RACE ONE

Resuming from a spell as he chases the maiden breaking victory, MIX IT UP (4) was banished to the trials last start after making an error. Gaining the ticket back in a mobile trial, he stuck to the task two back when runner-up to TOP OF THE MOMENT. If he trots throughout, he can cash in.

DEXTROUS DEXTER (6) has the 20m handicap to overcome but importantly should appreciate this field be solely made up of 3YO. Overcoming the 10m against all ages last week when pressing forward to find the front and see it out, the small field here is a big help.

UWOHALI (1) found the Oaks a hurdle a touch too high last time out as the star filly ROCKINWITHATITUDE saw it out. With the chance of a soft trip behind the action, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: MIX IT UP (4), DEXTROUS DEXTER (6), UWOHALI (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

With the benefit of moving back to the front line, THE REAPER (2) should relish his opportunity back in this grade off the front tape. Midfield last start from the 30m impost, he was chasing as were the entire pack two starts back behind WEWILLSEEHOWWEGO. He can get away early to capitalise.

SET ME FREE (3) started from 20m last start and took the trail when running the winner DEXTROUS DEXTER to a half-head margin. Runner-up here three back when peaking late after setting the tempo, she can be up near the action again here to throw it down.

MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (11) is still chasing his first victory here at The Creek and when he strikes the right conditions, he can deliver it. The 30m looks tough, but he has placed at 4 of his past 5.

NATTY PAGGER (6) chased hard to grab 2nd at Marburg two starts back in a new track record set by the winner MADEAKILLIN. Working hard off 40m last start, this is well within reach back to 10m.

SELECTIONS: THE REAPER (2), SET ME FREE (3), MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (11), NATTY PAGGER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: THE REAPER (2) to win

RACE THREE

After grabbing a win in the second round of the DJA Series, ZEALOUS SPUR (8) made the Final and wsa strong to the line when 2m from the winner JACCKA WATCH. Tracking up strongly last start when 3m from FUNNY FACE when off equal terms, he can capitalise on the 10m advantage this time.

FUNNY FACE (10) started from the 20m tape last time out and settled rearward before making a strong run to descend on them to take a 3m margin. That was off an eye-catching 3rd in the DJA Final when under 2m from the winner. Back another 10 to the 30m this time, she can still throw it down.

IM THE COMMANDO (2) was buried away in the run over the 2647 last time out and could not get warm in the closing stages. At his best when finding the front, he can step and give some cheek.

BOURBONONTHEROCKS (1) was midfield last start after the easy trip in behind the speed. A similar tip here looks available, and she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: ZEALOUS SPUR (8), FUNNY FACE (10), IM THE COMMANDO (2), BOURBONONTHEROCKS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ZEALOUS SPUR (8) to win

RACE FOUR

Placed in all three career starts to date, SOAP OPERA (8) will take benefit from her latest appearance where she was resuming from a spell. Settled in the running line from gate 4, she was making some nice closing metres when runner-up to ROCKON ROCKY. With the soft trip, she can capitalise.

SHESFULLOFSPIRIT (6) was making her Aus debut and third career start here last time out when sent to the post as fav from the second line. Making an error, she trailed the field home. That was off the back of a smart trial and despite the wide gate can look to bounce back hard.

SHEER ARTISTRY (2) was on debut here two runs back where she was asked to sit parked when fighting hard to hold 2nd when 3m away. Midfield last start from outside the second line, she is in the mix.

CRUZ JOSHUA (1) tried to see it out in front here two starts back when finishing 4m adrift of the winner. Working home wide out against older horses last start, the gate helps.

SELECTIONS: SOAP OPERA (8), SHESFULLOFSPIRIT (6), SHEER ARTISTRY (2), CRUZ JOSHUA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SOAP OPERA (8) to win

RACE FIVE

A tough 3-40 rated contest here to dissect where early mapping puts a few of these out of contention. SHEZ GOT BLING (2) eased from gate 5 last time and was making some late metres to grab the bronze. Not ideally suited at 2138 the start prior, she can find position to strike here.

MOTU AMETHYST (1) has failed to hit the board in 12 appearances this season, the latest when finding running line cover over the 2138 but unable to get warm in the closing stages. Buried in the run two back when searching for openings, she has the options here to cash in.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (8) sat in the trail last start and was driven along turning for home but continued to plug away when 7m from the winner. With a similar trip, he can chase a podium.

LANCELOT BROMAC (6) faces the tough gate and will be sliding back early and relying on some tempo. Not suited at the 2138 last start, he was just a head away two back and can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ GOT BLING (2), MOTU AMETHYST (1), WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (8), LANCELOT BROMAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MOTU AMETHYST (1) win/place

RACE SIX

LULU MAE (10)
is winless in Qld after nine attempts here at The Creek and although she faces the tough gate out in 10, might just have found her chance to capitalise. Not too far away from gate 7 last start behind ARKIN WICKED who dictated in front, with an even slice of luck she can arrive.

BLACKJACK BETH (1) released from this gate last start and with the soft trip behind the speed was midfield as ARKIN WICKED cashed in from the front. Taking them all the way here three back from this gate 3, she has all the options here to issue the challenge.

ARCHILLES (9) was asked to graft it out first over two starts back and was game in defeat when under 2m from the winner. Franking that effort with victory last time, the second line is tricky.

SARASUN (4) found the right conditions three runs back when fired out to take them all the way. Luckless lasty start from the second line, she can get forward to feature here.

SELECTIONS: LULU MAE (10), BLACKJACK BETH (1), ARCHILLES (9), SARASUN (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  LULU MAE (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

The outside second line makes this a tough ask, but in super form and with this perhaps a shade easier than recent opposition, WHERES OUR MONEY (10) can bounce back. Chasing four on the bounce last start, he was game in defeat when 2nd from gate 7 and can put them away here.

NOT THE KINGSWOOD (2) was building towards  victory after finishing as the runner-up in successive events and capitalised last start at Redcliffe up the passing lane to grab a 2m margin. This is a tougher ask, but he is progressing nicely this campaign and has the gate to challenge.

HARRY KANE (1) was left exposed early last start but with no interest in moving up to the leader, then sat 1x1 when the cover came before being forced to go at the 600. This gate is a big plus.

MISS BAY KING COLE (9)
was sent forward from gate 6 last start and working hard in the run, could not finish it off when finishing midfield. With the right trip off speed, she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: WHERES OUR MONEY (10), NOT THE KINGSWOOD (2), HARRY KANE (1), MISS BAY KING COLE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WHERES OUR MONEY (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

A tough veteran’s contest over the middle trip where ITS MR CLOONEY (12) can look to continue his good form lines. Sent forward from gate 7 last time to set the tempo, he was still fighting at the wire when 2m from the winner FEAR CRUISIN. A midfield attack to get forward might be the play here.

OBI ONE (2) has placed his past two in this grade, the latest from inside the second line when 5m from ABOUTTIME who carved out a big mile in front. Beaten a pimple two starts back, he can be close enough to the action to issue a challenge.

WARFARE (11) rolled forward to sit parked last start from gate 4 and was game in defeat when 4m from the winner TIZ A SIZZLER. He comes up with a tricky gate but can follow speed to chime in.

ROCK BOTTOM (7) is afforded no favours from the wide gate, however he is going well enough to suggest he can be a factor. Charging last week from deep field for the silver, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: ITS MR CLOONEY (12), OBI ONE (12), WARFARE (11), ROCK BOTTOM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS MR CLOONEY (12) to win

RACE NINE

In super form that has seen him lay out four successive victories, TAIRLAW TOLL (7) is showing the versatility to capitalise here. Doing it on the front-end last start and pulling clear to a career PB win rate, he powered home wide out to score here two back at 2138. He can bag the quintet.

HY VOLTAGE (6) was left alone through the middle stages out in front last start at the 2138 trip, but was able to put them away despite being fired up in front with splits of 28.5 and 27.2 on the way home. Placed both prior attempts, he can get forward to throw it down.

OUR ACTION MAN (8) was snookered on the fence last start when grabbing 3rd behind HY VOLTAGE. The last horse to defeat SWAYZEE, he will be probing for the openings here.

LYRICAL GENIUS (9) has been sectionally super in recent starts and despite trailing the field home last start, there was still some merit in the run. If the tempo is slick, he can descend.

SELECTIONS: TAIRLAW TOLL (7), HY VOLTAGE (6), OUR ACTION MAN (8), LYRICAL GENIUS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

Second up for the Sallis barn last time out at the 2138, JAGARA (10) sat in the running line before letting down strongly over the closing stages to grab the silver behind HY VOLTAGE. The tempo looks right for him to be charging down the outside.

ARMA RENEGADE (8) slid across from gate 6 last start to find the position three poles and was then issuing a closing raid when just a half-neck from the winner SPIRIT OF ARION. Not suited when asked to sit parked the start prior at Redcliffe, she will be stalking speed here ready to strike.

ELOUISA DALE (3) started from the second line last time out over the mile and an early move to get around them and find the front by the bell paid dividends. From this gate, she is right in the fight.

IM FEELING FIREY (5) angled to the fence last start from two the second line and was making some nice closing metres when under 3m from SPIRIT OF ARION. Positioning cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: JAGARA (10), ARMA RENEGADE (8), ELOUISA DALE (3), IM FEELING FIREY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JAGARA (10) to win
