RACE ONE

A tricky one to open the card with the early mapping a tough read. FREDDY SINGH (5) faded last start at Redcliffe when sitting parked through a strong last 800. Strong to the line the start prior after being buried in the run, he can get forward again here and be better on the big deck.

ALTA CLASSIC (10) put together a hat-trick of victories on The Triangle before coming here to The Creek and finishing strongly from this same gate to grab the silver behind a dictating MORESCO. He will be relying on some tempo again to pack some closing heat.

MISTER REACTOR (8) attacked the line strongly from deep field here two starts back and then last time didn’t pack the same closing power. Coiled here, he can chase a podium return.

ROSES ARE SWEET (4) was in the thick of it in a sub 27 opening panel last start before releasing at the 1000 and despite being out of bullets fought to the wire. An easier 1st split will aid her chances.

SELECTIONS: FREDDY SINGH (5), ALTA CLASSIC (10), MISTER REACTOR (8), ROSES ARE SWEET (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Contesting the Redcliffe Derby last start when facing a second line gate, DON HUGO (2) can settle closer to the action from this alley. A slick all the way winner two runs back in a Redcliffe recon mission, those back in the pack were always out if last start with a 54.7 closing half. Too strong here.

CLASS TO THE MAX (8) tried to see them off from the front here two starts back when collared by MO SZYSLAK, going under by a half-head margin. The chasers found it tough last start as AWAYWEGO carved out a sub 55 closing half and with a smother run here, he can challenge.

MORESCO (1) loves to roll in front and comes up with the gate to match her pattern. Taking them all the way last start in a career PB from this gate, she can chase the repeat.

ALWAYSBME (6) is afforded no favours from the wide gate, but she is never too far away. Strong to the line last start from outside the second line, she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: DON HUGO (2), CLASS TO THE MAX (8), MORESCO (1), ALWAYSBME (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DON HUGO (2) to win

RACE THREE

Despite the wide gate, SWEETHEART BART (6) can show the strength of the Redcliffe Derby form by bouncing back into winning form here. Too far back from the outside second line at Redcliffe, he came to Qld off the back of a tough Goulburn run when parked. HE can defy the wide alley.

ALEXIA ROSE (4) faced the inside second line last start and was soon snookered in the run when 7m from RACY ROXY. Asked to sit parked the start prior when midfield, she can look to get across them early from this gate and give cheek from the front end.

WINDY HILL WALLY (1) was forced to retreat last start and was soon too far back to get into the battle. A Redcliffe winner two starts back, he can be tucked in behind the action ready to offer.

MAGICAL MAYA (10) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest a game effort at Redcliffe when parked and running the winner to a neck margin. The gate makes the task no easier.

SELECTIONS: SWEETHEART BART (6), ALEXIA ROSE (4), WINDY HILL WALLY (1), MAGICAL MAYA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEETHEART BART (6) to win

RACE FOUR

A last start passing lane victory to MISTER FONZI (2) after releasing from gate 1 might just be replicated again here in a tricky contest. With early speed he can look for the fence and then take cover. Runner-up two starts back at Redcliffe, he can be handy enough to capitalise.

IM BOO (4) was beaten for early hustle last week but eased off the fence and reengaged to work to the front after a sub 27 opening split. Trying to fight them off form the front, he held on for the bronze as ARMA RENEGADE arrived. He can press forward again here to throw it down.

STOMPEM (1) lands all the options here as he has enough arm hustle to burrow through early. Asked to hang tough when racing first over last start and beaten 2m, he can feature again here.

LAST TIME JOE (7) is given no favours from the outside paint, but he has been a model of consistency this season with a cheque in 10 of his 12 appearances which includes 4 wins.

SELECTIONS: MISTER FONZI (2), IM BOO (4), STOMPEM (1),LAST TIME JOE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

In a race where there is some front-line speed, APOLLO DREAMZ (10) will be hoping that the first 600 is genuine enough for him to work into the contest. Descending on them to score here three stars back, his past two have been in strong 3YO company and the right trip can see him arrive.

GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (3) is a gazelle out of the gate but cops no favours with the ODM embargo. Likely to still charge forward, she was able to take them all the way with 7m to spare here two starts back, then last start made an error at Redcliffe. If able to pinch a panel, she will be hard to stop.

ROCK SUPREME (1) has been hitting some nice areas in recent starts and lines up here with 3 wins and 2 minors in his past five starts. A grinding 3rd last start when parked, he will be probing.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (5) was locked away on the fence last start and when the gap arrived was able to get through to grab the bronze behind EXCITING TIMES. The gate makes it awkward.

SELECTIONS: APOLLO DREAMZ (10), GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (3), ROCK SUPREME (1), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: APOLLO DREAMZ (10) to win

RACE SIX

With all the options at her disposal from this gate, MACARENA MADI (1) looks to have found the right race to seize her opportunity. Trying to take them all the way last start at Redcliffe when missing the money, she held 3rd behind subsequent winner ARODA here two starts back.

TORQUE TOHE MUSIC (9) was a winner here three starts back from this same gate when making a move at the 1100 to get around outside the leader and then grind out the prize. Beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating early, he can get the trail through early to issue a challenge.

HARRY KANE (4) eased from gate 6 last time out at Redcliffe and from back in the pack had the closing power to finish over the top of them to score. Positioning cheaply will be key to his hopes.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (2) was locked away three back on the inside last start from gate 1 as WHERES OUR MONEY controlled it in front. Taken off the gate two back, she can be handy enough to feature here.

SELECTIONS: MACARENA MADI (1), TORQUE TOHE MUSIC (9), HARRY KANE (4), SHEZ ALL STYLE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  MACARENA MADI (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

In a race with a bit of front-line hustle, WHERES OUR MONEY (4) can flex early in search of the front. Pressing on with it from this same gate last start and controlling the pace to claim an 8m margin, it followed an effortless win at Redcliffe. If he can take control, he will take some stopping.

FILLY THIRTEEN (1) has been in nice touch of late and was a winner here three runs back when settled in the trail and making the closing shot a winning one. Just 5m from TALENT TO SPARE at her next outing in a mare’s qualifier, she should secure the perfect trip to issue a challenge.

REDS STAR DEAL (9) looks best placed of the off-pace runners should the front line overdo it in the run. Freshened since a last start midfield finish in the Breeders, he can be ready to make a late play.

BRONSKI DELIGHT (2) had the nice trip in behind the speed in the Redcliffe Oaks but was feeling the pinch 300 from home. With early speed, she can settle handy to feature.

SELECTIONS: WHERES OUR MONEY (4), FILLY THIRTEEN (1), REDS STAR DEAL (9), BRONSKI DELIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FILLY THIRTEEN (1) win/place

RACE EIGHT

All the power looks drawn wide here THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7) faces a tricky map but might just have found her chance to open the Qld account. Trying to see out in front last start, she was collared late. Since trialling in smart fashion off pace, she can look to descend on them here.

SARASUN (6) was sent straight to the front last start from gate 2 and once in control kept the tempo upbeat. Getting tired late but holding a huge margin in the run to hang on with 6m to spare on the line, the wider gate here might just leave her vulnerable down the stretch.

SIR BOSTON (9) was beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating early and then unable to get warm in the closing stages. With the right trail early, he is a podium player here.

FOR NO REASON (1) was a gritty Redcliffe winner three starts back when sitting parked and followed that with an equally hard trip for 2nd. The gate gives her the chance to grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7), SARASUN (6), SIR BOSTON (9), FOR NO REASON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7) to win

RACE NINE

Beaten deep into the red at her Aus debut when tackling a Redcliffe maiden, DELILAHS GIRL (4) was asked to sit parked on that occasion from gate 5. Finishing 5m from the winner COSMIC FLYER, a return to the big deck and the chance to take control can see her home.

SWEETNSPICY (2) rolled forward from gate 7 last start to sit parked but faded after the tough trip to just miss the money. Buried away two starts back from inside the second line as JACKSON TOWN took the prize, this looks the right contest for her to make a play.

HASTY BID (10) started inside the second line last time out and was trying to issue the closing raid when finishing a half-neck from the winner SWEET GEORGIA BROWN. He can be chiming in again.

GOOD BOOTS BINDI (1) is a 2YO tackling the older horses first up from a spell but lands the gate to get a soft trip. Last raced back in April, the gate is a huge help.

SELECTIONS: DELILAHS GIRL (4), SWEETNSPICY (2), HASTY BID (10), GOOD BOOTS BINDI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 4 / 1-2-7-10

RACE TEN

Similar conditions for the upcoming The Great Square are on offer to the 3 & 4YO trotters here and the visitor HOT TO TROT (8) can look to cash in first up. Scoring in smart time at Menangle last start when leading throughout, he has the second line options to capitalise.

TOP OF THE MOMENT (6) overcame both the 20 and 30m handicaps at his first two Qld appearances, his win off the 30m tape full of merit when sweeping by and posting a 6m margin. Forget his last start when making an error, he can throw it down under these conditions.

IM A GYPSY QUEEN (4) backs up from Tuesday where she claimed her third win since joining the Dixon stable. Safely away from the tapes to find the trail, she can get handy to feature.

MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (7) should relish the chance to get back behind the start car, the format that has produced all three of his career victories. Charging home from deep field here on Tuesday, he is in the mix

SELECTIONS: HOT TO TROT (8), TOP OF THE MOMENT (6), IM A GYPSY QUEEN (4), MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HOT TO TROT (8) to win
