job but just coming up short. 4th in a 70Final last start behind MELTON BEACH, he was only 2m away in the heat behind MR MCLAREN. He looks to get the trip to arrive.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (2) lands her best gate this season and should appreciate a return to The Triangle where she is a five-time winner. Contesting mare’s qualifiers in recent attempts, she was making late ground last start when 7m from NOR WESTA. Settling handy from this gate, she can challenge.

ANIMADO (9) landed the ace in a qualifier over the 2138 last time out and shuffled to three back was making some late ground to grab the bronze behind THE HIGH COMMANDER. He can chime in.

ROCK NIEN (4) was not suited when sent forward to sit parked last start over the AP mile in strong time. Striking trouble two back behind HY VOLTAGE, with even luck he can grab a podium here.

SELECTIONS: CHAINLINC (8), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (2), ANIMADO (9), ROCK NIEN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAINLINC (8) to win
