RACE ONE

THERESACHANCE (1) was a winner here three starts back when pressing to the front over this trip from gate 2 and leading throughout. Not suited at the 2040 at his next start, he overcooked it in front last time. With the gate to dictate, he holds the aces.

CONGO LINE (5) was forced to retreat with plenty of front-line heat last start at HQ and buried in the run, the closing tempo made it impossible for the chasers. First up from a freshen in that battle, it has been two years since he last had a look at The Triangle, but he finds conditions to challenge.

JUST JOSHIN (8) did not have the smoothest passage last start which made it tough when nothing else in the pack could go with the winner AJAY BREEZY ROSE. With the right trip, he is right in this.

VINDICATE (2) found the pocket trail last start from gate 1 but had no change of speed when the passing lane presented. With the ability to hang tough if needed, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: THERESACHANCE (1), CONGO LINE (5), JUST JOSHIN (8), VINDICATE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-8

RACE THREE

PURPLE SHADES (1)
has placed at his past two starts, the latest from the second line where he was making a closing raid and went within a head of victory. Locked away and using the passing lane here two back for the bronze, he lands all the options here.

ROSARITO (7) started from this same gate over this trip last start where he was shuffled to three back. With strong momentum to dart through and grab a 2m victory, he should secure the similar trip and with the right tempo can chase a similar result.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (8) ended a long winning drought here last start when defying the outside second line to dart through for a narrow victory. With confidence and the map, he can feature again.

JET FORCE (3) should find this a little softer than his past two outings where he has met some handy ones at The Creek. Midfield over the 2138 last start behind SWEET GEORGIA BROWN, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: PURPLE SHADES (1), ROSARITO (7), CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (8), JET FORCE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: PURPLE SHADES (1) to win

RACE FOUR

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1) has started from inside the second line at each of her past two attempts and been buried in the run on each occasion. Two starts back at Marburg, she never found space with no passing lane and last start was not suited at the 2040. She has the hustle to throw it down.

WHATA CHALLENGE (3) overcame the second line at Marburg last start when descending on them in the closing stages to claim a narrow victory. Striking trouble here two starts back when still able to grab the bronze, he might need to roll the sleeves for the tough stuff.

DONNY JONES (7) maps for the economical trip and will be locked away and awaiting the opening to dart through. Closing smartly last start wide out behind ROSARITO for 2nd, he will be probing.

MAJOR TRALEE (5) pressed hard off the arm to set the tempo last start but form the front was unable to see it out, fading to a 9m deficit. Limiting the burn will be key to his chances.

SELECTIONS: WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1), WHATA CHALLENGE (3), DONNY JONES (7), MAJOR TRALEE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1) to win

RACE FIVE

CALL ME TRISH (5)
will strip fitter from her last start where she was returning from a spell. Holding the pocket trail from gate 1, she was only 3m from the winner CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN. The gate is tricky, but she can slide into the running line and finds the right opposition to take her shot.

OUR DOLLY (6) was sent forward from gate 5 last start to sit parked where she rolled the sleeves and despite a tough trip was able to pull clear to a strong 7m margin. Runner-up three back from this same gate as CANNAN arrived, she can do it the tough way to issue the challenge.

MISS PAU (7) settled rearward from the second line last start and was trying to make closing ground when just behind the money as TORQUE IN CONTROL arrived. Momentum and space will be vital.

THE CROM (2) eased to find position last start and was too far back when trying to eat into the deficit. Moving one barrier closer to the poles here is a big help and he can pinch a placing.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TRISH (5), OUR DOLLY (6), MISS PAU (7), THE CROM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TRISH (5) to win

RACE SIX

UNDERTHEKILT (5)
backs up from Thursday where he settled int eh pocket trail and was sweating on the gap arriving while still holding momentum. Charging hard when the gap opened to grab the win, he can get forward off the arm here to chase two in the week.

CIRCLE LINE (9) was sent forward from this same gate last start to sit parked and putting the head down to grind it out kept giving to the line to hold on for 3rd. The second line at Marburg dented his hops two runs back and despite the tough gate again here will be up for the challenge.

THREE MACHS (3) has been runner-up in all three runs back from a spell, the latest when attacking the line hard along the passing lane to be 2m from the winner. With even luck she can go one better.

ZED EXPRESS (8) held the 1x1 trail from this same gate last start and held on for the bronze as OUR DOLLY toughed out the win. A similar scenario can prevail here to grab another minor.

SELECTIONS: UNDERTHEKILT (5), CIRCLE LINE (9), THREE MACHS (2), ZED EXPRESS (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  UNDERTHEKILT (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1)
has had some big fadeouts in recent starts but he lands himself a race here where he is one of just three runners in the line up to have a win next to their name this season. He has the early hustle to burrow through and limiting any burn and with limited pressure, can see it out.

WEDDING NIGHT (7) is one of the three with a win in 2023, with that win when using the passing lane here on The Triangle back in February. Eased from gate 4 last start to settle rearward on the poles, she made nice metres in the closing stages. Camped on the heat, she can challenge.

SWINGING GEORGE (9) was runner-up two starts back when sent to sit parked and holding on as GHOST TRAIN arrived. Fading last start over the AP mile, he can be chiming in here.

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (6) has no favours from the outside paint and has been facing some wide gates of late. With the right tempo, he is one of many with podium claims.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (1), WEDDING NIGHT (7), SWINGING GEORGE (9), MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

TRUE GRIT SHADOW (6)
is given the wide gate, but he drops back into the 30-40 company after a last start where he was buried in the run and left chasing as CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN arrived. The pace was too slippery here two starts back and despite the gate, he finds the right assignment here to capitalise.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9) grabbed the silver last start when making a closing raid to be 1m from the winner JAMAICIAN RESORT. Asked to grind it out first over the start prior at Marburg, he can be making a late raid again here to issue a challenge.

DESTINY BLUES (8) faced a wide gate last start at Marburg where she covered some ground trying to secure position before fading late. Following through in the early stages, she is a podium hope.

OKANES DEVIL (1) was best of the chasing pack to grab 2nd at Marburg last start behind MAN OF ACTION. A soft peg trip here can see him in the minor money.

SELECTIONS: TRUE GRIT SHADOW (6), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9), DESTINY BLUES (8), OKANES DEVIL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TRUE GRIT SHADOW (6) to win
