Form Analysis: Redcliffe - June 24

RACE ONE

MAJIC MOMENT (1) Was much better last star, was eased back and sent around for improvement and that’s what they goat she hugged the fence and emerged late and ran on into 5^th. Getting back to her best, this is a solid field but with pole she will be giving a good sight in front.

GO LIGHTLY (7) Has had a few weeks break since working very hard leading at the start of June, he got beaten by a horse who has since come out and won again in a harder race, so that form has been confirmed. Likely drawn behind the leader, he will get his chance up the passing lane.

DAZZLE ME (4) Got very good gate speed he can launch for the top and make his presence felt, he’s been running great races as of late, restrained from gate 7 last start, he worked home well, if he led, he would provide a great sight.

OUR ACTION MAN (8) He goes well this fella, couple of sticky draws but this one may work out. He may lob the 1-1, 1-2 and he’s rock hard fit and racing well so I would expect a bold show with an ounce of luck.

RACE TWO

ALTA MAGACIAN (1) A horse who’s been really well, two starts ago at Albion he won sitting parked in a 1.53.7 mile rate, just absolutely bullied his rivals. He was checked horrendously last start at Redcliffe, so they’ll be back with vengeance this week and I expect lead and win tactics. He has gate speed and is a big strong horse, will take a lot of beating.

NEPTUNE (8) Impressed when winning last start, sizzled home in a 26.4 last quarter, he looks ready to run a big race from the back row, will require some luck but definite chance.

ROCKOKOKO (9) Walked in last start, was a comfy win and lead from #5, been dealt a sticky draw but that win suggests he had a lot left in the tank so I think he will be able to work around the field some stage or if he was to get 3 wide cover he would be looming large when they turn for home.

MYDADSAID (7) No doubt he will get backed, going to be behind the speed over the 2280m lures a few keen eyes. He did run a good 2^nd behind Alta Magacian when he won at Albion, he was taking ground off him at the line, and briefly held up, so may have got closer. Massive chance off the back of the leader here.

RACE THREE

MISS MUCHO (1) A mare who’s been going great guns as of late, she should get barrier #1 if there’s no scratchings and from there she will again receive every possible and she actually has a draw upgrade, as she’s been on the back row for her last few starts. She suits following a helmet, so I don’t think she will lead but she will come out for a sniff, each way for sure.

MANHATTAN (5) A NZ mare who brings Group racing form, she is speedy and has gate speed, they need to sizzle her off the mobile arm if they want to win. Drawn widish she can look to cross and dictate this race and make a statement for the carnival, clear top pick for me if driven positively.

YARRAMAN BELLA (9) In awesome form this girl. She is drawn to land the back of Uptown Beachgirl, who would provide a very good helmet to follow and she can show her devastating sprint, massive chance.

UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (8) Led them up in Leap To Fames Patrons Purse. She wilted down the back but did whack away and hold onto 6^th. She is back against her sex here and can do work, shes a huge chance with some luck, just unsure we she ends up early, and will have a big threat on her back.

RACE FOUR

ROCKNROLL HAMMER (1) Very brave run last start, the death set un did him but he really tried hard and fought all the way to the line, getting out sprinted in a fast 26.6 last quarter. Lost by 2.6m he is rock hard fit and racing well, hes likely drawing #1 barring no scratchings and watching him run on the fence taking the short home way will be nice, hes a massive chance and does posses gate speed. mai

SURE THING CAPTAIN (6) Has some X - Factor about him this horse, lovely stride and is tough, the lead will likely not be there but hes a horse who will fight in the death or be able to sustain a wide run coming around the field if they go back, got have him in play.

NATURALLY GIFTED (7) NSW raider who is coming off a back row win at Penrith, he has won at Menangle and he does have ability, he will get a good run behind the potential leader and have a chance if he’s good enough.

DON HUGO (8) Easy as ya like winner last start, was able to lead and roll them comfortably held at the line, had plenty more to give. He has a niggly draw this week but may be able to sneak into the 1-1 and from there, will be a cracking chance.

RACE FIVE

KID MONTANA (2) Massive win off the 40m handicap last start here at Redcliffe, has to go in the selections off that effort alone, well drawn if he steps cleanly and finds the top then he has all the options in the world.  

WARFARE (12) Ran home very well into 4^th last start after being locked up on the fence, that was behind some nice horses, his form has him going very close even from the horror draw where he will have to navigate traffic.

MIRACLE MOOSE (4) Being running home well in his past few starts, from sticky draws hes not had much luck, but if he was able to step cleanly and put himself in the race, then he should run you a race.

PETES SAID SO (11) Dropped out last start, but willing to forgive, hes a horse who ran against quality and this is an easier race form him, lets hope he brings his manners and A game and he can bounce back.

 RACE SIX

REASON TO SHINE (1) Shown enough ability to be a live chance here, should be able to hold the favorite early and make her work to get the lead off her and try to soften her up, make her vulnerable late, and allow her to get up the passing lane. Massive hope.

BETTOR CULLECT (3) likely leading this field up but hopefully has to do some work to wrestle the lead off the one and be susceptible late in the race. Brings great form in here and is the clear top pick.

ELLIS STREET (8) Awesome win last start, showed a really nice turn of foot to get the job done. Follows out the favorite here and may land the 1-1, a big chance here, and can do it tough.

TAKE A CHANCE (5) Won his last two in really good fashion, sticky draw here but not out of it, and will be filling the minors with any luck, may have to go back from the draw.

RACE SEVEN

JEWEL MELODY (6) A filly with 3 Group 1s next to her name, shes been there and done that already. She flashy, shes big and strong and has very nice trial win under her belt to prepare for this fixture. One red flag is the draw, but she is versatile and can overcome it. Massive chance.

PEACEFUL (1) Her most recent Menangle trial win was very tidy, shes a big strong pacer who can run time and will likely be leading this crew, I think shes set for a really awesome carnival and on top for me, especially with this lucrative draw.  

MULLUM RUBY (3) Great win at Albion Park, got the job done for punters in a dominant display, she looks ready to rock’n’roll and is one for ya exotics.

BRONSKI DELIGHT (7) Drawn to receive every possible, she will be behind the odds on pop and should be running into the TOP3, shes been racing well from tricky draws so she will enjoy behind on the fence following a good one.

RACE EIGHT

TIMS A TROOPER (1) Refuses to run a bad race, emerged from last to run 5^th behind Leap To Fame, he’s drawn awesome here and if he steps fast he holds all the aces up his sleeve. Massive chance.

LOYALIST (2) Sustained a massive run here last time, did it very tough and he was very brave. Big draw upgrade here, he can find the top and enjoy the leisure life on the fence, big chance.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (3) Manners are great, he usually steps fast, he gets a draw upgrade and will be springing to the top if possible, with any luck he will run you a race at bolters odds and could be value.

HOT AND TREACHEROUS (9) Loves a stand start and was awesome behind Leap To Fame. Hes the big dog in this field and should look to bully everyone else. Hes going to be making his presence felt with some luck.

RACE NINE

MISS BAY KING COLE (4) Good 2^nd behind a good one last start, been in some great form, she is versatile and has a nice turn of foot, she can get the job done here.

MUSIC MOTH (8) Shes won her last two, a filly with some ability and she follows out a quick beginner so may be able to land a handy position early and driver is luring me in.

GOLDEN FIRE (10) Going really well since arriving in QLD. Awesome win last start, indicating ability. She will need some luck from this draw but shes well upto them and she can have the last say.

GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (2) Will be coming out for a look early, lead should be there, theyre usually aggressive. She hit a personal best last start and she will provide a good each way bet if she finds the top easily.

RACE 10

MUSCLE BART (1) Going great and an awesome 2^nd last start was in front a few strides after the post, capable of quick sectionals and has been gifted the ace draw. Will be awfully hard to beat and one of the best bets of the night and a multi must have.

BIG SKEWY (7) Going to get every chance following the favorite everywhere, hes been running home resolutely as of late and he gets a great chance to run a placing here, could be some value too.

SIR RICHARD LEE (8) In some decent form, this is tougher here but the draw to be just behind the speed and fill the minors and exotics.

BURNS BAY (2) Great win last start this is much harder and drawn directly bneside the fav hurts, but if he was able to slot in, he would be running another good race.
