RACE ONE

Just a 2YO tackling the older opposition here, MERRY JEWEL (3) was strong to the line last start in the Triad Consolation behind DONTTELLMEAGAIN. Not in the mix in the heats the start prior after retreating from gate 5, if she can limit the early burn, this type of race is well within reach.

SHES CLASSY (1) tackled a similar graded contest last start when finding the pocket trail and holding on for the bronze behind GEM PUNTER PETE. Fading after a tough run in a harder contest two starts back, she lands all the options here to issue the challenge.

MISTIQUE (7) eased from the wide gate last start when trying to make late ground and finishing midfield. He can force the issue here to chase a minor.

LONG TIME COMING (2) showed early hustle two runs back at Redcliffe to set the early speed before taking cover and holding on for the silver. Beaten by gate 6 last start, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: MERRY JEWEL (3), SHES CLASSY (1), MISTIQUE (7), LONG TIME COMING (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Runner-up at her first appearance in Qld SHEZA CRACKER (2) was exposed early before receiving the 1x1 trail. With six weeks between starts, she was sent to the post as fav and fought hard when 5m from HESLUVABLE. With benefit from the run, she finds suitable conditions here to cash in.

BLACKJACK BETH (4) was beaten by gate 7 over the 2138 last start in the 3YO Fillies Triad Consolation after snagging back early and then never getting warm thereafter. Midfield behind MIKI MAGIC the start prior, she can press forward and a return to the mile in this grade is a big plus.

MISTER WOODPORT (5) pressed forward from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last time out and after finding the 1x1 trail was then strong to the line to be just a head away. He can feature again.

BARKWAY MARGARET (6) was a winner here three runs back at her first Qld appearance after a soft trip in behind the speed. Strong late when 3rd at her next start, the wide gate stings in this.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA CRACKER (2), BLACKJACK BETH (4), MISTER WOODPORT (5), BARKWAY MARGARET (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZA CRACKER (2) to win

RACE FOUR

Unplaced in both previous attempts here at The Creek in stronger company, OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (3) can look to capitalise on her opportunities in this line up. Collared in the closing stages last start when 1m from OOGA CHAKA at Redcliffe, she has the gate to be handy and take her shot.

DIEGO DELGADO (6) completed a hat-trick of victories last start after being put into the battle in the middle stages over the 2040 trip and pulling clear to a 7m margin. All three wins have been on The Triangle and despite a tricky gate for this contest, can still issue the challenge.

VANITY BAY (5) is fresh up here after a last start Redcliffe victory where he fired out to lead from gate 2 and claiming a 7m margin. With early hustle he can get forward to feature.

TRACER BULLET (1) tried to lead them all the way last start over the Redcliffe 2040 and led deep into the stretch to be collared late when 1m away. He will enjoy an economical trip here.

SELECTIONS: OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (3), DIEGO DELGADO (6), VANITY BAY (5), TRACER BULLET (1)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (3) to win

RACE FIVE

This looks a tough race to pull apart and tempo will be key for a few of these. Asked to sit parked last start, BRAEVIEW FELLA (9) found the tempo too slippery as KALYPSO SAM took the prize. Firing out from gate 6 to lead two runs back, a return to this grade looks ideal and he can take his shot.

COCONUT CUTIE (10) will step out at The Creek for he first time in her career. A Redcliffe winner two starts back when firing out from gate 3 and taking them all the way, she was taken back from a wide gate last start before trying to make ground wide out against the tempo. This is within reach.

DIPPED IN SILVER (8) has built into his campaign and last start was having his fourth run back. Finishing strongly to claim a narrow victory, he steps up again here, but the gate helps the cause.

MY CHINA DOLL (5) pressed forward from a wide gate at Redcliffe last start and after being exposed early, found cover and was best of the chasers behind KHULAN KID. She can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: BRAEVIEW FELLA (9), COCONUT CUTIE (10), DIPPED IN SILVER (8), MY CHINA DOLL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BRAEVIEW FELLA (9) to win

RACE SIX

Knocking on the door of victory after finishing as the runner-up at his past four in succession, HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6) will need to overcome the wide gate but is up to the task. Asked to sit parked last start, he was game in grinding it out and with versatility, he can look to capitalise.

SHES IN LINE (9) was looking to remain undefeated in Qld when faced with a second line gate last start over the Redcliffe 1780. Wide off the track, she could not pick them up and finished 8m astern of the winner. With her first look at HQ, she can follow through early to issue the challenge.

FULLOFIT (8) will need a slice of luck at some stage as she does look in danger of being buried in the run. Chasing a hat-trick of victories two runs back, she was a beaten odds-on pop last start.

SUNRISE RUBY (1) will take benefit from her latest outing where she was resuming from a spell. Starting from the second line and finishing near the rear behind MISTER HART, the soft trip suits.

SELECTIONS: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6), SHES IN LINE (9), FULLOFIT (8), SUNRISE RUBY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

Luckless from outside the frontline at Redcliffe at his first Qld appearance, OOGA CHAKA (7) chased gamely second up behind THE VICAR OF DIBLEY for the silver. Game in defeat when parked, his efforts were rewarded with a smart win last time out. Despite the gate, the tempo looks right.

HES SWEET (3) made the most of gate 1 over the Redcliffe sprint trip two starts back, burrowing through to protect the inside and take them all the way. Trying to see it out last start when 2m from the swooping winner SHADOW MINISTER, he can be handy enough to throw it down.

MISS DAYTONA (4) has been competing in mare’s qualifiers in recent outings, the latest when sitting parked and fighting hard for the bronze behind MACARENA MADI. She can force the issue again.

JAY TEE TYRON (2) has been runner-up at his past two outings, the latest when collared in the last strides over the Redcliffe 2040 trip. He can work forward again here to chase a podium return.

SELECTIONS: OOGA CHAKA (7), HES SWEET (3), MISS DAYTONA (4), JAY TEE TYRON (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OOGA CHAKA (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

First up for the new stable two starts back, KHULAN KID (5) settled rearward from a second line gate. Working home strongly wide off the track, it was a smart 2nd to FUNNILY ENOUGH. Franking the run with a second up victory when leading all the way, he can build off that and go again here.

FUNNILY ENOUGH (1) was a Redcliffe winner two starts back when working forward from gate 4 to the front and staying there. 4m from MAGICOL IDEAL at his next start from the pocket trial, the 2138 will find many of these out and with the gate advantage, he gets his chance to challenge.

RIVERINA FLASH (3) was buried away from inside the second line last start when down the line behind ROLLED IN GOLD. Settling handy from this alley, he can be joining in here.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (6) started from inside the second line in a Triad heat and could have finished closer with any luck. Progressing to the final, they were too slippery but back to this grade, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: KHULAN KID (5), FUNNILY ENOUGH (1), RIVERINA FLASH (3), CAPTAIN FOXTROT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: KHULAN KID (5) to win
