RACE ONE

PRIORITY BETTING (3) faced the outside second line at Marburg last start where he settled in a rearward position. Searching for gaps, it was a smart effort to get within 4m of the winner. Yet to hit the board in 21 attempts, he can make his first podium appearance a victory here.

STARS OF AMERICA (7) was banished to the trials after striking trouble last start that saw him finish right out of contention. A beaten fav here three starts back at his first outing for the new stable, he will secure the economical trip and be searching for openings to challenge.

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (2) showed some early hustle last start from gate 4 to find the 1x1 trail. Finishing 9m form the winner FREMONT STREET, the improved gate can see him feature.

EL LUCA (9) has now had two runs back from a spell, the latest where he eased from gate 2 down to the inside. Making some closing metres, he can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: PRIORITY BETTING (3), STARS OF AMERICA (7(, DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (2), EL LUCA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PRIORITY BETTING (3) to win

RACE THREE

FUNNILY ENOUGH (2)
has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest at his first Qld appearance when a beaten fav over the Marburg 1850m trip. Starting from the inside gate in that contest when crossed early, he will strip fitter and settle close enough to take his shot.

AWAYOVERNIGHT (4) faced the second line last start where he was working home wide off the track when grabbing the bronze behind OFFICE BAD BOY. Beaten by a wide gate the start prior, he finds a mores suitable contest here to roll forward and throw down the challenge.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (3) started from inside the second line last time out where she was unable to work into the contest. Only 1m away despite striking trouble two back, she can chime in.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (8) has placed at her past two starts, the latest at Marburg in a luckless effort when not seeing clear space over the closing stages. With the right trail she can feature.

SELECTIONS: FUNNILY ENOUGH (2), AWAYOVERNIHT (4), GETALOADATHISGIRL (3), IM A CLASSY GIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FUNNILY ENOUGH (2) to win

RACE FOUR

THE HARRIS HAWK (4) has found a way to be beaten when starting well in the market at each of his past three starts. Forced to sit parked from gate 7 last start, he fought hard in holding on for the bronze which followed successive second placings. He finds the conditions to make another play.

DOLLAR BUCKS (2) has had three runs back from a spell and not much has really been in his favour in all three. His effort last start from outside the front line over the AP mile was full of merit and with his best gate since returning, secures his chance to throw down the challenge.

CHRONICLES (5) was a passing lane 2nd here two starts back behind KALYPSO SAM and franked that with a Marburg victory from the front The wide gate makes the repeat a little tricky.

COCONUT CUTIE (1) should be securing the economical trip behind the speed and if a gap can open be making a late play for some minor money.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (4), DOLLAR BUCKS (2), CHRONICLES (5), COCONUT CUTIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

TOUCH OF TERROR (5)
is yet to claim a victory since arriving in Qld and is on a win drought that extends to February 2022. His effort last start had good merit when eased from gate 7. Facing that same outside alley over the AP mile the start prior, he can do the work to capitalise here.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (8) has been runner-up in both attempts at the middle trip and comes into this off a last start victory where he found the pocket trail and had the closing speed to claim the prize. Taking further benefit from the run where he was third up from a spell, he can issue a challenge.

RIVERINA FLASH (6) has the ODM embargo and was taken back early from this gate last start and could have been closer with a cleaner passage. Placed here two starts back, he can chime in again.

SCHOOBY (1) has the options from this alley and with poor numbers at the middle trip will likely be looking for the trail. Fading after a tough trip last start, he is a rough podium hope.

SELECTIONS: TOUCH OF TERROR (5), CAPTAIN FOXTROT (8), RIVERINA FLASH (6), SCHOOBY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TOUCH OF TERROR (5) to win

RACE SIX

MORESCO (1)
has placed at her past two starts over the AP mile, the latest when leading them deep into the stretch in smart time when collared by ROSES ARE SWEET. A close 3rd behind the smart ELOUISA DALE the start prior, she loves the middle trip and has the gate to dictate.

WESTERN ARTERRA (7) comes up with the second line options here but following the likely leader should be in a perfect position. Luckless last start when no space opened and finishing just 5m from the winner APOLLO DREAMZ. Placed in all three runs on this deck, he is right in it again.

B MAC C (4) faced the inside second line last start and made some nice metres in the closing stages from three back along the inside when 4m from ZENXENA. The small field aids his chances.

O B LEGAL (3) found space and chased hard for the silver last start when just a half-neck from the winner ZENXENA. Staying in the running line and never finding space two starts back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MORESCO (1), WESTERN ARTERRA (7), B MAC C (4), O B LEGAL (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  MORESCO (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

GABBYS IDEAL (3)
is knocking on the door after placing at her past four in succession. Exposed early last start when holding on for the silver behind the smart filly FRAYA. Collared after setting the tempo here two starts back, she can press forward to stake her claim.

FOVEAUX MAJOR (5) has not had much luck in snaring a marble in recent times, his last start from gate 6 followed six successive starts from the second line. Hitting the line strongly last start to be just a head from the winner, he finds the right conditions to capitalise here.

ROCKNROLL MAX (8) held on for the bronze last start from inside the second line over the AP mile when 5m adrift of the winner HASTY BID. Placed just once in 13 attempts on this deck, he can chime in.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7) maps for the economical trip and will be chasing for openings in the stretch. A smart winner from outside the front line here two back, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: GABBYS IDEAL (3), FOVEAUX MAJOR (5), ROCKNROLL MAX (8), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

HIGH ON MONTANA (9)
faced gate 6 last start over the AP mile and was trying to chime in late when holding the bronze behind THE VICAR OF DIBLEY. Claiming victory on this deck two starts back from inside the second line, the tempo here should be solid for him to descend upon them.

DOLLARBILL (4) faced the outside second line last start where he was sent around them in the early stages to sit parked and from there was able to grind out the victory. Buried from inside the second line the start prior, he can force the issue again to throw down the challenge.

SHADYS CULLECT (3) tried to take them all the way over the sprint trip last start when collared in the last strides, finishing a head shy of victory. Leading throughout at the 2040 the start prior, she is right in this.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (1) was snagged off the arm from gate 4 last start and was making some closing metres behind BLACKJACK BART. Placed in both prior starts, she has the options to feature.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (9), DOLLARBILL (4), SHADYS CULLECT (3), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH ON MONTANA (9) to win

RACE NINE

WINDY HILL WALLY (5)
should find this a shade easier than recent attempts where he has been racing in nice touch. Just 3m from APOLLO DREAMZ last start when using the passing lane, he was strong to the line here two starts back behind ZOOM PARTY. The gate is awkward, but he can arrive.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (6) cops no favours from the wide gate but will be relying on some tempo. Eased to the poles from gate 5 last start before making closing metres behind leader and winner JILLIBY CHAMBERS, he can be making a closing challenge again here.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1) made the most of the gate last start at Marburg, crossing to the poles and leading throughout. Burrowing through again here, she will be gripping on.

JAY TEE TYRON (7) maps for the soft trip in behind the speed and will be sweating on hitting the lane with some momentum. Collared late here two starts back, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: WINDY HILL WALLY (5), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (6), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1), JAY TEE TYRON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WINDY HILL WALLY (5) to win

RACE TEN

ODINS BLACK CROWS (2) worked forward form gate 3 here two starts back and forced the issue to take control and from the front was able to pull clear to an 8m victory. Not suited from outside the second line over the AP mile last time, he can get forward, take control and see it out.

FAIREACHDAINN (1) pressed forward from gate 4 last start but with no position was forced to retreat and then could not go on with it. Faced with the inside second line here two starts back, she can get the ideal trip from this gate to issue the challenge.

MILLIE FRANCIS (5) returned from a long spell with a first up victory three starts back when overcoming the second line to break the maiden tag. Overcoming the same gate last start, this is a tougher assignment.

NOT THE KINGSWOOD (9) darted through on the passing lane here two starts back to claim a 2m margin. Grabbing the bronze in tidy time last start behind HARRY KANE, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: ODINS BLACK CROWS (2), FAIREACHDAINN (1), MILLIE FRANCIS (5), NOT THE KINGSWOOD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ODINS BLACK CROWS (2) to win
