RACE ONE

Just the small field of three-year-old trotters to do battle where DEXTROUS DEXTER (4) can look to defy the wide gate. Fading out after a sapping opening quarter last start, he was a winner under these conditions three starts back. He can look to add another to the tally.

MISS MEMPHIS (2) will take good benefit from her return last start where she showed some early hustle before taking a trail. Holding on for the bronze behind the impressive winner HIDE AND SEEK, she finds the right set up to dart across and chase a maiden breaking win.
UWOHALI (3) has had three runs back this campaign, with errors ending her chances in the past two. Runner-up to DEXTROUS DEXTER when resuming, her manners are the key to her chances.

SELECTIONS: DEXTROUS DEXTER (4), MISS MEMPHIS (2), UWOHALI (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

A few different points to consider in this mixed maiden with a number of debutants. Having her second career start but first since arriving from NZ, GOLDEN FIRE (1) secures the right gate to capitalise in this field. With a sharp trial behind seasoned campaigners, she can strike first up.

FLYING COLOURS (6) was first up in Aus last start when firing out from gate 1 and looking to take them all the way. Grabbed in the closing stages by subsequent winner BRILLIANT ART, a return to maiden company is a big plus and he can throw down the challenge.

HASTY BID (4) resumes from a spell after a two-start 2YO season where her was runner-up on debut to ALTA MAGACIAN. With a pair of sound trials, he can feature fresh.

REASON TO SHINE (2) is a 2YO filly on debut for Shannon Price that has shown good manners in readiness for the first appearance.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN FIRE (1), FLYING COLOURS (6), HASTY BID (4), REASON TO SHINE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN FIRE (1) to win

RACE THREE

In what could be a tricky early mapping dilemma, REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8) will be sweating on the 1 holding the front. The second issue will then be getting to the passing lane with momentum. If both those factors are in his favour, then his chances rise exponentially and after a win three back, this is within reach.

JET FORCE (3) was sent to the post as fav last start over the Redcliffe 1780 from outside the second line. Trying to launch late when 8m in arrears of the winner, it followed a luckless effort here two starts back. A winner at The Triangle three starts back, he can be close enough to throw it down.

LANCELOT BROMAC (4) keeps on keeping on and breaks his usual Tuesday routine to make a Friday appearance here at HQ. Not suited last start at the 2138, back to this trip can see him in the mix.

DIEGO DELGADO (1) has placed in three of his past four starts, the latest when asked to graft it out first over and holding 3rd at Redcliffe. He can burrow through here and try to fight them off.

SELECTIONS: REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8), JET FORCE (3), LANCELOT BROMAC (4), DIEGO DELGADO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

Backing up from Tuesday afternoon where he was wide off the track for a majority of the trip, MOS LONDON (5) finds the right conditions here to bounce back with vengeance. Still finishing midfield behind BRILLINAT ART in what was his first run in 18 months, he can cash in here.

DARED TO DREAM (2) broke the maiden tag at Redcliffe two starts back and was immediately sent for a break. Resuming here last start from gate 5 when holding 3rd behind VINCERO, she will strip fitter from the run and from the gate lands her chance to issue a challenge.

THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (6) makes her first Qld appearance after crossing the Tasman. Arriving with one victory to her name, she has trialled well enough to feature here fresh up.

COUNT MONTECARLO (8) has placed in all three starts on his Winter trip, the latest when trying to launch the closing raid on MYNAMESEVAN. He finds the right conditions to add another minor.

SELECTIONS: MOS LONDON (5), DARED TO DREAM (2), THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (6), COUNT MONTECARLO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MOS LONDON (5) to win

RACE FIVE

Stepping out in this grade for the third time, RECIPE FOR DREAMING (5) can look to make it a case of third time lucky. Chasing from the second line last start behind QUEENSLANDER, the start prior he was 3m from the winner SARASUN. He can press the button off the arm and looks to get his chance.

KEAYANG TARA (7) was buried in the run from gate 1 last start when finishing in the second half of the pack behind ELOUISA DALE. Beaten a head here two starts back, the gate makes it a tough ask, but she has been consistent and in the 30-40 company can be issuing a challenge.

POM PAY (9) faced the outside second line at Redcliffe last start and was wide off the track when trying to make a closing raid. Unplaced in two appearances here, she can chime in.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (10) has placed at his past two starts, the latest via the passing lane to be 3m in arrears. A similar margin from subsequent winner SIR BOSTON two starts back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: RECIPE FOR DREAMING (5), KEAYANG TARA (7), POM PAY (9), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: RECIPE FOR DREAMING (5) to win

RACE SIX

Developing a smart record since relocating to the Sunshine State, BLING THE LUCK (1) added a victory in this deck to her CV to complement her 4 from 4 at Redcliffe. Securing the 1x1 trail, she owned the closing power to take a 2m margin and with the speed to lead here, can chase a repeat.

MAJOR HOLIDAY (8) eased from gate 5 at Redcliffe last start and was strong to the line wide off the track when runner-up to ILLBEWATCHING. A winner three starts back when taking them all the way from gate 1, he will get the economical trip here and be ready to take his shot when the gap arrives.

BONUS BET (6) was chasing four on the bounce at Redcliffe last start when stepping out in Qld for the first time but trailed the field home. The wide gate does not make it any easier for this.

FLO RYDA (10) will be reliant on some tempo which on paper this race looks to generate. 3rd in a Trot Rods scamper last start, he has placed in 3 of his past 4 and can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: BLING THE LUCK (1), MAJOR HOLIDAY (8), BONUS BET (6), FLO RYDA (10)
SUGGESTED BET:  BLING THE LUCK (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

A winner here two starts back at his first Qld appearance, VINCERO (8) was shuffled back from gate 1 before slicing between them to rattle home on the passing lane to score. Chasing from the second line last start as TUNGSTEN TERROR controlled it in front, he can stalk the speed in readiness to strike.

RANCHO MAN (1) burrowed through from gate 1 at Redcliffe last start and was trying to see it out from the front when collared in the last strides as SIR BOSTON gained the verdict. With the arm hustle to lead them up here, he will be looking to fight off the challengers in the stretch.

KELLY LOUISE (9) capitalised off the front line here last start when sent to the front and seeing it out with a half-neck to spare on the wire. With early second line options, she can chime in here.

WHATA TERROR (7) is afforded no favours from the outside paint here but with the right trip can fill a podium spot in this line up. 4m away last start, he will be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: VINCERO (8), RANCHO MAN (1), KELLY LOUISE (9), WHATA TERROR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: VINCERO (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

In a race where the 2138m trip might just sort some of these out, SHEZ ALL STYLE (5) can bring solid numbers at the distance and was a smart winner two starts back. Meeting a smart one in FOR REAL LIFE last start, she controlled it in front two back to score. Rolling forward, this looks within reach.

PEPPA BLISS (12) faces an ask from the outside second line gate, but with the right trip, she can be finishing off strongly. Midfield last stat from gate 10 when angled to the poles for short cuts, she was game in defeat when 4m from NAVAGIO two starts back. She can issue the closing challenge.

SAN MAREA (6) tackled the 3YO Fillies Breeders Classic last time out when searching for a gap that did not open in time when 8m from TORQUE LIKE MOTION. The gate makes it a tough ask.

LULU MAE (1) is a newcomer to Qld and joins the Mark Dux stable as a four-time winner. Working hard in the run last start when sent forward from the second line at Junee, the gate helps here fresh.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ ALL STYLE (5), PEPPA BLISS (12), SAN MAREA (6), LULU MAE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

The draw looks right for ELOUISA DALE (2) to capitalise here as she looks to build on her handy record here at The Creek where she has been in the money at 5 of her 8 appearances. Claiming her first win on this deck two starts back in a mare’s qualifier, she was strong to the line last start for 2nd.

MY ULTIMATE LEVI (10) has not had much go his way in four starts for Matt Elkins, the latest when buried from inside the second line as STROGN RESPONSE carved it out in front. Forced to work hard in getting forward two starts back in a midfield finish, with the smallest slice of luck, he can throw it down.
POLKA DELIGHT (12) was having her first look at this track last start when chasing home from the second line to grab 2nd behind STRONG RESPONSE. The outside second line is not ideal.

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (3) has been in consistent form in recent starts, the latest when closing out in nice style when runner-up to BETTOR TO BE TRICKY. The distance does pose a query.

SELECTIONS: ELOUISA DALE (2), MY ULTIMATE LEVI (10), POLKA DELIGHT (12), MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

In an open contest to close the card, this race should generate good tempo. If BIG SHADOW (8) can hold the back of the likely leader and get the gap with momentum, he can be the one to grab the prize. Buried from this gate at his first Qld run last start, he changes stables and is up to this.

MIDNIGHT CALM (4) has had two runs back from a freshen, the latest when attacking the line in smart fashion to finish 4m from the winner CLASS TO THE MAX. Buried in the run the start prior and never sighting a gap, limiting any early burn can see him issue a challenge in this set up.

RED RIGHT HAND (9) was runner-up in the heat and final of a 70Series at his first two Qld appearances and then copped LEAP TO FAME third up. With the right trip he is right in this.

SUBSTITOOTH (1) has proved to be enigmatic since arriving in Qld with two powerhouse victories, a stable change and a few unanswered questions as a beaten fav. From the gate, he gets his chance to put the bite on them.

SELECTIONS: BIG SHADOW (8), MIDNIGHT CALM (4), RED RIGHT HAND (9), SUBSTITOOTH (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG SHADOW (8) win
