RACE ONE

MISSTREPO (7)
eased from gate 4 to find position last start over this trip and might have finished a little closer with better luck over the latter stages to find open space. Striking trouble from a dud gate at Marburg the start prior, she gets the chance to stalk the speed and issue the closing shot.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1) was staring down a hat-trick of wins last start when fired off the arm from gate 2 to look for an all the way victory. Setting a sizzling early tempo, she faded over the closing stages to finish out of the money. From the gate and controlling the tempo, she can throw it down.

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (6) capitalised here two starts back from gate 1 by taking them all the way. Beaten by this gate last start when finishing midfield, it is another tough ask from the outside paint.

ONE LAST ROLL (3) was a Marburg winner four starts back when pressing through from the second line. Runner-up at his next two starts, he sat parked from gate 5 here last start when out of the money. A closer alley helps.

SELECTIONS: MISSTREPO (7), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1), MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (6), ONE LAST ROLL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MISSTREPO (7) to win

RACE TWO

COLBY ART (2) was a winner here five starts back when holding them wide from gate 1 to lead throughout. Backing that up with another win from gate 3 at his next appearance, not much has been in his favour at his past three starts. This looks his chance to take control and see it out.

AQUA CRUISER (1) was a Marburg winner four starts back when burrowing through from gate 1 to set the speed and take them all the way. Drawn the second line at his past three in succession, he was searching for openings last start when snookered. He has options from the gate to challenge.

ROCK HAMMER (7) faced the outside front line over the AP mile last start and was running into dead ends up the stretch. Wide off the track at Marburg the start prior, he will be sweating on the 1 leading.

TOUCH OF TERROR (9) is a newcomer to Qld having his first race appearance for trainer Ryan Veivers. With a pair of trials in readiness for his first start since June, he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: COLBY ART (2), AQUA CRUISER (1), ROCK HAMMER (7), TOUCH OF TERROR (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

RISKY BUZINESS (2)
has good speed out of the machine and from this gate can look to find the front. At his best when setting the tempo, he was a winner over the AP mile four runs back from the front. Barriers have been against him in the three runs since and this is his chance to bounce back.

BUKTHSYSTEM (8) landed the ace last start and releasing for the trail then had the closing speed to arrive for the prize. Building towards that win after finishing as the runner-up in successive starts, he can follow through early and position to issue the challenge.

MISTER DELWIN (1) struck trouble in the APG Bullion Final three runs back and at his next run faced a second line gate. Chasing from back in the pack last start, he can tuck in behind the speed and chime in.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (3) grabbed the silver in a Trot Rods scamper three runs back and has since faced wide gates in the two runs since. Settling closer from this alley can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: RISKY BUZINESS (2), BUKTHSYSTEM (8), MISTER DELWIN (1), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: RISKY BUZINESS (2) to win

RACE FOUR

RAWORTH GIRL (6) eased in the early stages last start before making a mid-race move to get outside the leader. Fighting hard to the wire thereafter, she held on for the silver behind the passing lane winner VODKA EN ICE. 3m away the start prior, this looks within reach despite the wide alley.

TRALEE MAXIE (5) comes through the same race as RAWORTH GIRL last time out where he was hemmed away three back after easing from gate 4, finishing 5m away from the winner. Not too far from subsequent winner SOHO CASABLANCA the start prior, he is moving closer to a Qld victory.

POPPY RAE (3) was a winner on debut here five runs back when slicing between runners to claim the cash. Taking on a much tougher contest last start from the ODM embargo, she is in the mix.

CHAKANA (4) has had a busy five days after a run here on Thursday and is on the back up from the Marburg Show on Saturday. Settling handy to the action aids her chances of grabbing a placing.

SELECTIONS: RAWORTH GIRL (6), TRALEE MAXIE (5), POPPY RAE (3), CHAKANA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RAWORTH GIRL (6) to win

RACE FIVE

AFTER DARN (1)
is at a stage in her career where she needs the factors in her favour in order to capitalise. Those favours have not been there in recent starts, the latest when not too far away from gate 3. With the benefit of gate 1 to use her early speed, she gets every chance to lead throughout.

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (7) faced the outside front line gate last start and eased back to the rear to find position. Not really receiving a clear passage when searching for openings, it followed a fade out at Marburg after setting the tempo. He can stalk the speed here in readiness for open road.

BETTING BARON (9) has hit the board at his past three in succession, the latest when taking a trail from gate 1 and finishing 3rd behind JET FORCE. Taking them all the way two back, he can chime in.

ROLLONX (8) made the most of the ace draw last start, firing through to keep them wide and seeing it out from the front with a 6m margin to spare. Fitter again from that third up run, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: AFTER DARN (1), MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (7), BETTING BARON (9), ROLLONX (8)
SUGGESTED BET: AFTER DARN / MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (1/7) quinellas/exactas

RACE SIX

PERFECT FEELING (5)
tackled much stronger grade two back and then was a winner in this grade last start from inside the second line. Eased off the poles to work around them, it was a sustained run as he worked three wide at the bell and was able to grind out a 1m margin. He can chase a repeat win.

SMOKING ZAK (3) had the speed out of the machine from gate 2 to set the tempo last time out and from the front was looking to take them all the way. Finishing out of the money in a blanket finish where he was under 2m from the winner, he can fire the early bullets to challenge again here.

FLASH FREDDIE (8) returned from a spell in nice order to claim a Trot Rods one lapper here two starts back. Strong to the line to grab 3rd when just 1m away last start, he can be joining in again.

SPORTY AZZ (4) should appreciate a return to the front line after his past 3 have been from the back row. Taking inside runs last time when just 1m from PERFECT FEELING, he can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: PERFECT FEELING (5), SMOKING ZAK (3), FLASH FREDDIE (8), SPORTY AZZ (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  PERFECT FEELING (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

DESTINY BLUES (1)
burrowed through to hold the front over the Marburg sprint two starts back but was unable to see it out. Unable to go with them over the AP mile last start, she has the early speed to avail the options and with a soft trip would be well placed to issue a closing shot.

LARA BAY (2) was asked to do it the tough way here two starts back and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages as BETTING BARON saw it out. Eased to find position from gate 4 last start, she can force the issue here and if able to steady the tempo in front, is up to pinching this.

BELLA GODIVA (7) finished at the tail of the field last start over the Marburg 1850. Trying to see it out from the front at Kilcoy two runs back, she looks set to be tucked away here and will be probing.

CROSSED LEGS (8) has placed in both runs back from a spell, the latest when sent out in red figures here on The Triangle from gate 5. Sitting parked when only a half-neck away, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: DESTINY BLUES (1), LARA BAY (2), BELLA GODIVA (7), CROSSED LEGS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE EIGHT

CIRCLE LINE (6)
held the 1x1 trail from the second line last start but when pulled three-wide just laboured to the line behind BUKTHSYSTEM. Despite the wide gate, a return to 30-40 company is in his favour and he can work forward to chase down what would be his 10th win on this deck.

MAN OF ACTION (5) was beaten by a wide gate last start at Marburg when forced to retreat after trying to find a spot. Down the line from behind the tapes the start prior, he can press forward and finding the running line finds an open enough contest to make a play.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (8) backs up from Thursday at Redcliffe where he led them up but was unable to finish it off when fading to midfield. He can follow through early to feature.

MAMMALS DESTINY (4) was 6m in arrears of the winner last start and may have been closer if the gap arrived sooner. Finding position cheaply will be her best chance of finishing in the money.

SELECTIONS: CIRCLE LINE (6), MAN O F ACTION (5), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (8), MAMMALS DESTINY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CIRCLE LINE (6) to win
