RACE ONE

REASON TO BE (7) angled to the poles here last week from two the second line and was making nice metres in the closing stages to finish with the silver behind BLACKJACK BART. With every chance he is parked on the leaders back here, he can stalk the speed and claim the prize up the lane.

AJAY BREEZY ROSE (1) has a superb record here on The Triangle where her record is a stylish 8: 4-0-3. Burrowing through to lead from gate 1 at the 1780 last week, she led deep into the stretch, only to be collared in the closing stages. From the gate she will be gripping on again.

FRONTLINER (3) has some less than inspiring numbers next to his name, but not a lot has been in his favour in recent starts. Form this gate, he can get closer to the action to feature.

ROCK NIEN (2) should be able to land in a good position from this gate and be close enough to the action when ready to issue a closing play. Holding 3rd last week, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: REASON TO BE (7), AJAY BREEZY ROSE (1), FRONTLINER (3), ROCK NIEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: REASON TO BE (7) to win

RACE THREE

MISTER DIAMOND (1)
sped across from gate 3 last time out and once in control was able to see it out over this trip. He lands the gate to be in front soon after the start again here and with this no tougher than his last start opposition, he can rinse and repeat.

FORGIVE ME (4) set the speed from gate 1 here last start and led them turning for home, only to have PRESS STATEMENT hit the gap with power and grab her in the stretch. Settled in the 1x1 from this same gate when 4th to MISTER DIAMOND two starts back, she can look to issue a challenge.

MONTEREY JACK (5) can roll forward if required and up close to the action would have podium claims. Grabbing the bronze two runs back behind NOT THE KINGSWOOD, he is in the mix.

MISSTREPO (9) was game in defeat here two starts back when parked and finishing 2m from the winner MOUTN HERCULES. Buried last start, she can be chiming in over the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DIAMOND (1), FORGIVE ME (4), MONTEREY JACK (5), MISSTREPO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DIAMOND (1) to win

RACE FOUR

FLO RYDA (2) was given a torrid trip here last week where he faded under the toll of the run. His form prior to that had been consistent, hitting the line smartly two starts back when just a half-head from the winner GOLDIES A DELIGHT. From this gate he can secure the position to capitalise.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (5) charged across from this gate last week to take control and from the front was able to keep them chasing in claiming a big 1m margin. Buried form the second line the start prior, she can look to charge the arm again and from the front can throw it down.

MIKI MAGIC (9) rolled forward and was exposed early here last start before receiving cover at the 2040 trip when runner-up to THE MAHARANI. With the right tempo, she can be chiming in.

MOUNT HERCULES (7) is chasing a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the track and trip. Needing a slice of fortune from this gate, if the gap arrives, he can make a play.

SELECTIONS: FLO RYDA (2), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (5), MIKI MAGIC (9), MOUNT HERCULES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FLO RYDA (2) to win

RACE FIVE

OUR UNCLE NEV (8)
was buried in the run last start from this gate at the 1780 trip and never a factor over the latter stages. Runner-up two starts back when darting to the inside, his run here three back over this trip had merit and with the right trip, might just be able to snare an open contest.

PARTY POLOTIX (9) loomed up here last week after presenting out of the 1x1 trail but finished a half-neck from the passing lane winner LOOKAT MEE. With good figures over the middle trip, she can press through early and look to mount a closing challenge.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (1) tackled this trip last week where she was sent to the post as fav. After leading them up, she could not hold onto a placing. She has the gate, but can she see the trip?

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (5) was a winner from back in the pack here three starts back when owning superior closing speed. The gate dents his chances, but he can be finishing strongly.

SUGGESTED BET: OUR UNCLE NEV (8) to win

RACE SIX

LUCKY JIM (2)

MATAI REACTOR (3) was shuffled back from gate 3 here tow runs back but still possessed the closing power to descend on them and claim the prize. Unable to get warm last time when midfield behind CAPTAIN FOXTROT, he can settle handy enough to issue a challenge.

MISTER HART (7) will require a slice of luck at some point from this alley as he is in danger of being buried in the run. Beaten a half-head here two runs back, he will be probing for the openings.

ENGLISH DANCE (5) was second up from a spell last start and despite a slogging closing panel, he was out of the money, albeit only a neck from the winner. Back to the sprint is a big plus.

SUGGESTED BET:  LUCKY JIM (2) to win

ROLLONX (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last start when holding on for the bronze, albeit some 18m from the winner. Buried in the run from inside the second line here two starts back and making some nice closing metres, he snares the gate to beat the drums from the front.

HESLUVABLE (8) faced the outside front line gate last time out and was wide for a long way when finishing in the second half of the pack. He can be closer this time around.

HEAVENLY SEA (3) found the 1x1 trail last time out and made a closing raid to grab the silver when 2m from the winner MY CHINA DOLL. Settling handy, she is right in the fight once again.

CANNAN (1) was back in winning form last start when finding the front from gate 2 and once in control was able to keep them chasing and pull away to a 10m margin. Striking trouble two starts back, he has the options here to issue a challenge.

JUSTROLLINGAROUND (9) is a 6YO that arrives in Qld with Gary Gerrard who has a great strike rate with mares. A strong winner at Wagga over the 2260 two starts back, the Riverina form can stack up.

CHASIN DREAMZ (8) defied gate 6 here last start when pressing on with it to take control and once in front held off the challengers. Following through early can see her right in this.

SELECTIONS: BLACKJACK BETH (2), CANNAN (1), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (9), CHASIN DREAMZ (8)

SHOOBEE RIGHT (9) gained the return to the main draw but again comes up with the outside, this time of the second line. Trying to launch late here las week when runner-up to DIGBY DEMON, he has placed at his past five in succession and will be making a closing challenge again here.
