RACE ONE

Resuming from a spell last time out and stepping up to the 2138 for the first time, NORTHERN HEIGHTS (4) forced the issue from the 20m here last week to take control. Fading in the closing stages as his condition peaked, a return to the 1628 and tightened from the run can see him arrive.

GAIT WITH GRACE (5) kept a clean sheet with another victory here last week to go 2 for 2. Settled back on the poles from the 10m, she kept coming in the stretch to arrive for the prize. With excellent manners and a smooth gait, she moves back a further 10 which makes it a little tougher.

ICANTDOIT (1) has placed in both career starts and will take further benefit from her 3rd here last week where she led them up, only to be collared in the latter stages. A return to the mile is an asset.

SELECTIONS: NORTHERN HEIGHTS (4), GAIT WITH GRACE (5), ICANTDOIT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NORTHERN HEIGHTS (4) to win

RACE THREE

The first of two heats for the 2YO fillies where the first three across the line will progress to the G1 Triad final. If SYNCHRONIZER (3) does take her place in this field, she looks mighty tough to beat. A scratching on Saturday night just poses a query if she is able to line up here. 3rd to BALBOA ROCK last time out in the APG final when chasing a hat-trick of victories. She is the one to beat.

MAJORITA JUJON (6) started from gate one last start where she was buried early and did not spot any gaps when needed, finishing 1 m from MISSED CONSEQUENCES. Buried in the APG final the start prior the wide gate makes her task tricky, but she looks to have the ability to issue the challenge.

OUR ULTIMATE FERGY (1) is first up in Qld for the Grant Dixon stable arriving after just a single start at Newcastle back in May finishing third in that event. She has the gate to be prominent.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8) has the second line options as the lone runner out the back. Runner-up at both starts leading into this event, she has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: SYNCHRONIZER (3), MAJORITA JUJON (6), OUR ULTIMATE FERGY (1), SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SYNCHRONIZER (3) to win

RACE FOUR

The first of three C&G heats for the 2Yos where the first two across the line in each heat will progress to the G1 Triad Final. COSMIC FLYER (3) scored a smart win here two starts back when still sitting last on the home turn and despite being green as grass, rattled late to score. He has the speed and looks to have the ability to cash-in.

CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (6) faced a second line, draw last start and caught the eye when closing out strongly to be within 2 m of the winner MISSED CONSEQUENCES. Midfield behind COSMIC FLYER two starts back, the gate makes his task awkward, but he is up to the challenge.

GEM PUNTER PETE (2) tackled older horses last start when sent forward early and asked to do it the tough way. In for the fight in holding the silver behind CAPTIVANTE, he has the gate to be                                                      a player.

BIG BOZZ (1)
has had two runs back from a spell the latest when finishing third here on Saturday night all be at some 31 m from the winner SOAP OPERA. The gate helps his chances.

SELECTIONS: COSMIC FLYER (3), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (6), GEM PUNTER PETE (2), BIG BOZZ (1)
SUGGESTED BET: COSMIC FLYER (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Still a QLD maiden, despite finishing runner up on this track on three occasions, LULU MAE (2) might finally have found the conditions for a breakthrough. Sent forward to sit parked Last time from gate 6, she faded over the closing stages. Back to the sprint and with her best gate in recent starts, she can capitalise.

KEAYANG TARA (1)
should secure an economical trip in behind the speed and be awaiting the passing lane to fire some closing bullets. Finishing 2m from the winner ENGLISH DANCE last time out at Redcliffe, she is still chasing a win in 2023 but has the gate to make a challenge once again.

KALYPSO SAM (9) was first up in Qld two starts back when grinding out a tough victory over the Redcliffe 1780. A beaten favourite from gate one last week at the 2138 he can feature here.

QUIK CHANGE (7)
is already qualified for the 2YO Triad final, so is in eligible to compete against his own age today. Gate seven makes the task tricky against older opposition, but he has the talent.

SELECTIONS: LULU MAE (2), KEAYANG TARA (1), KALYPSO SAM (9), QUIK CHANGE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LULU MAE (2) to win

RACE SIX

The second of the C&G heats again where just two progress. ROCKON ROCKY (4) broke his maiden two starts back when making the most of gate one to take control and see it out with a nice 27.6 closing quarter. Buried in the run last start from inside the second line, limiting the early burn will be key to his chances of qualification.

TAKE A CHANCE (1) was luckless last start from gate six, when easing to the rear and then never spotting gaps when needed as DELE ROW scored in sharp time. Beaten a half-neck in the Paleface Adios the start prior, with the options from this gate, he will be throwing down the challenge.

ATTACHMENT (3) hit the line strongly last start after facing the outside second line gate, finishing just 5m from the winner MISSED CONSEQUENCES. The outside gate ended his chances in the APG final and with this wide-open, he has the gate to be right in it.

CRUZ JOSHUA (5) is still a maiden but has managed to place in seven of his nine appearances. Runner up to SHES FULLOFSPIRIT last time out, the gate makes his task very tricky.

SELECTIONS: ROCKON ROCKY (4), TAKE A CHANCE (1) , ATTACHMENT (3), CRUZ JOSHUA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-5

RACE SEVEN

The second fillies heat as they chase qualification for the G1 Triad final. TOBEFAIRTOYOU (2) has faced the starter on three occasions the latest at Redcliffe in a mixed maiden when buried in the run in a race, claimed by LORD MEMNOCK. First up from a spell in that contest, the inside options appeal.

REASON TO SHINE (6) started from inside the second line last time out when squeezing into the 1x1 trail but finishing 9m from the dictating winner WHATA LEGACY. Beaten a similar margin the start prior in the Paleface Adios, that followed four successive placings, and she can challenge again here.

SKYGIRL (8) did it the tough way last start and was unable to finish it off finishing nearer the rear. Placed her previous three in succession, she has the second line options to find position.

MISSED CONSEQUENCES (5) fired off the arm from gate three last time to take control. From the front she held on for a narrow victory in solid time. The gate makes it awkward for a repeat.

SELECTIONS: TOBEFAIRTOYOU (2), REASON TO SHINE (6), SKYGIRL (8), MISSED CONSEQUENCES (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

The third of the C&G heats, where BRONSKI ZULU (4) can look to capitalise. Hitting the line in nice order for the bronze last time behind DELE ROW, he claimed a heat of the APG three runs back from the pocket trail. A consistent performer all season, he can gain the ticket to another big one.

WHATA LEGACY (6) was building towards victory, finishing runner up to FORCE FULL here three starts back. Franking that effort when taking them all the way from gate five at his next appearance, he then went within a blister of victory last start. He has the arm hustle to get in the fight.

DIGBY DEMON (2) started from outside the second line at Redcliffe last start to claim a maiden breaking win against older horses. Facing another step up here, he has the gate to be thereabouts

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (3) was asked to sit parked last time out in the APG final when fighting late after the tough trip. Holding third in the heat of that series, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI ZULU (4), WHATA LEGACY (6), DIGBY DEMON (2), MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BRONSKI ZULU (4) to win

RACE NINE

Arriving for a tilt at the upcoming QBRED Triad series, HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN (9) arrives after three successive NSW victories following a spell. Taking them all the way from gate one last start at Bathurst which followed successive Newcastle wins, he is a talented type that can descend.

LUVBITE (1) faced the outside second line here last week and was wide off the track when making good ground to the line behind SKY BLU. Placed in all four previous attempts here at The Creek prior to that, he lands his best gate since arriving and has options to throw it down.

MIDNIGHT CALM (4) tackled a 70Final last start where he was buried from inside the second line and finished midfield when just 4m from the winner DARK TERROR. He can press forward to feature.

ROCK SUPREME (5) is in career best form and lines up after claiming his third win from his past four starts. With some good pace to his inside, the gate may just be a little tricky.

SELECTIONS: HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN (9), LUVBITE (1), MIDNIGHT CALM (4), ROCK SUPREME (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN (9) to win

RACE TEN

Darting across from gate five last week, TAIRLAW TOLL (9) was looking to take them all the way when setting a solid tempo, finishing just 1m astern of the talented CAPTAIN SHUFFLES. Forget his run two starts back, prior to that he put four on end, and can defy the second line.

DESPONDENT (2) has good arm hustle and from here can look to get across and dictate the pace. Grinding it out first over last week at the mile, he proved too tough in a strong 54.8 lost 800, putting to the leader to strong arm the victory. From the front, he will take some stitching.

APHORISM (6) returns to the Chris Frisby stable and will be first up from a freshen. Last seen from the pocket trail when down the line, he can get forward to feature.

MAJORDOIT (1) has had two runs back from a spell, the latest when settling in the running line, and although the figures may say last, he was only 8m from the winner. The improved gate is a big help.

SELECTIONS: TAIRLAW TOLL (9), DESPONDENT (2), APHORISM (6), MAJORDOIT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TAIRLAW TOLL (9) to win

RACE ELEVEN

Making a perfect start to his Qld career with victory last start, HAPPY GO LINCY (1) faces a rise in grade for this contest but comes up with the perfect gate. Overcoming a second line draw last start when dating through in a slick close out he comes up with the options to go two for two.

OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (5) was game in defeat at her first Qld start when finishing a neck from the winner. Franking that effort with a strong closing half around Redcliffe, she descended on them to claim a smart victory. Gate five is awkward, but with the right trip she can challenge.

ARCHILLES (9) was chasing a hat trick last start, when using the passing lane to finish within 2 m of the winner SKY BLE. With the right trip, he can feature again.

ISNTTHATRIGHT (8) resumes from a spell after finishing down the line last time out back in May. With a sound trial in preparation for his return, the economical trip should suit.

SELECTIONS: HAPPY GO LINCY (1), OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (5), ARCHILLES (9), ISNTTHATRIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET:
