RACE ONE

After three runs back from a spell from wider gates, KEY LARGO (3) finally secures the conditions to utilise his biggest asset which is his blazing speed off the arm. Snagged off the gate from alley 7 and settled back in the pack last start, he can run the arm, be in front and look to see it out.

ESCALERA (4) tackled the 2138 trip in this grade last start and was making nice metres in the latter stages to chase home for the bronze behind subsequent Saturday night winner KANYE CRUSADER. Only 6m away from a second line gate the start prior, he can settle handy enough to challenge.

KASH US BACK (10) just keeps coming up short, having finished as the runner up on 8 occasions this season, including the past six in succession. He can be chiming in again for some more minor money.

HIPSTAR (7) made an error last start that ended his chances. Attacking the line strongly the start prior to grab the silver, the gate stings his hopes but he can still be a big player.

SELECTIONS: KEY LARGO (3), ESCALERA (4), KASH US BACK (10), HIPSTAR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KEY LARGO (3) to win

RACE TWO

After four starts in Qld ELOUISA DALE (5) might have found the conditions for her first victory. Buried last week from inside the second line as the fav and never sighting space, it followed an out the back return after striking trouble in the run. Out to the middle trip should be no issue.

SOHO CASABLANCA (1) has been freshened since his last start victory when grinding out a tough win after sitting parked. Rolling forward from gate 6 to graft it out over the mile on that occasion, he lands the improved alley and can secure the right trip to issue the challenge.

STANDANDELIVER (11) was second up in Qld and from a spell when making late ground for 3rd behind LOUS DREAM. His record is a query at the middle trip, but with the right run can chime in.

STRONG RESPONSE (3) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when sitting parked and holding on for the silver behind the dictating ARTISTIC SAINT. The middle trip is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: ELOUISA DALE (5), SOHO CASABLANCA (1), STANDANDELIVER (11), STRONG RESPONSE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ELOUISA DALE (5) to win

RACE THREE

The early speed and tempo looks intriguing here and could throw up some mapping uncertainties. First up in Qld last start, MY ULTIMATE LEVI (6) tackled the APG Bullion and led them up from gate 3. Holding on for 3rd behind the huge run from SPEAK THE TRUTH, he can bounce back in this.

WHEREYABINTWISTIN (5) will be second up this Qld trip and should strip fitter following her first up performance when midfield chasing LOUS DREAM. Facing the outside second line in that contest, she moves back to a tricky front line alley, but with the added fitness can throw down the challenge.

AMAMI (8) is at risk of being buried on the poles from this gate and will be searching for some openings. Left wide and forced to retreat last start, he can challenge with any ounce of luck.

BETTING ORIGIN (1) was first up from a spell last start when eased from the wide gate and trying to make ground as LOUS DREAM arrived. With the early options from this alley, he can join in.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (6), WHEREYABINTWISTIN (5), AMAMI (8), BETTING ORIGIN (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

With placings in 4 of her past 5 starts, with the past 3 from wide gates, KEAYANG TARA (1) looks to have found the conditions for a breakthrough. Making nice closing metres last start when 5m from GROVE DALE after she started from gate 6, she has the gate advantage here to capitalise.

GROVE DALE (4) showed a liking for some Autumn Sun last week when having his first appearance in Qld. Sent straight to the front, he was never in danger in holding a 4m margin. This will be a tougher battle but with some wining confidence can be handy enough to make a challenge.

ENGLISH DANCE (8) found the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe and was trying to make a late raid when best of the chasers behind the smart MADRIGAL. With an economical trip, he has podium claims.

TOMMY BLIGH (5) darted through on the passing lane last start to grab the silver behind BRONSKI DELIGHT. A Marburg winner two starts back, the gate is tricky here, but he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG TARA (1), GROVE DALE (4), ENGLISH DANCE (8), TOMMY BLIGH (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Wide off the track last start when trying to make his run, LANCELOT BROMAC (9) just peaked in the stretch as GROVE DALE took them all the way. Out late to grab 3rd behind subsequent Saturday night winner WISPER A SECRET two starts back, the race profile looks to suit ideally for the old boy to chalk another one up.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1) might just have found the conditions to break a win drought, with the drop to 30-40 grade a huge plus, with the added benefit of snaring the ace. Making late metres for the bronze two starts back behind COLBY ART, he has the options here to throw it down.

HESLUVABLE (2) was sent out as fav here on Fri from gate 7 and after the tough trip sitting parked, had to settle for the silver behind IM A CLASSY GIRL. The improved gate gives him a solid hope.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (6) has bene in consistent touch of late, the latest when grabbing the silver in a Trot Rods 947m sprint. The wide gate stings, but she has the versatility to chime in.

SELECTIONS: LANCELOT BROMAC (9), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1), HESLUVABLE (2), HEAVENLY WISDOM (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-9 / 1-2-5-6-9

RACE SIX

Backing up from Saturday night where she was straight to the front, RILEY MOMENT (3) was never headed to take them all the way. Gunned down in front the start prior after looking to lead throughout, she can get to the front once again here and will be gripping on.

HAMMER SON (2) was locked away on the poles last start and when the gap arrived, he was able to find the speed to descend on them to take a 3m margin. Making a late rally for 3rd to ZEALOUS SPUR the start prior, he can be handy enough with his manners to issue the challenge.

JACCKA WATCH (5) was stuck searching for position here on Saturday night and was forced to retreat and then from rearward was never a factor. Getting forward cheapy can see him in the mix.

IM THE COMMANDO (6) progressed to the McNeil Final and was trying to make a late raid in finishing under 10m from the winner HAMMER SON. He can get away smartly from 10m to feature.

SELECTIONS: RILEY MOMENT (3), HAMMER SON (2), JACCKA WATCH (5), IM THE COMMANDO (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  RILEY MOMENT (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

Slowly working her way back into some nice touch, AURORA (8) has been facing the same impost she has for this contest. Buried in the run last start and striking trouble as well, she was able to finish strongly over the closing stages to grab 3rd. Attacking the line smartly three back, this is within reach.

HIDE AND SEEK (1) makes his first appearance in Qld and will be having his first 3YO outing after a 2YO term that netted a pair of wins in five starts. A heat winner of the VicBred Series before making an error in the Final when starting fav, he trialled well enough to suggest he can throw it down fresh.

TOP OF THE MOMENT (5) is a 4YO having his first start in Qld for Chantal Turpin and arrives with just one start to his name. Giving away plenty of experience to his rivals here, he did trial in nice order.

DEXTROUS DEXTER (2) was safely away from the tapes last start and found the front and looked for an all the way effort. Holding on for 2nd as HOLD MY HAT DOUG collared him late, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: AURORA (8), HIDE AND SEEK (1), TOP OF THE MOMENT (5), DEXTROUS DEXTER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

Given no favours from the outside front line for his debut race, FACT FINDER (7) showed good manners and speed in his qualifying trial. An American Ideal colt trained by Trent Dawson, he has the breeding on his side and off the trial effort, finds a winnable first up contest.

ROAD TO SARINA (1) was banished to the trial after her debut performance when trailing the field home behind MORE SASS. Having trialled in nice order in readiness for her debut, she gained the return ticket with another tidy effort at the trials. If she can bring it to race day, she can challenge.

CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (4) grabbed 3rd to DRAGON in the APG Bullion heat and may have been closer than the 11m margin with a clearer passage. He can be chiming in here.

ROCKON ROCKY (9) made an error as they were approaching the mobile last start but filled his position and led before taking the trail. Holding on for 3rd behind ELLIS STREET, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: FACT FINDER (7), ROAD TO SARINA (1), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (4), ROCKON ROCKY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FACT FINDER (7) to win
