RACE ONE

MAGICAL FLICK (1)
started from this gate two runs back at her first Qld appearance and was the best of the chasing pack behind SAINT JUJON. Tackling more experienced campaigners last start at Marburg when sitting parked, back to maiden company from this gate looks ideal.

TRUE ORIGINS (7) is moving ever closer to the maiden breaking success after three placings in five attempts this season. Holding 3rd behind the clear out winner SWEET RIPPIN last time out after sitting parked, she can secure the soft trip here and be searching for a way clear to challenge.

FOUR FEATHERS (8) was in the market here on debut from gate 1 and striking trouble soon after the start had his chances washed down the drain. Again, tackling the older horses, he is in the mix.

PRIORITY BETTING (6) steps out for Ryan Veivers for the first time and joins his team without a cheque to his name in 11 starts. He might just show some improvement for this.

SELECTIONS: MAGICAL FLICK (1), TRUE ORIGINS (7), FOUR FEATHERS (8), PRIORITY BETTING (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MAGICAL FLICK (1) to win

RACE TWO

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1) was back to this grade last start where he worked forward in the early stages from gate 4 before receiving running line cover. Finishing 6m from the winner POM PAY, this is his best gate for some time and can look to take full advantage.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (6) will take some benefit from his first run back from a spell when tackling a Trot Rods event. Holding 3rd with a 4m deficit to the winner GLENROCK, he was 3rd here two starts back at his last run before going fort a break. Despite the wide gate, he has podium claims.

JANG PEL (7) was under 3m from the winner at Marburg last time out when never getting open space until it was too late. With the economical trip, he can be thereabouts in this.

CHIEF JUJON (8) made the most of the inside gate here three starts back when burrowing through to take them all the way. Out of the money in both starts since, the gate makes it tricky.

SELECTIONS: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (6), JANG PEL (7), CHIEF JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1) to win

RACE THREE

COUNT MONTECARLO (9)
has placed in both previous attempts here on The Triangle, starting from inside the second line on both occasions. Snookered on the inside last start over the AP mile as MOS LONDON blitzed the opposition, he can get to the outside and look to descend on them to take this.

TULHURST PEBBLES (2) had an early look from this gate last start but was unable to find the poles and then secured the 1x1 trail. Runner-up and finishing 2m from the winner LYDIAS ART, she can settle near the speed and be in position to issue a challenge.

FULLOFIT (4) makes her first Qld appearance after joining the Greg Franklin stable. Fading last start at Cranbourne, she was a Shepparton winner two starts back and stays under watch fresh up.

RIGHTYO (5) made a strong raid over the closing stages here two starts back to be under 2m from the winner. 7m from LYDIAS ART last start, the wide gate makes it a tough ask this time.

SELECTIONS: COUNT MONTECARLO (9), TULHURST PEBBLES (2), FULLOFIT (4), RIGHTYO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: COUNT MONTECARLO (9) to win

RACE FOUR

MY CHINA DOLL (5) started from inside the second line last start where she was soon shuffled back in the run. Closing out hard over the closing stages to get within an eyelash of victory, it followed a sound effort from a wide gate over the AP mile. Despite the wide gate, this is within reach.

WHATA REACTOR (3) was midfield last start after easing early from gate 6 and despite facing a chequered passage was still not too far away. Grabbing 3rd here three runs back behind FAKE CULLECTION, a return to the main draw is a big help and can see her issue a challenge.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (8) was asked to sit parked last start from gate 5 over the AP mile but could not go with them over the closing stages. IN this line up he can be chiming in.

TINSEL TIARA (9) has no favours from the outside second line but has been making steady improvement at each Qld appearance. Placed at her past two attempts, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: MY CHINA DOLL (5), WHATA REACTOR (3), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (8), TINSEL TIARA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MY CHINA DOLL (5) to win

RACE FIVE

SHORT LEG SUE (3)
tackled the Breeders Consolation last start where she struck trouble attempting to make a move three-wide to get into the contest. Buried form inside the second line here two starts back, she can get forward from this alley and finds conditions to capitalise.

DINOSAURUS REX (9) has a smart record here at Redcliffe that shows four wins from nine attempts with a further two placed efforts. Owning the closing power to descend on them last week to take a 4m margin, he can rely on some tempo to make the closing challenge once again.

JET FORCE (7) did some early work last start to get handy to the action before receiving cover and fighting for 3rd behind HIGH ON MONTANA. With an economical trip, he will be probing here.

GRAYSON (1) held on for the bronze at Marburg last start at his first appearance in Qld. With early hustle, he can be looking to protect the inside here to feature.

SELECTIONS: SHORT LEG SUE (3), DINOSAURUS REX (9), JET FORCE (7), GRAYSON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SHORT LEG SUE (3) to win

RACE SIX

RANCHO MAN (1)
has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when collared in the closing stages by WHATA TERROR, finishing 4m in arrears. Beaten as a red figure fav here two starts back behind SIR BOSTON when collared on the line, he will be trying to see this out from the front.

VINCERO (5) was locked away in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line and was trying to launch a closing raid when 3rd behind WHATA TERROR. A passing lane winner three starts back, this will be his first appearance on this deck and despite a wide gate can challenge.

MY GIRL MANDY (4) faded last start over the AP mile after rolling forward to find position. Beaten by gate 6 here two starts back, she can find position to be in the mix.

KHULAN KID (8) makes his first appearance from a spell, his latest effort back in January. This will be his first public appearance at Redcliffe and with two sound AP trials, can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: RANCHO MAN (1), VINCERO (5), MY GIRL MANDY (4), KHULAN KID (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  RANCHO MAN (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

ASHLEE NITRO (9)
loves this deck and should get the perfect set up in a race that looks set to generate some good heat in the early to middle stages. A winner up the passing lane here four runs back, she was charging home last start when under 2m from the winner and can descend on them.

MISS EXCLUSIVE (6) cops the ODM embargo after causing a false start last time out, where on the retake she took control and held them off for an effortless 8m margin. Finding position cheaply will be her key to putting them, away again.

FOUR FOR FOUR (1) is still chasing her first win of the season after two placings from her nine attempts. Grabbed in the last stride here two starts back when beaten a head, she is in the mix.

VANITY BAY (5) secured victory in a 947-sizzle last start, claiming the 2023 fastest time for the Trot Rods. Taking them all the way on that occasion, the wider gate makes it a tougher ask here.

SELECTIONS: ASHLEE NITRO (9), MISS EXCLUSIVE (6), FOUR FOR FOUR (1), VANITY BAY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ASHLEE NITRO (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

FLO RYDA (7)
has placed in four of his past five starts, the latest over the sprint trip at HQ when darting through on the passing lane to get within 2m of the winner BLING THE LUCK. Buried three back on that occasion, a similar fate may eventuate here, but he can show the speed to arrive.

ROYAL PRINCESS (2) was at the rear of the small field in a Trot Rods event last start which followed a large margin in defeat behind NO DOUBT. Better suited here where she can look to show some early hustle, if able to get to the poles first, her chances will rise.

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (5) faded last start at The Creek after setting a strong tempo in front as MO SZYSLAK took the prize. Too far back here two runs back, she can get forward to feature.

CANT BLUFF YOU (6) has no favours from the outside paint but does present with tidy figures on this deck, hitting the board at 50% in his 12 appearances. Just a half-neck away last start, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: FLO RYDA (7), ROYAL PRINCESS (2), ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (5), CANT BLUFF YOU (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

BRIGADIERS SON (3)
has proven to be enigmatic since arriving in Qld in 2022 and as such is still chasing his first win since crossing the ditch. Just a neck away in a Trot Rods event last start, he faded at his first run for the new stable two starts back. Finding the front, can he see it out?

THE MAHARANI (1) was not suited when sent forward and required to do the heavy lifting outside the leader last start and faded as a result. A winner three back off a smother trip, she was then 3rd at her next run from the pocket trail. With the options, momentum into the lane will be key to her hopes.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (7) is the perfect 2 for 2 on this deck since arriving in Qld with both wins at the middle 2040 trip. In danger of being buried in the run, he cannot be discounted.

CALL ME KEITH (9) faced the inside second line here two starts back in a similar 70Heat when grabbing the silver behind LOUS DREAM. Not too far away in the final from gate 10, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: BRIGADIERS SON (3), THE MAHARANI (1), BETTOR TO BE TRICKY (7), CALL ME KEITH (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIGADIERS SON (3) to win

RACE TEN

FORGIVE ME (1) is chasing a hat-trick after successive wins here at Redcliffe. A half-head away behind REDS STAR DEAL three runs back, she then pressed on from gate 5 at the 1780 and fought them off. A winner at the 947 last start, the only question she needs to answer is the middle trip, but the gate is a huge help.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2) is another that might have some questions over the 2040 asked of her, but settling handy to the action will aid her chances. Darting up the passing lane last start to get within a head of the winner, securing the cheap trip will be vital to her challenging chances.

TELL ME THIS (9) overcame the outside second line at Marburg last start when working home strongly wide off the track to take a 4m margin. The gate makes it another tough ask.

PARTY POLOTIX (7) was a winner at the sprint trip here three runs back when burrowing through from gate 1 to take them all the way. Not too far away in both runs since, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: FORGIVE ME (1), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2), TELL ME THIS (9), PARTY POLOTIX (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
