RACE ONE

MILLIE FRANCIS (2)
was first up in 11 months last start when faced with the outside second line. Making a wide and sustained run, she rounded them up and pulled clear to claim a smart 10m victory. The added fitness, experience and an improved gate are all favourable factors.

COSMIC FLYER (8) is a 2YO tackling the older performers here as he did on debut where he was too slippery for them out in front. Holding the lead from gate 1, he ran sharp time for a 2YO and the form has been franked with runner-up DELILAHS GIRL a subsequent winner. He can throw it down.

GRAYSON (4) was best of the chasers to grab the silver last start behind the short-priced fav RIGHTYO. The gate makes it a little tricky, but he can feature.

HIGHVIEW HAMMER (1) makes his first Qld appearance for NSW visitor James Sutton and will be first up in 2023. With a pair of handy trials at Dubbo in readiness, he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: MILLIE FRANCIS (2), COSMIC FLYER (8), GRAYSON (4), HIGHVIEW HAMMER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MILLIE FRANCIS (2) to win

RACE TWO

MISS PAU (5) was a winner here two starts back when buried in the run and making strong meters in the closing stages to arrive late with a narrow margin. Tackling a much tougher contest last start, she can defy the wide gate in an open event where Ricky Gordon holds a strong hand with four runners.

MY ULTIMATE ROMEO (3) has faced the starter four times since returning to Qld off a spell and has produced a mixed bag. In a race that looks wide open, he can look to press forward and limiting any early burn can issue a challenge.

RISKY BUZINESS (8) scored a Marburg victory from inside the second line two starts back, finding space and pulling clear to a 5m margin. Buried last start, with the right early trail, he can feature.

SWINGING GEORGE (7) faded last start after working hard in the run made no easier by a flat tyre. Grabbing the bronze here three back from the fence, he will be probing the openings.

SELECTIONS: MISS PAU (5), MY ULTIMATE ROMEO (3), RISKY BUZINESS (8), SWINGING GEORGE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS PAU (5) to win

RACE THREE

AROONA (1)
had the early hustle before taking cover from this same gate last start when holding 3rd behind AWAYOVERNIGHT. Eased to the poles from gate 2 here two starts back, he lands all the options here and looks to have found a suitable contest to cash in.

HEAVENS BABY (9) burrowed through from gate 1 to secure the pocket trail here two runs back and then had the closing speed to arrive for a narrow victory. Strong to the line wide out last time when runner-up to LITTLEDEE, with the right tempo she can be issuing the challenge.

JANG PEL (5) has no favours from a tricky gate but is never too far from the action. Runner-up to ODINS BLACK CROWS here two runs back, limiting the work can see him chime in.

FOR NO REASON (6) was a tough winner here four starts back when sitting parked and grinding out a tough victory. Buried lasty start over the AP mile, she has podium claims despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: AROONA (1), HEAVENS BABY (9), JANG PEL (5), FOR NO REASON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: AROONA (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Taking his first trip around The Triangle, SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (1) arrives back in Qld for NSW trainer Jarrod Alchin. Beaten by the outside second line at Penrith last start, he chased home behind SMALTESE the start prior. He lands all the favours to dictate.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (7) took them all the way from gate 1 here two starts back, holding on for a narrow victory. Unable to go with them in the closing stages last start, she maps for the soft trip behind the speed and can try to launch some version of a challenge.

MISS DAYTONA (2) should appreciate a return to Redcliffe in this grade after tackling some stronger AP events in recent outings. Chasing behind the airborne ROCK SUPREME last start, she can feature.

PARTY POLOTIX (3) was chasing home wide off the track last start from outside the second line as JAY TEE TYRON claimed the prize. A winner from this gate two starts back, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (1), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (7), MISS DAYTONA (2), PARTY POLOTIX (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1 / 2-3-7

RACE FIVE

Needing some factors in his favour from this gate, TOMMY BLIGH (7) has been in consistent form in recent starts, hitting the board at his past four in succession. Charging home last start after retreating early from gate 6, he ran YOGI to a half-head and can make the closing shot a winner.

THE HARRIS HAWK (1) started fav from outside the second line here two starts back and was making a closing raid when coming up a half-head short of victory. 8m astern of the winner last start from this gate, he lands all the options to challenge.

TULHURST CUDDLES (8) was sent around them in the middle stages from the second line last time out to sit parked and despite the tough run was able to claim an 8m margin. The middle trip is the concern.

JAKKI MUN (5) was first up for the new stable last start when eased early and from deep field never got warm as MACARENI MADI claimed the prize. Back to Redcliffe should be in his favour.

SELECTIONS: TOMMY BLIGH (7), THE HARRIS HAWK (1), TULHURST CUDDLES (8), JAKKI MUN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TOMMY BLIGH (7) to win

RACE SIX

Her numbers are not great here on The Triangle, but THE MAHARANI (1) looks to have found the right set up to cash in for her second win on this deck. 6m adrift of the winner last start after doing some early work, she can burrow through here and look to capitalise from the gate.

FAIREACHDAINN (7) maps to get the perfect trip in behind the speed and will be waiting for the gaps to make the closing challenge. 3rd behind ROCK SUPREME last start, she gets back to Redcliffe for the first time since October to the deck where 12 of her 13 career victories have been recorded.

FAVREAU (4) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sent forward form gate 5 and he was up for the fight when 2m from the winner. He can get forward again here to feature.

MALINJANG (6) has won two of his past three starts, the latest when taking them all the way from gate 1. The wider alley is not ideal here but he can be joining in for some minor money.

SELECTIONS: THE MAHARANI (1), FAIREACHDAINN (7), FAVREAU (4), MALINJANG (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  THE MAHARANI / FAIREACHDAINN (1/7) quinellas/exactas

RACE SEVEN

Not much has been in the favour of MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (8) in recent starts, the latest when retreating from gate 5 to secure position and being buried in the run. Faced with a similar fate two starts back over the AP mile behind MAKARA, he can follow through early and is up to this.

VANITY BAY (2) claimed a Trot Rods victory five runs back but has been unable to hit the board since. Striking a bad gate and a handy one in the shape of THE BEAUDEN BLUES last time out, he finds the gate to chase the lead and from there can look for a much sharper performance.

LULU LUCIFER (5) is afforded no favours from the gate but has been thereabouts in recent outings, with three minors from her past five starts. Runner-up last start from the trail, she has claims.

PEPPA BLISS (3) can slide across to find a handy spot on a track where she her exposure is limited to one win in four attempts. Working hard in the run last start, she can feature here.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (8), VANITY BAY (2), LULU LUCIFER (5), PEPPA BLISS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

NEVADA YANKEE (5)
was luckless last time out where he was buried in the run, charging hard when the gap arrived to grab the silver and be 2m from the winner. Too strong for them here two starts back when sitting parked and claiming the prize, he can defy the wide gate again here.

JAY TEE TYRON (2) rolled forward from gate 4 last start to sit parked where he was able to control the race and grind out the victory. An all the way winner here four runs back from this same gate, he can settle right on the speed from this gate to throw down the challenge.

JILLIBY CHAMBERS (1) booted through from this gate at the 2040 trip last start and had all other runners covered except for ETERNAL GOLD which charged to score. Back to the mile is a plus.

ASTERISM (6) has no favours from this gate but does drop in grade to tackle this contest. With his figure form not reading the greatest, he can chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: NEVADA YANKEE (5), JAY TEE TYRON (), JILLIBY CHAMBERS (1), ASTERISM (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

ALEXIA ROSE (3)
should appreciate the conditions on offer here after running some nice races in town over the past two months. Trying to see it out in front last start, she finished 4m from LITTLE MISS LILY and the start prior was not too far from RACY ROXY. This looks well within reach.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (1) found his race last start and was able to burrow through from this gate to take them all the way. Runner-up two starts back when just a half-head short of victory, he can secure the soft trip behind the speed and be ready to take his shot in the stretch.

PLAYA BLANCA (8) tackled a mare’s race last start at HQ and made some late metres for the bronze behind MISS MUCHO. Scoring in a mare’s qualifier two starts back, she can trail through to feature.

ARMA RENEGADE (9) is the perfect 1 from 1 on this deck, claiming victory here four starts back at her first Qld appearance of the campaign. An AP winner two back, tempo will be her friend.

SELECTIONS: ALEXIA ROSE (3), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (1), PLAYA BLANCA (8), ARMA RENEGADE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-8-9

RACE TEN

BLUE BLOODZ (1) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon snookered in the run before finding some space to grab the bronze behind WHERES THE MONEY. Snaring his best gate in some time, he lands the options to capitalise.

MULLUM BOY (8) should find this race a little easier than recent outings and comes into this off a freshen following his last attempt where he was down the line behind FLO RYDA. Grabbing the bronze over the AP mile the start prior, this should set up for him to make a play.

BACK TO BETOOTA (6) was a winner here two starts back when overcoming this same gate after retreating early before powering up over the latter stages to arrive. He can be chiming in again.

CANDYKANE (7) will take further benefit from her latest start when just 3m from the winner after starting from this same gate. Once again, she will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: BLUE BLOODZ (1), MULLUM BOY (8), BACK TO BETOOTA (6), CANDYKANE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BLUE BLOODZ (1) to win
