RACE ONE

MINARUA (8)
has yet to hit the board in 11 career appearances but is slowly working towards the account opener. Eased to the poles last start when finishing in 4th behind FIELDOFFICER JUJON, she might just have found the right conditions to get on the board in a wide-open maiden.

MYNAMESEVAN (1) makes his first 3YO appearance after a 2YO term that returned one 2nd placing in five starts. Fading out at his last run of the prep behind GIRL FROM ROSEDALE, he has not publicly trialled but from this gate in this line up, he must be taken on trust.

TRUE ORIGINS (2) held on for 3rd last start behind OLLIE OLLIE at The Creek after holding the trail from gate 1. Trying to mount a closing raid two runs back on this deck, she has the gate to feature.

MAGIC NITRO (4) returns from a spell after finishing midfield back in January from gate 1. With no public trial to prepare for the return, she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: MINARUA (8), MYNAMESEVAN (1), TRUE ORIGINS (2), MAGIC NITRO (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

BARROOM BLITZ (1) was a debut winner when taking them all the way from this same gate back in August last year. In the 18 runs that have followed, she has been able to grab another 6 minors, the most recent three runs back when 3rd to HARLEY BLUE. Conditions arrive again for her to cash in.

MAJOR PAINT (2) found the pocket trail last start from gate 2 at HQ and chased hard to hold on for the bronze behind SIR BOSTON. 7m in arrears of the winner two starts back after a similar trip, he has early hustle to get forward and issue the challenge.

COUNT MONTECARLO (7) takes his first look at The Triangle for visiting trainer Monica Betts after a last start 3rd over the AP mile behind MAJOR HOLIDAY. If a gap arrives in time, he can feature.

HEAVENS BABY (8) returns from a spell after breaking through for her first victory at her last start back in January. Placed in both runs leading into that win, she will improve of this appearance.

SELECTIONS: BARROOM BLITZ (1), MAJOR PAINT (2), COUNT MONTECARLO (7), HEAVENS BABY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BARROOM BLITZ (1) to win

RACE THREE

MOLLIDOR (1)
has stamped the winner’s logbook just once in the 18 months she has been plying her trade in Qld, with that win coming in February of 2022. Keen in the run when buried against the poles last start over the AP mile, the set up and opposition looks right for her to capitalise.

FEEL THE THRILL (3) can get out of the machine when called on and might just be able to get down to the poles first here. Under that scenario his chances would exponentially rise. Unable to go with them when chasing in recent starts, a cheap time in front gives him a challenging chance.

LORD DENZEL (4) should appreciate a front-line gate after his past four in succession have been from the second line. Chasing from four back the poles last start behind BETTING BARON, he has claims.

WHATA REACTOR (5) was a winner here five runs back when finishing over the top of them after facing a second line gate. Collared in the closing stages last start when leading, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MOLLIDOR (1), FEEL THE THRILL (3), LORD DENZEL (4), WHATA REACTOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MOLLIDOR (1) to win

RACE FOUR

POM PAY (7) eased from gate 6 over the AP mile last start and was making good metres in the closing stages to finish 7m from the winner FOR NO REASON. Missing a top-two finishing position just once in her five attempts here at Redcliffe, she just needs a touch of luck to see the space.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (3) has been winless since January of 2021 and not much has really gone his way in recent starts. Wide off the track last start after starting from the second line, he secures his chance to get handy here and make a play for the prize.

THE CROM (1) was wide off the track last start at Marburg when finishing 8m from the winner. With the soft trip on offer, he can be probing for some minor money in this.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8) was sent forward from the second line to sit parked last start and after the tough trip faded in the latter stages. With the right trip, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: POM PAY (7), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (3), THE CROM (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: POM PAY (7) to win

RACE FIVE

WHATA TERROR (6)
is a query at the 2040m trip for this contest, having never been able to capitalise beyond 1780. Just a head from the winner over the AP mile last start after starting from gate 10, he finds a suitable set up to get on the board at the middle trip.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (7) will take further benefit from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Locked away three back from this same gate, he was probing for the gaps when 6m in arrears of the winner. He will again be searching for open road.

DIEGO DELGADO (1) has been runner-up at his past two starts, attempting to see it out from the front in each. Nabbed late when a half-head away last time, the middle trip is a big concern.

TRACER BULLET (8) was asked to do it the tough way last start when parked from gate 2 where he was game to the wire in holding 3rd. He can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: WHATA TERROR (6), THE CASUAL GOOSE (7), DIEGO DELGADO (1), TRACER BULLET (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA TERROR (6) to win

RACE SIX

MISTER HART (2)
started an even money favourite last start when setting the speed from gate 1 but collared in the closing stages, forced to settle for the silver. That was a big improvement on his barriers from recent starts and he once again gets the chance to attempt an all the way victory.

ILLBEWATCHING (7) is never too far from the action but will be relying on some gaps opening to offer a challenge for this contest. 7m away when finishing midfield last start, he placed in both previous runs and if the gap opens, he can flash late.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (8) returns from a spell after his last outing saw him finish 7m adrift of the winner ROCKSLIDE. Having his first start for Mitchell Dawson, he can grab some minor money.

DREAMERS DELIGHT (1) is a newcomer to Qld to join the Dixon stable. Having shown little speed out of the machine last campaign, she stays under watch first up.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (2), ILLBEWATCHING (7), MAJOR MISCHIEF (8), DREAMERS DELIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:  MISTER HART (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

ROCKSLIDE (5)
should appreciate a return to the peninsula where his record shows eight wins, including wins at each of his past three appearances here. A tough winner from gate 6 four runs back, he followed it with a 3rd in qualifying company. He can defy the gate.

LUXURY LAD (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing, stepping out for the fourth time since returning from a spell. Settled rearward from outside the second line in a strong Saturday night fixture, he closed smartly for the bronze when 7m away. The gate is a huge plus.

LITTLE CHANGE (3) has capitalised from gate 1 at his past two starts, taking the trail and darting by to claim the prize in each. Settling handy to the action can see him in the mix once again.

BLACKJACK BART (7) is still looking for his first win at this venue after 13 attempts have fallen short. Runner-up here three back and followed by a 3rd, he can be tucked away in readiness for the lane.

SELECTIONS: ROCKSLIDE (5), LUXURY LAD (1), LITTLE CHANGE (3), BLACKJACK BART (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKSLIDE (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

HESTON ZOOLANDER (8)
was snookered in the run last start over the AP mile when trying to find a way clear and finishing 4m from the winner SPEAK WITH SAM. Setting the speed from gate 6 the start prior, he can follow through in the early stages and has the ability to power up.

CHAINLINC (9) was buried in the run last start from inside the second line and was trying to make a closing raid when under 5m from the winner LITTLE BOLT. With smart numbers here on The Triangle, he will appreciate a hot tempo and can be finishing hard to issue the challenge.

HE SAID SHE SAID (2) was trying to see it out from this gate last time out and led them deep into the stretch, only to be collared in the closing strides when beaten a half-head. He can get across early.

THE GROGFATHER (5) is a two-time winner on this deck and gets back to Thursday company after tackling Saturday night quality at his past four runs. He can roll the sleeves to stake a claim.

SELECTIONS: HESTON ZOOLANDER (8), CHAINLINC (9), HE SAID SHE SAID (2), THE GROGFATHER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HESTON ZOOLANDER (8) to win

RACE NINE

CHAL BE (4)
was a winner from gate 3 here three runs back when pressing forward to take control and form the front was able to see it out. Wide gates have dented his hopes at his past two starts and with the chance to stoke the fires early, can get forward where he does his best work.

THE GROGMOTHER (2) worked down to the poles after being caught wide and then buried in the run got caught up in traffic. Finishing closer if the gaps were available, she was out of the money when trying to lead throughout two runs back. With early hustle, she can throw it down.

MACH TORQUE (1) grabbed her first win of the season last time out when finishing best over the 2040 trip. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior, she has the right gate to feature.

COURAGEOUS SAM (6) has no favours from the outside paint in this after being a beaten fav last start when 4m from the winner TORQUE WITH ESTEEM. He can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: CHAL BE (4), THE GROGMOTHER (2), MACH TORQUE (1), COURAGEOUS SAM (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
